Blue Jays and RHP Casey Janssen avoided arbitration Monday by agreeing to a one-year, $1,095,000 contract. | ||||||
Janssen was arbitration-eligible for the second time this winter. The 29-year-old right-hander earned $700,000 last season while compiling a 3.67 ERA and 63/23 K/BB ratio over 68 2/3 innings. He has shown to be a solid bullpen arm, when healthy. | ||||||
