Sat Aug 14 202122:09Max Fried Makes Easy Work Of Nationals
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried had little issues with the Washington Nationals lineup on Saturday. He went six innings, allowed five hits, one earned run, and struck out seven in the 12-2 victory. The 27-year-old had a rough start to the season, but has looked sharp over the last few months. In fact, Fried has a 3.08 ERA over his last 15 games with a 1.17 WHIP over 87 2/3 innings. He is set to take the mound against the Baltimore Orioles in his next start. Fried is looking like a reliable streaming choice and DFS option for that matchup against the shaky O's lineup.

Mon Aug 9 202111:00Max Fried Tosses One-Run Outing On Sunday
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried continued his successful season against the Washington Nationals on Sunday. He went six innings, seven hits allowed, one earned run, one walk, and five strikeouts in the 5-4 victory. Fried gave up quite a few hits, but was able to work himself out of trouble. He'll carry a 3.91 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 106/34 K/BB into a rematch outing versus the Nationals. Fried will remain a strong DFS option for that one and should be rostered in all fantasy formats right now.

This was a nice bounce back outing after his rough game versus the Philadelphia Phillies last Friday. Fried has improved his ERA to 4.05 with 94 strikeouts in 91 innings. He'll get a favorable matchup against the rebuilding Washington Nationals this next time out.

Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried didn't make too many mistakes during Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. He tossed seven innings, five hits allowed, two earned runs, two walks, and nine strikeouts. Infielder Brandon Drury was the difference maker in this one with a solo home run in the seventh inning off Fried. Despite the loss, Fried looked sharp throughout most of this outing. He'll certainly be a worthy streaming option going forward.
