Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez kept his strong second half going on Tuesday by slugging his first career grand slam in the team's 7-2 win over the Angels. The 413' foot shot to left field blew the game wide open for his 18th bomb and 77th RBI of the season as he finished the game going 2-for-5. Hernandez is leading the AL in RBI with 29 so far in the second half to go along with seven homers, 19 runs, and a .330 BA in 26 games after receiving his first ever All-Star selection. Managers should continue to expect stellar numbers the rest of the way as he looks more dangerous than ever locked into the middle of the Jays batting order.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez had a pair of strong games in the team's doubleheader against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday. In total, he went 4-for-7 with two RBI and two runs scored. Hernandez has been fantastic so far in August. Over 10 games this month, he's slashing .405/.436/.514 with one home run, 10 RBI and seven runs. He has a 115.7 mph max exit velocity on the year, which ranks in the 97th percentile. He also ranks in the 90th percentile in both xBA (.284) and xSLG (.520).

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez had a terrific night at the dish on Thursday, going. 3-for-5 as his team went on to steamroll past the Red Sox 13-1. The right-handed swinger got the scoring started for his club in the first inning with a bases-loaded double to right field to cash a pair before adding an RBI single later in the contest. Hernandez continues to hit a high clip this season (.295 BA) with 15 HR, 62 RBI, 44 runs, and seven thefts in 80 games as an integral part of the middle of the order. George Springer, Trevor Bauer and Francisco Lindor are wearing blue now. Springer received the biggest contract in the offseason from the Toronto Blue Jays.
