Mon Jan 3 202218:19Alperen Sengun To Miss Next Three Games
Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (ankle) is expected to miss the next three games. That is not good news with Christian Wood (suspension) and Usman Garuba (COVID-19) unavailable on Monday. That means, Daniel Theis, Jae'Sean Tate and Kenyon Martin Jr. will be asked to play significant minutes. Tate has the most upside out of the three and is worth a look as a streaming option with the Rockets shorthanded. Fantasy managers should hold Sengun through the injury. His upside outweighs him missing a few games.

Sat Jan 1 202217:42Alperen Sengun Won't Play Against Nuggets
Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets. He was forced to exit early during Friday's game due to a right ankle sprain. The Rockets will unsurprisingly have their young center sit out the second leg of the back-to-back set. His next chance to get back on the court would be Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Both Kenyon Martin Jr. and Daniel Theis should see increased roles with Sengun sidelined. However, neither are great fantasy options. Martin does have some low-end streaming appeal.

Mon Nov 15 202108:14Alperen Sengun Bags A Double-Double
Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun recorded his first career double-double in Sunday's blowout loss against the Suns, notching 10 points and 10 rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench. He shot 4-for-6 from the floor and was 2-for-3 at the line, while also registering four assists with one block and two turnovers. The 19-year-old rookie has averaged barely over 19 minutes a night, but he's still filled the stat sheet nicely with 9.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.6 blocks and 1.4 steals. The Rockets are going nowhere and have taken 11 straight losses, which means that Sengun has a good chance to get a bigger role at some point in the season and he could then end up with plenty of juicy fantasy lines.

Thu Nov 11 202114:22Alperen Sengun Questionable For Friday
Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (illness) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. It sounds like the rookie center is in danger of missing his second game in a row due to a non-COVID related illness. However, this is a minor issue, so fantasy managers will want to hold onto Sengun. In the meantime, Daniel Theis would likely be asked to play more, assuming Sengun sits out. Theis could have some DFS appeal, assuming he is given extended run on Friday.
