Mon Nov 28 202208:57Tyler Herro Notches A Triple-Double Versus Atlanta
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro shots bricks all game against Atlanta on Sunday, but he was still able to finish with his first triple-double of the campaign. Through 40 minutes of action, Herro piled up 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. He also had one steal and one turnover in a 106-98 win. This was a very productive outing by Herro, but he went a horrible 0-for-8 with the three-ball and finished just 3-for-13 overall from the field. Having shot 7-for-31 across his last two outings, Herro's clearly out of his rhythm. He has only just returned from an ankle sprain and it appears that Herro will need some time to shake off the rust. With that said, he has reached double figures in assists in back-to-back games, which must be a very pleasant surprise for fantasy managers, as Herro is a trigger-happy player who generally doesn't hand out a lot of dimes.

Sun Nov 27 202213:54Tyler Herro Probable On Sunday
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) is expected to play on Sunday in Atlanta. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year missed eight games because of a sprained ankle. However, despite Herro's continuous injury designation, he's played in the last two games, most recently logging 38 minutes in Friday's win over the Wizards. Herro has underperformed since returning. Yet, fantasy managers should keep him going in all formats, especially with Jimmy Butler (knee) remaining out on Sunday.

He's missed the last eight games due to a sprained left ankle, although it's unknown if he'll be limited. Fri Nov 18 202217:49Tyler Herro Could Return On Sunday
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) could return for Sunday's meeting with Cleveland, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. In the meantime, he won't play against the Wizards. Besides Herro, Jimmy Butler (knee), Duncan Robinson (hand), and possibly Bam Adebayo (knee), among others, are also out on Friday. As a result, guys like Caleb Martin and Max Strus should draw attention from DFS managers searching for value. Rookie Nikola Jovic, who had 13 points in Wednesday's loss to Toronto, may be another popular fantasy option.

Tue Nov 15 202215:16Tyler Herro Not Traveling On Team's Road Trip
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) seems like he'll be missing four more games as he's not traveling with the team on their road trip. He's already missed the last four and the Heat are slated to travel to Toronto, Washington, Cleveland, and Minnesota starting on Wednesday. The streaming option to roster out of this situation would be Max Strus as he'll remain in the starting lineup. Outside of him, Gabe Vincent could get some extra minutes as well off of the bench.

Mon Nov 14 202217:55Tyler Herro To Sit Out On Monday
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns. The 22-year-old continues to deal with a left ankle sprain that will cost him out for at least one more game. Max Strus should remain in the starting five while Herro is sidelined. Strus has been a top-30 player in 9-cat formats over the last week. He has been playing extremely well in the absence of Herro.

Fri Nov 11 202223:11Tyler Herro Questionable Against Charlotte
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) is considered questionable for Saturday's meeting with Charlotte, the second of consecutive matchups between the clubs. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year has already missed two games due to a sprained left ankle, so the team is hoping to get him back out there. However, if Herro sits again, Max Strus will likely take his place in the lineup. Strus scored 12 points during Thursday's game versus the Hornets, although Gabe Vincent and Duncan Robinson combined for 26 points off the bench. All three can be hit-or-miss fantasy options if Herro remains out. On the other hand, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are the clear-cut favorites to benefit the most.

Thu Nov 10 202218:42Tyler Herro Misses Another Game Thursday
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) hasn't been able to get healthy enough to play and will miss his second consecutive game Thursday versus Charlotte. He was regarded as questionable for the game at first, but ankle sprains are no joke and it's best to take time to fully heal. Herro's absence opens up minutes on the backcourt for Max Strus and Gabe Vincent. Caleb Martin (quadriceps) has shaken off a questionable tag and will play, and he could benefit from Herro's absence as well.

Thu Nov 10 202215:08Tyler Herro Questionable Thursday
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's clash with Charlotte. He is carrying a sprained left ankle and already missed one game at the start of the week against Portland. Miami ended up using an eight-man rotation for the game and there were multiple players eating up heavy minutes, with even Gabe Vincent and Duncan Robinson combining for 65 minutes off the bench. With Caleb Martin (quadriceps) also on the injury report ahead of Thursday's action, Miami's bench guys could be asked to do even more heavy lifting versus the Hornets.

Mon Nov 7 202218:26Tyler Herro Won't Play Versus Portland
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) won't play on Monday night against Portland. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year has a sprained left ankle, so Max Strus is the favorite to take his place in the lineup. Strus has averaged 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in his three starts this season, giving him upside for DFS managers looking for value. However, Herro's absence likely means Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler will get more chances to produce on the offensive end.

Mon Nov 7 202208:51Tyler Herro Questionable For Monday's Contest
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) is questionable for Monday's meeting with Portland. He is troubled by a left ankle sprain and could miss his first game of the season. The 22-year-old sharpshooter suffered an eye injury in last Tuesday's win over Golden State and had to exit early, but Herro has had no trouble performing well after that, logging 38 minutes on both outings since then and scoring 55 points. He is averaging close to 20 points for the season with some solid rebounding numbers and a few assists. Gabe Vincent should benefit the most if Herro is unable to go Monday. He has struggled for most of the season, but Vincent has shown some signs of life in recent games, and getting more minutes might be just what he needs to rebuild his confidence.

Mon Oct 3 202223:08Tyler Herro Agrees To Four-Year Extension With Miami
Miami Heat guard/forward Tyler Herro agreed to a four-year contract extension with the team. Per club policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 22-year-old had the best season of his career in 2021-22. He finished the year by averaging 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and shot 39.9% from deep while earning Sixth Man of the Year honors. There were rumblings he would traded during the offseason. However, nothing came of it. Although Herro would see similar minutes off the bench, he may enter the starting lineup this season. Either way, the former Kentucky Wildcat should continue to offer efficient shooting percentages to category managers. Yet, his inability to stay healthy has been a problem.

Sun Aug 21 202218:44Tyler Herro May Enter The Starting Lineup This Year
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro may enter the starting lineup this season, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. The 22-year-old still isn't a lock to remain with the team heading into the 2022-23 campaign. However, if he does, it appears he'll get his wish and not come off the bench. Herro was fantastic last season, which included being named Sixth Man of the Year. He's also eligible for an extension, although the Heat will likely continue to delay putting pen to paper, especially with Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell remaining on the trade market.

Tue Aug 16 202222:36Tyler Herro Not Concerned With Trade Rumors
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro isn't concerned about being traded, a sentiment he echoed to reporters while appearing for his foundation. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year is projected to make $5.7 million this season in the final year of his rookie deal. He is eligible to sign a lucrative extension. However, doing so would make it challenging to trade him before the 2023 offseason. The 22-year-old is coming off a fantastic season, averaging a career-high 20.7 points while adding 5.0 boards, 4.0 assists, and shooting 39.9% from deep. Herro needs to improve on the defensive side of the ball. He also hasn't played more than 66 games in any of his three seasons, which may continue to be an issue for all fantasy managers heading into the 2022-23 campaign, no matter where he is playing.

Sun Aug 7 202219:37Tyler Herro Not A Lock To Stay In Miami
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro isn't a lock to remain with the team moving ahead, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. With Miami still in the market to make an offseason move, the reigning Sixth Man of the Year would certainly sweeten any deal for a superstar. The 22-year-old is coming off the best season of his career, finishing the 2021-22 campaign by averaging 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while netting 39.9% of his tries from downtown. His defensive acumen has been criticized heavily, and he's also missed plenty of time with injuries over the years. However, Herro is a proven producer on the offensive end and is capable of being a regular option for fantasy managers, regardless if he works his way into the starting rotation or continues to come off the bench.

Mon Jul 18 202211:33Tyler Herro Unlikely To Get Extension
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro could very well become a restricted free agent next summer. The organization is currently not discussing a current extension with Herro. The two sides have until opening night to agree on a new contract. The Heat are most likely holding off on an extension in case of a possible trade. Both Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell could be options for the Heat this summer. That being said, Herro would likely be part of the trade for either Durant or Mitchell. The fact they aren't discussing an extension with Herro means they likely aren't done making moves.

Thu Jul 14 202220:45Jazz Express Interest In Tyler Herro
While the New York Knicks have emerged as the front-runners to land star Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, there's a chance the Miami Heat could offer a more enticing package. According to Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune, the Jazz front office has expressed interest in acquiring Heat guard Tyler Herro in a deal for Mitchell. Larsen went even further by saying that at least one person in the Jazz front office would rather acquire Herro in a deal than RJ Barrett, who has been one of the main players discussed in a trade with the Knicks. We're still very much in the thick of the rumor phase in regards to a Mitchell deal. It's also unclear at this point whether the Heat would be willing to part with Herro, who at just 22 years old has already established himself as a key contributor for the Heat.

Mon Jun 6 202220:09Tyler Herro Must Earn Starting Spot
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro recently mentioned that he wants to be a starter next season. That isn't shocking considering Herro averaged over 20 points per game and won Sixth Man of the Year. Heat general manager Pat Riley said that Herro will need to come into training camp and win the starting spot. Last season, Herro played 32.6 minutes per game, so a move to a starting five wouldn't increase his playing time too much. It's unlikely his fantasy value would change much with a move to the starting five.

Sun Jun 5 202201:42Tyler Herro Wants To Start Next Season
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro wants to start next season. "I would like to start," Herro commented during a recent media session, "I've earned it, and we'll see what happens." The 22-year-old is coming off his best year as a pro, finishing the 2021-22 campaign by averaging 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. He also shot 39.9% from deep and was named the Sixth Man of the Year. Nonetheless, even coming off the bench, Herro's production was unrivaled by most, so he should continue making a difference for fantasy managers during the season, regardless of his role. His accurate shooting percentages make him even more attractive for category participants.
