Tue Oct 14 201416:12Ezeli (Leg) practiced for first time in two weeks Tuesday
Ezeli (Leg) practiced for the first time in two weeks Tuesday, Monte Poole of CSN reports.
Ezeli donned a brace for practice but was able to move around well and participated in wind sprints at the end of practice. Coach Steve Kerr said Ezeli will sit out the team's upcoming three-game road swing, which begins Thursday and concludes Sunday, but he's progressing well and should be back in the mix in the near future.
Thu Oct 9 201406:39Ezeli (shin) said he plans to be ready for regular-season opener
Ezeli (shin) said he plans to be ready for the regular-season opener, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
Ezeli, who missed the preseason opener Tuesday, is out indefinitely with inflammation in his shin. He said he feels "very, very slight" discomfort.

Ezeli (shin) is expected to miss the Warriors' first three preseason games, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The center will be held out of any sort of action with right-shin inflammation until he's re-evaluated Wednesday or Thursday.
Until he can get back on the floor, head coach Steve Kerr said he's going to give playing time to Marreese Speights and Ognjen Kuzmic.
Sat Oct 4 201411:15Ezeli (shin) did not practice for second consecutive day Friday
Ezeli (shin) did not practice for a second consecutive day Friday, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
Head coach Steve Kerr said the team is "taking it slow" with Ezeli who missed all of last season recovering from knee surgery.
Thu Oct 2 201423:19Ezeli did not practice Thursday due to inflammation in shin
Ezeli, who had practiced Tuesday and Wednesday, did not practice Thursday due to inflammation in his shin, CSN Bay Area reports.
There were positive reports earlier this week, as Ezeli practiced hard and was dunking. His injury leaves Golden State with two healthy centers -- Andrew Bogut and Ognjen Kuzmic.

Ezeli was held out of a scrimmage Tuesday night but was back at practice Wednesday, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The Warriors are not working Ezeli real hard as he returns from knee surgery he underwent 15 months ago and inflammation in his shin that cropped up over the summer. He's been active in practice and there does not appear to be any limitations. The Warriors are hoping he can be the primary backup at center, but he has little NBA seasoning, particularly for a team that expects to challenge for Western Conference dominance.

Ezeli (shin) practice "full bore" when the Warriors opened training camp Tuesday, according to head coach Steve Kerr, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
This marked the first time Ezeli was able to practice without limitations since he underwent knee surgery 15 months ago. He attempted to play for Golden State's summer-league team, but a shin injury put an end to those plans.

Ezeli (shin) will be the Warriors' primary backup to Andrew Bogut after the team learned Thursday that Jermaine O'Neal would not return, CSN Bay Area reports.
It sounds like O'Neal hasn't made a decision on whether or not to retire, but he's definitely not signing at this point. This means Ezeli, once his shin heals up, will be the Warriors' backup at center.

Ezeli (shin) is expected to be the primary backup to center Andrew Bogut this season, CSN Bay Area reports.
Ezeli may not start training camp, but he's expected to get himself ready at some point before the start of the regular season. The Warriors could use more proven depth in the front court, and they are still talking with Jermaine O'Neal, but as the roster stand right now, Ezeli needs to be the backup to Bogut.

Ezeli (knee) is still not 100 percent healthy after being sidelined by a knee injury for the entire 2013-14 NBA season, the SFGate reports.
Ezeli was set to play in July in the Las Vegas Summer League, but was unable to due to shin inflammation. He's confident that he'll return to full participation once training camp begins, showing signs that he will be ready to contribute to the team once the season starts.
Mon Jul 7 201423:30Festus Ezeli to miss Summer League
Festus Ezeli will not play in Summer League this year because of right shin inflammation.
Ezeli has missed enough time with his knee surgery to take it easy on the first sign of trouble, but it also goes without saying that the Warriors would appreciate him getting his work in. The team says the injury isn't serious and we'll know by his participation in the preseason.

Tue Jun 10 201415:32Festus Ezeli (knee) cleared to play in Vegas
Warriors center Festus Ezeli (knee surgery) has been cleared to play and he's expected to participate in the Las Vegas Summer League.
Ezeli has been out for almost a year after having surgery to repair ligaments in his right knee, but he's been playing pickup games since the end of the regular season. "They think it's a good idea [to play in Summer Leauge], so I probably will," Ezeli said. "Just go to Vegas, get some touches and get my rhythm back. Just get back to playing. Get back to being comfortable on the court." Andrew Bogut has a lengthy history of injuries and Jermaine O'Neal is uncertain to return for Golden State next season, so a healthy Ezeli would be a nice boost for the Warriors' frontcourt.

Sat May 3 201422:31Festus Ezeli won't play in Game 7
Festus Ezeli (knee) will not play in Game 7 on Saturday.
For whatever reason, there was a positive report about Ezeli possibly playing last weekend, but there has been nothing else to suggest he's ready to go. Ezeli has been limited in practice and the Warriors should have a heavy dose of Draymond Green and David Lee tonight.

Fri May 2 201416:14Festus Ezeli goes through some practice
Festus Ezeli (knee) went through some portions of practice on Friday.
It is being called "live work" with the other big men, so he doesn't sound like he was a full participant. Ezeli does have a chance to play in Game 7 on Saturday and the Warriors could use him if they get into foul trouble as a unit, but he's not going to be a huge piece of the puzzle, especially with how Draymond Green has stepped it up.

Thu May 1 201420:52Festus Ezeli won't play on Thursday night
Festus Ezeli (knee) will not play against the Clippers on Thursday.
Outside of one optimistic report over the weekend, there has been little reason to think Ezeli will suit up for this series. There has been no word on the big man taking on contact and the Warriors will continue to mix and match their way with big men next to David Lee.

Mon Apr 28 201414:30Festus Ezeli (knee) not expected back on Tues
Festus Ezeli (knee) is not expected to play in Game 5 on Tuesday.
There was a report on Sunday that he could return for that game, but it did seem optimistic. There has been no word of Ezeli taking on contact and we'd think he's closer to doubtful to play in this series vs. the Clippers. It'll be Draymond Green and David Lee getting most of the minutes in the paint for the Warriors in the near future.

Sun Apr 27 201419:28Festus Ezeli (knee) could play on Tuesday
Festus Ezeli (knee) is getting closer and could make his debut on Tuesday in Game 5.
He was ruled out for Sunday back on Friday and has been going through 5-on-0 workouts. Ezeli's knee surgery has kept him inactive since last offseason and the Warriors probably won't use him much.

Thu Apr 24 201420:57Festus Ezeli (knee) will not play in Gm. 3-4
Festus Ezeli (knee) will not play in Game 3 and Game 4 vs. the Clippers.
He is up to 5-on-0 workouts and has been out for 10 months due to knee surgery. There seems to be a very little chance he'll be able to play in this series against the Clippers since he's still not taking on contact -- arguably the biggest step of his rehab. The Warriors will have to use Jermaine O'Neal, David Lee, Hilton Armstrong, Marreese Speights and Draymond Green a bit more to alleviate the loss of Andrew Bogut (ribs).

Wed Apr 23 201413:39Warriors C Festus Ezeli still rehabbing knee
Warriors center Festus Ezeli admitted frustration over the slow recovery of his surgically-repaired right knee.
Ezeli had surgery 10 months ago with an expected recovery time of 6-9 months, but he only recently was cleared to bend his knee. It's very unlikely that he'll be healthy enough to appear in the playoffs, which is unfortunate for the Warriors since they're already without Andrew Bogut (rib).

Mon Apr 14 201410:06Festus Ezeli (knee) to practice 'pretty soon'
Festus Ezeli (right knee) has been cleared to take contact in one-on-one drills and he expects to begin practicing "pretty soon."
The Warriors' 24-year-old center hasn't played all season after surgery last June to repair his MCL and PCL ligaments. His return to health is a welcome sight for Golden State, but he's unlikely to play as long as Andrew Bogut and Jermaine O'Neal are active.
