Tue Feb 14 201201:09Bell hits three triples on Monday vs. NO
Raja Bell hit three 3-point shots in Monday's loss to the Hornets, scoring 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting to go with one assist.
Bell has hit two or more 3-pointers in 4-of-5 games, and if you need help in that category he is worth a look while he's hot. Just remember that he doesn't do anything else. Al Jefferson was the only other Jazz starter not to struggle, scoring 14 points with 12 boards, two steals, and two blocks, while Paul Millsap hit just 2-of-9 shots on his way to four points, five rebounds, one assist, and two steals in the loss.

Sat Feb 11 201203:54Bell scores 13 points despite wrist issue
Raja Bell (shooting wrist) started and scored 13 points in the Jazz's 101-87 loss to the Thunder on Friday, hitting 4-of-5 shots from the field (including three treys) with two rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes.
Bell clearly wasn't bothered by the wrist injury tonight, though he said it was in pain before the game. Of course, Bell is killing the drill for fantasy owners in Utah, and tonight's result isn't going to help Gordon Hayward (33 minutes), C.J. Miles (19 minutes), or Josh Howard (15 minutes). Al Jefferson scored 10 points with eight boards, four assists, and a block, and Paul Millsap added 10 points, nine boards, four assists, and two steals in the loss.

Sat Feb 4 201212:38Raja Bell (groin) game-time on Saturday
Raja Bell (adductor) is a game-time decision for Utah on Saturday.
Bell continues to start at SG for the Jazz but he's not providing fantasy value, while C.J. Miles has been playing well in his absence.

Wed Feb 1 201212:50Raja Bell won't play on Wednesday or Thursday
Raja Bell (adductor strained) will not play on Wednesday nor will he play on Thursday.
Bell won't even travel with the team when Utah heads out west to take on the Warriors on Thursday. C.J. Miles will continue to serve as a scoring threat off the bench and he has been producing much more favorably with Bell sidelined, but Josh Howard will start once again in Bell's place.

Tue Jan 31 201213:26Raja Bell ruled out of Wednesday's game
Updating a previous item, Raja Bell (adductor strain) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
C.J. Miles, will continue to see extended run and has scored in double-digits in six of his last seven games. He also has seven treys over that same span of time and is worth a look as a spot-start for owners who need help from beyond the arc.

Tue Jan 31 201212:08Raja Bell will be a game-time call Wednesday
Raja Bell (adductor) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday against the Clippers.
Bell sat out on Monday, and no decision has been made by the training staff as to how long he'll be forced to miss. We'll get an update on his status on Wednesday, but C.J. Miles, who has been rolling of late, would continue to see a big boost in his value while Bell is out.

Mon Jan 30 201212:44Raja Bell (groin) won't play Monday
Raja Bell (strained right adductor) will not play in Monday's game vs. the Blazers.
Bell missed some time with a groin injury last season and it threw off his rhythm, so hopefully he won't be out too long. C.J. Miles should continue to play more with Bell hurting, and is worth a look in most leagues -- he's averaging 15.6 points, 1.2 threes and 1.8 steals over the past six games.

Sun Jan 29 201213:14Raja Bell says he caught groin injury early
Raja Bell missed the second half of Saturday's game with a strained adductor (groin), but thinks he caught the injury early enough to avoid a long layoff.
"I'm excited that I caught it early and hopefully it won't cost me much," Bell said after the game. The Jazz are off on Sunday and face the Blazers on Monday, where Bell will likely be a game-time decision. If he's out, C.J. Miles is going to likely start in place after scoring 20 points on Saturday. Bell missed four games last season because of strained left and right adductors, so he might not want to rush back from this one.

Sat Jan 28 201222:49Raja Bell leaves w/ strained abductor
Jazz SF Raja Bell left Saturday's game with a strained abductor and will not return.
C.J. Miles is having a big game and could be the new starter if Bell's going to miss time with the injury. And that looks likely to happen, as abductor is another term for groin. Miles will probably be worth grabbing in many leagues if he ends up starting for the Jzzz.

Sat Jan 28 201202:04Raja Bell plays through back injury
Raja Bell started on Friday, despite a back injury, and had eight points, two rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes.
Bell was iffy with a back injury, but played tonight. If Josh Howard ever gets healthy he could replace Bell in the starting five, so Bell has no fantasy value as of now.

Fri Jan 27 201219:30Raja Bell (knee) is active for Friday's game
Raja Bell (knee, back) is active and starting in Friday's game against the Mavs.
Bell will continue to kill the fantasy value of his teammates, without providing any fantasy value of his own.

Thu Jan 26 201212:00Raja Bell not practicing on Thursday for Utah
Raja Bell (knee, back) won't practice on Thursday.
Bell has started every game for the Jazz this season but has only reached double-digits in scoring three times. Despite averaging nearly 24 minutes per game, Bell just doesn't do enough to be worth consideration in standard sized leagues.

Mon Jan 9 201209:37Raja Bell has his best game of the year
Raja Bell had "his best performance of the year" on Saturday, according to the Deseret News.
Bell finished the game with nine points and three assists, and he played excellent defense in the final possession of the game, forcing Monta Ellis to miss a potential game-winner. He recently expressed dissatisfaction with his role in Utah, or something to that effect, but all is well at the moment.

Tue Jan 3 201215:10Raja Bell will stick as a starter
Raja Bell will remain in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Bucks.
Bell's grip on the starting job isn't strong, especially with Josh Howard playing well and Gordon Hayward/C.J. Miles needing minutes to develop. But for now, Bell will stick thanks to his defensive presence. Through five games, he's averaging 2.2 points in 19.6 minutes a night.

Wed Nov 2 201112:43Raja Bell to consider his overseas options
Raja Bell is considering his options overseas if the lockout continues to linger.
We've heard this from a number of players throughout the process, but it's clear that most of it has been posturing. Bell mentions Spain, Italy and Israel as realistic options should he pursue the path.

Sat Oct 22 201110:37Raja Bell calls out David Stern
NBA veteran Raja Bell recently described commissioner David Stern as "one of the biggest problems in this whole lockout."
To his credit, Bell refused to condone the image that HBO host Bryant Gumbel painted of Stern as a "plantation overseer." Tensions are running high in the CBA talks right now and we need as many voices of reason, like Bell, as possible.

Fri Apr 8 201113:28Bell, Kirilenko among those out on Saturday
Raja Bell (foot) is one of five players who will not travel with the Jazz for Saturday's game at San Antonio.
The other four are Andrei Kirilenko, Ronnie Price, Kyrylo Fesenko, and Mehmet Okur. Utah's season is over for all ostensible purposes and fantasy owners shouldn't expect any of these guys to have value.

Thu Apr 7 201113:19Bell out Thursday
Raja Bell (foot) will not play in Thursday's game against the Blazers, as expected.
Gordon Hayward and C.J. Miles are set for a ton of minutes against Blazers, who are going small without Marcus Camby.

Wed Apr 6 201112:46Raja Bell doubtful Thursday
Raja Bell (foot) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Blazers.
Bell will almost certainly be held out as the Jazz get a look at their young players. Gordon Hayward is going to keep getting a ton of burn.
