Mon May 16 201117:46Grizz not sure about bringing Haddadi back
G.M. Chris Wallace said that a decision hasn't yet been made on making a qualifying offer to center Hamed Haddadi.
While there are no guarantees that he'll be back with the team next season, it is still a possibility.

Wed Apr 13 201101:07Haddadi nearly double-doubles vs. POR
Hamed Haddadi neared a double-double with nine points on 4-of-8 shooting with 10 rebounds, one assist, and one block in 20 minutes off the bench.
Should Zach Randolph get another night's rest on Wednesday, then Haddadi will be worth a look, and could become a decent option if Marc Gasol were to get rested, too.

Wed Mar 2 201101:57Haddadi plays just five minutes in win
Hamed Haddadi played just five minutes for six points and four rebounds on 3-of-3 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Spurs.
He had 10 points and 10 boards in 21 minutes in his last game, but wasn't needed tonight, despite Marc Gasol being ejected in the first half. Haddadi is worth watching, but is not a must-own player by any means, even in deep leagues. Just keep an eye on him.

Sat Feb 26 201123:55Hamed Haddadi double-doubles in win
Hamed Haddadi played 21 minutes and hit 5-of-11 shots on his way to 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks off the Grizzlies' bench.
He had scored a total of seven points coming into this game and recorded a career high in rebounds along with his first double-double. With Hasheem Thabeet out of the way, Haddadi is now the backup center in Memphis. This game was an easy win for the Grizz, their third straight, so don't expect this on a nightly basis. But if you're in a deep league and need a center, he's certainly worth a look with Thabeet in Houston.
Mon Dec 27 201010:25Haddadi alleges racism within Grizzlies
Grizzlies center Hamed Haddadi has complained about being "deprived of privileges because he is Iranian."
According to his brother, "[Hamed] has to pay for anything within the club...the Spanish player [Marc Gasol] does not pay a dime for his purchases." The specific allegations of racism end there, but Haddadi has even more reasons to be unhappy -- he had a physical altercation with his girlfriend over Thanksgiving and his role has dwindled this season.

Thu Nov 25 201020:07Haddadi charged with assault
Hamed Haddadi and his girlfriend, Goolnaz "Asal" Karbalaeinematmoeeney, have been charged with assault after the two of them got into an altercation with each other on Thanksgiving morning.
Police found the pair banged up in an apartment building with bruises and scratches on Thursday morning, as a verbal disagreement apparently turned physical. Both of them were taken to a Memphis hospital for treatment. Haddadi has played in only four of the Grizzlies' first 15 games this season.
Mon Oct 4 201010:30Haddadi slowed by legal issues in Iran
Hamed Haddadi hasn't joined the Grizzlies for training camp because legal issues have prevented his departure from Iran.
Haddadi posted an optimistic 'Tweet' on Sunday ("another fresh start for my life... I'm so happy!") and it sounds like he'll arrive soon. He's coming off a great showing with the Iranian national team, but the presence of Marc Gasol limits his fantasy upside.

Tue Aug 31 201019:24Hamed Haddadi carrying Iranian team
Hamed Haddadi has been dominant for the Iranian national team this summer, averaging 22.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.7 blocks in three World Championship games.
Iran defeated Tunisia behind a big game from Haddadi, but they are still just 1-2 with a game vs. the U.S. on Wednesday. Grizzlies fans have to be pleased, though his gaudy stats (including 4-for-12 three-pointers) aren't likely to mean much once the NBA season kicks off.
