Sat Apr 2 201102:18Raja Bell (foot) won't travel with Jazz
Raja Bell will not travel with the Jazz on their upcoming two-game road trip due to his foot injury.
He has no fantasy value anyway, as C.J. Miles is playing well after stealing the starting gig.

Thu Mar 31 201112:26Bell upgraded to questionable
Raja Bell (foot) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday's game against the Lakers, but admitted he doesn't expect to play.
Bell is going to try to practice Thursday, but there's not much incentive for him to go. The Jazz would probably prefer to get a long look at rookie Gordon Hayward as a starter anyway.

Wed Mar 30 201112:16Raja Bell in a walking boot
Raja Bell (foot) will not play in Friday's game against the Lakers.
Bell was in a walking boot Wednesday and apparently is not close to playing. Considering that Bell has butted heads with coach Tyrone Corbin and the Jazz are out of the playoffs, Bell might just shut it down. Gordon Hayward is looking at a ton of burn over the final seven games.

Tue Mar 29 201101:34Raja Bell leaves game with foot injury
Raja Bell left Monday's game with a sprained right foot after playing 19 minutes, scoring three points on 1-of-6 shooting (including a three) to go with two rebounds.
X-rays taken were negative, but any absence by Bell will help get guys like Gordon Hayward minutes, and in a roundabout way clear up minutes for Derrick Favors, too. As for Bell, he has no real shot at fantasy value at 100 percent health, so needless to say he has no value when he's hobbled.

Sat Mar 26 201123:54Raja Bell scores seven in start for AK
Raja Bell started in place of Andrei Kirilenko (knee) on Saturday and had seven points, four rebounds, three steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 2-of-6 shooting.
He doesn't have much fantasy value, and will not be worth a look if and when Kirilenko returns from his injury. Gordon Hayward came off the bench for six points in the loss.

Tue Mar 22 201101:56Bell scores five points off the bench
Raja Bell scored five points off the bench on Monday, hitting 2-of-7 shots from the field (no threes) with one rebound and three assists in 29 minutes.
Even with the Jazz all banged up, Bell hasn't shown he can produce when he gets minutes, and there's no reason to believe he's going to start at this late juncture.

Sun Mar 20 201112:02Raja Bell (toe) to play for Jazz on Sunday
Raja Bell (toe) will be in the lineup for the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
C.J. Miles has taken over the starting position so Bell is only worth a look in extremely deep leagues. Even then there are probably players with greater upside sitting on the waiver wire.

Thu Mar 17 201101:14Raja Bell quietly returns from toe injury
Raja Bell, who was demoted in favor of C.J. Miles, returned from a toe injury and came off the bench for six points and three assists.
He has no fantasy value - especially with Miles going off for 40 points in his place tonight.

Wed Mar 16 201113:10Bell a game-time decision
Raja Bell (toe) is listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Wolves.
Even if Bell plays, we are expecting him to come off the bench behind C.J. Miles.

Tue Mar 15 201113:32Raja admits C.J. Miles should start
Raja Bell said Tuesday that he thinks C.J. Miles should be starting over him.
Bell, a veteran leader and one of the more respected players in the league, is showing class here. He knows he has been passed by and wants to do what is best for the team. "I think it should be a permanent move, CJ plays better as a starter," Bell said. We'd expect coach Ty Corbin to make the move official soon -- make sure Miles isn't on your waiver wire.

Tue Mar 15 201101:52Bell (toe) plays 36 minutes against Sixers
Raja Bell was a game-time decision for Monday's game due to a toe injury, but still managed to play 36 minutes on his way to five points on 2-of-6 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Players are talking about C.J. Miles' explosion as a starter in starry-eyed ways, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the Jazz make a change, though no change is imminent just yet. Either way, Bell has no real value without an injury, so the presence of one seals the deal for him.

Mon Mar 14 201112:54Raja Bell (toe) a game time decision Monday
Raja Bell (toe) is being called a game time decision for Monday's game against the Sixers.
The Jazz seem to be dropping like flies. If Bell and Gordon Hayward (foot) can't go then C.J. Miles could be in line for some big minutes.

Fri Mar 11 201110:07Raja Bell isn't thinking about retirement
Jazz swingman Raja Bell says that he hasn't even contemplated retirement.
Bell played a game-high 45 minutes on Wednesday but finished with just five points on 2-of-8 shooting. You never have to question his intensity, but his production has been less-than-impressive this season.

Sun Mar 6 201100:03Raja Bell plays well for Jazz
Raja Bell had 16 points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 4-of-7 shooting in Saturday's OT win over the Kings.
He's been too inconsistent to use in most fantasy leagues, but at least deserves a spot on your radar after tonight.

Thu Feb 24 201110:30Interest but deal unlikely for Raja Bell
The Minnesota Timberwolves have expressed interest in Raja Bell but according to sources the more likely possibility is a trade in the summer.
This doesn't mean that trade talks have stopped but he could still be wearing a Jazz uniform for the remainder of the season.

Thu Feb 24 201102:55Raja Bell struggles in return for Jazz
Raja Bell hit just 1-of-7 shots for five points in his return from a calf injury on Wednesday.
He wasn't feeling it tonight, but C.J. Miles came off the bench for 16 points and a three, despite hitting just 2-of-9 shots. Miles is clearly more valuable than Bell at this point.
Thu Feb 24 201102:01Raja Bell returned to action on Wednesday February 23
Raja Bell returned to action on Wednesday February 23.
Wed Feb 23 201116:15T'Wolves reportedly interested in Raja Bell
The T'Wolves have some interest in acquiring Jazz guard Raja Bell, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
We're not sure exactly why a non-playoff contender like Minnesota would want an older shooting guard, but Bell departing Utah would potentially open up minutes and a boost in value for C.J. Miles.

Tue Feb 22 201109:30Bell expected back Wednesday
Raja Bell (calf) practiced Monday and is expected to play in Wednesday against the Mavericks.
Coach Tyrone Corbin confirmed that Bell will start, slamming the door on any ideas that C.J. Miles or Gordon Hayward would send the veteran to the pine. Still, Bell averages just 8.4 points per game as a starter, making him waiver-wire fodder.

Tue Feb 15 201113:34Bell says he is out Tuesday
Updating a previous item, Raja Bell (calf) said he is out Tuesday.
C.J. Miles and Gordon Hayward will be starting for the Jazz tonight. Bell will resume starting as soon as he's healthy, but is averaging just 8.4 points per game in that role this season.
