There is also the potential for power sometime down the road, as his 6-foot/195-pound frame and plus bat speed should translate into 10-15 homer pop.

Difo was a surprise call-up from Double-A on Tuesday, and while his future is extremely bright as someone the Nationals can build around up the middle, he is expected to only serve as short-term infield depth in this stay with the big-league club.
