Fri Feb 28 201411:04Conditioning is a concern for Henry Sims
Coach Brett Brown said C Henry Sims needs to get in shape.
Sims is the only true center on the roster, so it looks like he's going to run with the starters. He got 23 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Magic, finishing with 10 points, six boards and a block. But in order to get more minutes, Sims is going to have to hit the treadmill. "He admitted candidly to one of our assistant coaches that he hasn't played this many minutes in a long time," Brown said. Sims should be on watch lists, not in fantasy starting lineups.

Wed Feb 26 201421:46Henry Sims starts, goes for 10 & 6 in loss
Henry Sims started at center for the Sixers on Wednesday and had 10 points, six rebounds and a block in 23 minutes.
He played well and we're guessing the Sixers are going to keep experimenting with their big men before settling on a starter. Arnett Moultrie didn't score in 16 minutes tonight, while Byron Mullens could be the next man up, going for seven points and three boards in 17 minutes off the bench. None of the Sixers' centers are worth using right now.

Wed Feb 26 201418:12Henry Sims, Hollis Thompson will start
Henry Sims and Hollis Thompson will start against the Magic on Wednesday.
They will join Michael Carter-Williams, James Anderson and Thaddeus Young in the first unit. Sims was the first man off the bench on Monday and there's a good chance he'll play most of the minutes at center for the Sixers tonight. Arnett Moultrie's conditioning has been a hot topic while Byron Mullens' low-post defense could use some work. Sims is worth a look in deep leagues.

Henry Sims made his Sixers debut on Monday against the Bucks, scoring four points with five rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes off the bench.
Sims doesn't have any pedigree but he'll be worth watching in case he can step into a significant role for the depleted Sixers. We'll let you know if that happens.

Thu Feb 20 201411:47Henry Sims headed to Philly
Henry Sims was traded to the Sixers on Thursday.
He's been getting some playing time for the Cavs over his last four games due to Anderson Varejao (knee) going down, averaging 4.8 points, 5.3 boards and 0.5 steals in 15.5 minutes per game. Sims has 0.4 blocks per game on the season in just 8.4 minutes per game on the season, so he's a dark horse for value with his new team in very deep leagues.

Free agent F/C Henry Sims may get an invite to Cavaliers training camp.

The Hornets have signed PF/C Henry Sims out of the D-League.
Sims will play on a 10-day contract and his signing is merely insurance for the Hornets frontcourt now that Jason Smith (shoulder) is done for the season.

The Hornets are expected to sign C Henry Sims to a 10-day contract, a league source confirmed to John Reid of The Times Picayune.
