Tim Brown of Yahoo.com reports that the Giants are expected to look at free agent Willie Bloomquist if he doesn't re-sign with the Diamondbacks.
Bloomquist will turn 34 later this month, so he's right up Giants general manager Brian Sabean's alley. Agent Scott Boras said recently that his client is drawing "a lot of interest" around the league, so the Giants could have some competition. That's assuming, of course, that Boras is telling the truth, which is no sure thing.
