Burnett has a 4.39 ERA and 30/16 K/BB ratio in 35 relief appearances with the Twins this season. He's nothing special, but we're surprised the Twins waited this long to add some extra arms to their bullpen in the first place. |

Just two days after being sent back to Triple-A, Burnett returns to fill the spot vacated by Jose Mijares' stint on the 15-day disabled list. Ron Mahay will pitch in Mijares' stead, but with Pat Neshek also hurting, Burnett could find himself called into service. |

Burnett found his way onto the Twins' Opening Day roster thanks to Joe Nathan's Tommy John surgery. The 22-year-old threw 2 1/3 scoreless innings during his time in the bigs and could be back if there's another injury on the staff. He had a 1.85 ERA and 0.87 WHIP in the minors last season. |
