Jimmy Rollins singled twice in four plate appearances and stole a base in Wednesday's loss to the Marlins.
It was another quiet offensive night for the Phillies, as Rollins had two of his club's five hits, all singles. Rollins hasn't hit for much power lately, but he's still getting on base and stealing bases. He's slashing .252/.332/.387 with six home runs, 38 RBI, and 15 stolen bases on the season.

Sat Jun 21 201400:52Rollins knocks in two vs Cards
Jimmy Rollins went 1-for-4 with an RBI double on Friday.
Rollins knocked in starter A.J. Burnett, of all people, with his grounds rule double in the fifth. That hit put the Phillies up 2-1, which was all Burnett needed to secure the victory. Rollins is batting .246/.336/.394 on the season, though June has been a bit of a struggle for him. He's hitting .227/.282/.364 on the month.

Sat Jun 14 201421:41Jimmy Rollins may give up his no-trade rights
Jimmy Rollins told reporters Saturday that he may be open to giving up his no-trade rights this summer.
Rollins said in March that he didn't want to go anywhere, but the Phillies are at the bottom of the National League East standings and could go into firesale mode ahead of the July 31 trade deadline. "It really depends if everything is blown up," the veteran shortstop said Saturday. "Then you take that into consideration. If they blow everything up, then of course." Rollins passed Mike Schmidt for first place on the Phillies' all-time hit list Saturday.

Fri Jun 13 201422:08Rollins ties Schmidt on Phillies hit list
With his leadoff double in the ninth inning of Friday's loss to the Cubs, Jimmy Rollins tied Mike Schmidt atop the Phillies all-time hit list with 2,234.
He finished the night 1-for-4 and scored the Phillies lone run in the contest. The 35-year-old shortstop is having a productive season at the plate, slashing .249/.346/.405 with eight homers, 26 RBI and 10 stolen bases.

Wed Jun 11 201422:09Rollins singles, swipes two bases in win
Jimmy Rollins went 1-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases in Wednesday's win over the Padres.
Rollins has hit safely in six consecutive games now as he inches closer to the Phillies' all-time hit record, currently held by Mike Schmidt at 2,234. The pair of stolen bases gives him 10 on the season in 12 attempts, and he owns a .248/.345/.404 slash line.

Fri Jun 6 201423:01Rollins homers in win over Reds
Jimmy Rollins hit a solo homer, drew a walk, and scored two runs Friday night against the Reds.
It was his seventh home run of the season and his first since May 20. Rollins got off to a great start this season, but his average has tumbled 28 points (from .276 to .248) over his last 14 games. On the bright side, he continues to show surprising patience. The 35-year-old has already walked 33 times in 56 games. He has never walked more than 62 times in a season during his career.

Thu Jun 5 201400:16Rollins finishes 0-for-5 in loss to the Nats
Jimmy Rollins went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts as the Phillies fell to the Nationals 8-4 on Wednesday.
The golden sombrero was the first in his 15-year career spanning 2,006 games. Rollins, like many Phillies, hasn't had much success at the plate lately. Since May 25, he had a .447 OPS in 45 plate appearances dating back to May 25. The shortstop has been drawing plenty of walks, but otherwise hasn't had much to write home about on the season, slashing .246/.347/.386. One wonders if he would be willing waive his 10-and-5 rights to be traded to a contending team once he acquires nine more hits to surpass Mike Schmidt for the most career hits in Phillies history.

Thu May 8 201421:07Rollins' (groin) return to SS unclear
Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg is not sure Jimmy Rollins (groin) will be ready to play shortstop this weekend.
Rollins started a second straight game at designated hitter Thursday but has not started at shortstop since Sunday. The Phillies are playing the Mets this weekend, so obviously the DH spot won't be available. "We'll see," Sandberg said about Rollins being ready for shortstop this weekend. "It's day to day with how he's doing. He felt good about [a pregame workout Wednesday]. Good progress with that. I think that keeps it a day to day thing, though, so that's positive."

Fri Apr 11 201422:57Rollins has two hits, SB, in win over Marlins
Jimmy Rollins went 2-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base, and a run scored Friday against the Marlins.
Rollins filled up the box score Friday, notching his first triple of the season and his second stolen base along the way. The 35-year-old is clearly on the downside of his career, but he should still provide enough pop and speed to have value in most mixed leagues.
