Over his last 30 games, Thomas is slashing .313/.402/.530 with 26 runs scored. He needs to be rostered for as long as he's hot, and he'll continue to be an excellent source of runs batting atop the Washington lineup in front of Juan Soto and Josh Bell.

The Nationals have noticed and Thomas has batted leadoff five games in a row which provides a slight boost to his fantasy value. Thomas remains a deep league option only, but those in OBP leagues or fantasy managers chasing runs scored can do worse than grabbing a high OBP hitter batting ahead of Juan Soto.

He's not worth an add for now, but he could become a factor in deeper leagues if he holds onto the leadoff spot the rest of the season.
