Tue Apr 12 2011 | 02:00 | Jays' Camp gives up two runs, blows save |
Given the chance to go for the save, Shawn Camp gave up two runs in the ninth inning Monday to take a loss to the Mariners. |
Camp bailed the Jays out of an eighth-inning jam, but he couldn't get the job done in the ninth. Manager John Farrell's decision to walk Ichiro Suzuki with two outs in the inning and the tying run on third will be heavily debated after this one. Ichiro stole second and came around to score on Luis Rodriguez's game-winning double. The Jays will probably go back to Jon Rauch for their next save chance. |
