Edward Mujica pitched a scoreless ninth for a save Thursday against the Marlins. |
Heath Bell had worked three straight days, so he was unavailable today regardless. Of course, Bell has been terrible, so the opportunity could be there for Mujica to pick up more saves. We prefer both Steve Cishek and Ryan Webb as pitchers, but it doesn't much matter what we think, now does it? Webb, for what it's worth, pitched a scoreless eighth to set up Mujica today. Cishek had the day off after throwing two scoreless innings Wednesday. |
