Tue Apr 1 201400:31Sullinger falls off yet again on Monday
Jared Sullinger took two steps back on Monday, scoring two points on 1-of-6 shooting with six rebounds and no steals or blocks in 20 minutes off the bench.
Sullinger went for 16 and 10 on Sunday and results like this have been the story not just for him but all of the Celtics' big men. He simply can't be trusted in standard formats during the fantasy playoffs.

Sun Mar 30 201421:35Jared Sullinger double-doubles in loss to CHI
Jared Sullinger posted his first double-double since late February on Sunday, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a loss to the visiting Bulls.
Sullinger made 6-of-11 field goals, including two 3-pointers, and he also handed out two assists with one block. Celtics coach Brad Stevens views the 6'8" Sullinger as primarily a PF, where his low-post scoring won't be neutralized by bigger defenders, and he's given him a green light to attack offensively. Unfortunately, Sullinger is shooting just 36.8 percent from the field this month and his lack of steals (0.6) and blocks (0.5) continue to detract from his fantasy value.

Sat Mar 29 201414:03Celtics coach views Jared Sullinger as PF
Brad Stevens suggested that Jared Sullinger has to play power forward because of his 6'8" height.
"To be very effective at the center spot against the best in the league, he needs to be able to stretch the floor consistently," Stevens said. "But his main position, and the position where we'd like to play him most often, is the power forward." He went on to call Sullinger the Celtics' best low-post scorer "on most nights," but lamented the second-year forward's inconsistency. Fantasy owners can relate, as his peaks and valleys have combined for 14th-round value over the past month (nine-cat).

Wed Mar 26 201422:32Jared Sullinger posts monster line in loss
Jared Sullinger hit 8-of-17 shots and four 3-pointers on his way to 26 points, eight rebounds, a steal and two blocks in Wednesday's loss.
This was one of his best games of the season but he's been the best Celtics big man lately, averaging 15.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five. Kris Humphries is starting, but Sullinger is the hot Celtics' big man right now.

Sat Mar 22 201402:40Jared Sullinger's offensive game falling off
Jared Sullinger's struggles continued on Friday in a loss to the Nets, making 2-of-6 from the field for eight points with four boards, two assists, one steal and two turnovers in 23 minutes.
His last five games look ugly thanks to shooting just 34.4 percent from the field including 23.5 percent from deep. Sullinger is shooting just 24.1 percent from beyond the arc on the season, so it's not even really worth it for him to be taking so many. He's actually had an upward trend in attempts and probably won't be stopping any time soon.

Mon Mar 17 201423:42Sullinger just misses double-double
Jared Sullinger just missed a double-double in Monday's loss, scoring 13 points on 6-of-16 shooting with nine rebounds and one steal in 28 minutes off the bench.
Sullinger needs bigger volume to offset deficiencies in peripheral stats and shooting percentage, and right now he's barely playing at a 14-team level in fantasy leagues. The good news is that his role is mostly stable and eventually the Celtics might stop playing veterans Kris Humphries and Brandon Bass in lieu of the younger guys.

Sun Mar 16 201421:11Jared Sullinger plays well in 30 minutes
Jared Sullinger led Boston's reserves with 14 points, two 3-pointers, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks in 30 minutes.
Sullinger is averaging 0.6 threes on 24.0 percent shooting from downtown this season, and he's been even worse since the All-Star break, making the pair of 3-pointers an aberration. He's been a liability for fantasy owners over the past two weeks, barely cracking the top-200 in nine-cat leagues, so don't put too much stock in this solid game.

Sun Mar 16 201410:05Boston will continue to feed Jared Sullinger
Over the last 10 games Jared Sullinger has shot 38-of-112 from the field, but that won't stop Celtics coach Brad Stevens from feeding him the rock.
"We're going to keep going to him because we believe in him, and we want him to continue to grow," said Stevens. In a season where the Celtics currently boast a record of 22-44, "player development" is a word that will be much more predominant than "winning," and that means Sullinger will be given plenty of shots and minutes despite his struggles. Hopefully his woeful shooting will turn around soon, and when that happens, Sullinger will be a great asset to have on your fantasy roster.

Fri Mar 14 201423:50Jared Sullinger scores nine on rough night
Jared Sullinger shot 2-of-12 from the field for nine points vs. the Suns on Friday with nine boards, one assist and one turnover in 21 minutes.
He still hasn't quite gotten on the right track since his concussion from last month. Over his last five, Sullinger shot just 36.4 percent from the field for averages of 11.0 points, 9.2 boards and 0.4 steals. He should get better as the season goes on.

Tue Mar 11 201421:57Jared Sullinger plays well off bench for C's
Jared Sullinger hit 8-of-17 shots and a 3-pointer for 17 points and nine rebounds in 26 minutes.
Kris Humphries started and also played 26 minutes, Brandon Bass played 23 minutes and Kelly Olynyk struggled through his 21 minutes tonight. It's impossible to figure out who Brad Steven is going to roll with on a nightly basis and we expect all four players to be inconsistent as long as they're all sharing minutes. But for now, we'd rank them Humphries, Sullinger, Bass and Olynyk, as long as Humphries continues to stick in the starting lineup.

Sat Mar 1 201423:06Jared Sullinger returns from concussion
Jared Sullinger returned from a concussion and came off the bench Saturday, finishing with 10 points, six rebounds and a block on 4-of-12 shooting.
He should be back in the starting lineup soon and it remains to be seen what Kris Humphries' role will be when it happens. Sullinger wasn't great tonight, but lasted 25 minutes and should get it going again soon.

Sat Mar 1 201418:20Jared Sullinger will play, Kelly Olynyk won't
Jared Sullinger (concussion) will play vs. the Pacers on Saturday night.
He has missed the last three games due to a mild concussion and he's probably going to be giving it a full go today. Sullinger has been the best big man on the team and he's played well in his 31.3 minutes per game in February. Fantasy owners can put him back in their lineups.

Fri Feb 28 201412:01Jared Sullinger likely back on Saturday
Jared Sullinger (concussion) is expected to return Saturday, barring setbacks.
Sullinger has been cleared to practice in full on Friday. As long as he emerges without any concussion symptoms, he'll be back for Saturday's game against the Pacers. Look for Sullinger to reclaim his starting job from Kris Humphries.

Thu Feb 27 201417:03Jared Sullinger (concussion) to practice Fri.
Jared Sullinger (concussion) expects to resume practicing on Friday.
He's missed three games and there are no guarantees that he'll play Saturday, but this obviously indicates that he's getting close. His return will spoil the fun for owners of Kris Humphries and Brandon Bass, both of whom are absorbing more minutes in Sullinger's absence.

Wed Feb 26 201416:34Jared Sullinger (concussion) likely out Wed.
Jared Sullinger (concussion) is not expected to play on Wednesday night vs. the Hawks.
He was diagnosed with a concussion on Saturday and will have to go through the league's protocol. There has been no word of him doing work on a stationary bike yet, so he'll be up in the air for Saturday's game vs. the Pacers. Brandon Bass has been logging big minutes while Kelly Olynyk also turned in a 21-point effort on Monday. Kris Humphries will also get more minutes in his starting role.

Mon Feb 24 201411:51Jared Sullinger (concussion) out Monday
Jared Sullinger (concussion) will not play vs. the Jazz on Monday.
Boston's next two games will be played on Wednesday and Saturday, and owners should consider Sullinger questionable for those contests. His absence should ensure heavy playing time at center for Kris Humphries, who is himself battling soreness in his back, hip and knees.

Sat Feb 22 201418:24Jared Sullinger diagnosed w/ mild concussion
Jared Sullinger suffered a mild concussion on Friday night and will not play on Saturday.
He'll have to go through the concussion protocol and his status for the upcoming week is in doubt. Sullinger is doubtful for Monday and could also miss Wednesday's game. He's a tough player and battles through a lot of injuries, but the stringent protocol will likely mean his owners should look at other options. In the meantime, the Celtics will use a combo of Kris Humphries and Kelly Olynyk to play next to Brandon Bass.

Sat Feb 22 201415:24Jared Sullinger (head) won't play vs. Kings
Jared Sullinger was hit hard in the head late in Friday's game against the Lakers and he will not play against the Kings on Saturday.
This news comes out of nowhere after Sullinger finished last night's game with a double-double. There is no word on how severe his head injury or if he'll undergo concussion testing. He should be considered questionable for Monday's game against the Jazz. Brandon Bass has been effective while the Cetlics figure to count on Kelly Olynyk a little more tonight. Kris Humphries should also be busy and have his hands full against DeMarcus Cousins.

Fri Feb 21 201412:54Jared Sullinger listed as starter
Jared Sullinger is listed as a starter for Friday's game against the Lakers despite grabbing his right leg late in Wednesday's loss to the Suns.
The Celtics said it was just cramps that got to Sullinger and haven't updated his status since. It's not a real concern, but it's another nick that he's dealing with as he's cooled off since going on a tear earlier this month. Sully's injuries and inability to adjust to double teams have make him a middling fantasy prospect more than an elite one right now. Look for the Celtics to start Rajon Rondo, Gerald Wallace, Jeff Green, Sullinger and Brandon Bass in Friday's dream matchup.
