Wed Jun 23 201010:08Huff 'would love' to return to Giants
Aubrey Huff said he "would love" to return to the Giants next season.
And why wouldn't he? Huff is enjoying quite the resurgence in the Bay Area, batting .311/.401/.549 with 12 homers and 37 RBI over his first 67 games this season. He's been quite a bargain at $3 million, but it would obviously take significantly more to keep him should he continue to play at this level.

Sun Jun 20 201017:10Huff homers, scores three times in win
Aubrey Huff homered again and scored three runs as the Giants beat the Blue Jays 9-6 on Sunday.
Huff hit a solo homer in the third inning and would also come around to score on a single and a walk. The homer is Huff's 12th of the season, six of which have come in June. Since Huff has had some rather impressive years in the past, he's not necessarily someone that should be written off and considered a sell-high candidate.
Wed Jun 16 201018:54Huff homers as Giants beat Orioles
Facing his former team, Aubrey Huff went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and three runs scored as the Giants topped the Orioles 6-3 on Wednesday.
The homer was the 52nd "splash hit" at AT&T Park, and it wasn't even close, plopping down about 15 feet into the bay. Juan Uribe immediately followed with a homer of his own to left field. The two blasts gave the Giants a 4-2 lead in the sixth and made a winner of Tim Lincecum, who left with a shoulder contusion after the sixth. Huff is hitting .347 with five homers and 13 RBI in 14 games this month. He's been one of the NL's best hitters for about six weeks now.
Sun Jun 13 201019:00Huff hits a pair of homers in Giants' win
Aubrey Huff homered twice to drive in four runs against the Athletics on Sunday.
It must be one of those good Aubrey Huff years. Huff was superb in 2008 with 32 homers and a .306 average, then struggled with both the Orioles and Tigers last season. Now he's hitting .303 with 12 homers and the best K/BB rate of his career (25/31). He's worth using in all formats at the moment.
Tue May 25 201019:47Sandoval starting at first base; Huff in left
Aubrey Huff will make his first start of the season in left field against the Nationals on Tuesday night.
The Giants haven't scored a run in 20 innings, so they are trying something new. Pablo Sandoval will make his second start of the year at first base, while Juan Uribe will start at third base. Andres Torres will lead off and play right field, pushing Nate Schierholtz and John Bowker are both on the bench. Edgar Renteria is the new No. 2 hitter.

Sun May 16 201010:07Huff could move away from first if Giants ask
Aubrey Huff is willing to move anywhere the Giants ask him to if they want to play someone else at first base, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's John Shea.
There has been talk about the Giants moving Huff to left and calling up Buster Posey to play first base, which would certainly give them another power bat in their order. Whether or not that happens, there could be an infield shuffle anyway. Freddy Sanchez and Edgar Renteria are both soon to return, which could push Huff to the outfield vacancy left if Mark DeRosa has to go on the disabled list. No matter what the orientation, Huff is willing to help the team. Having an additional eligible position would normally help fantasy owners, but you've probably already got three outfielders better than Huff.

Sat May 1 201000:53Giants' Huff knocks in two in win
Aubrey Huff went 2-for-2 with a two-run double and two walks in Friday's win.
As a response to Huff's early struggles, the Giants have dropped him to the fifth slot in the order and gone back to Bengie Molina batting cleanup. Hopefully, that arrangement won't stick, since it'd leave Huff with far fewer RBI chances.
Wed Apr 14 201017:54Giants' Huff hits inside-the-park homer
Aubrey Huff hit an inside-the-park homer Wednesday in the victory over the Pirates.
The blast would have been a legitimate homer in most parks. At AT&T Field, it bounced off the brick wall in right-center and caromed back to the right, while the right fielder's momentum was still carrying him towards center. Second baseman Akinori Iwamura was the first man on the scene to retrieve it, and Huff was able to chug all of the way around the bases without a play at the plate.
Tue Apr 6 201022:49Huff helps Giants top Astros on Tuesday
Aubrey Huff was 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 3-0 win over the Astros on Tuesday night.
Huff's big spring brought hope that he would bounce back from last season's disappointing .241 average and 15 homers in 150 games. That remains to be seen, although San Francisco's new cleanup hitter did his part in Tuesday's quick pitcher's duel.
