Matt Lindstrom left Friday's game against the Indians in the bottom of the eighth inning after being hit in the left knee with a comebacker off the bat of Johnny Damon.
Lindstrom allowed two hits over an inning of work before being replace by Kevin Gregg. The severity of the injury isn't yet clear.

Orioles activated RHP Matt Lindstrom from the 15-day disabled list.
Lindstom ended up missing a month and a half with a ligament tear in his right middle finger. The veteran right-hander returns to a 1.29 ERA and 14/4 K/BB ratio over 14 innings this season. He'll continue to pitch in a set-up capacity for closer Jim Johnson.

Matt Lindstrom (finger) allowed three runs -- one earned -- on three hits and one walk in 1 1/3 innings in a rehab appearance Friday at Double-A Bowie.
He threw 32 pitches, 18 for strikes. It was Lindstrom's third appearance since being placed on the disabled list with a ligament tear in his right middle finger. He is scheduled to continue his rehab Sunday, and should rejoin the Orioles by the end of the month.

Matt Lindstrom (finger) is scheduled to continue his rehab assignment with Double-A Bowie on Friday.
Lindstrom tossed a scoreless inning Monday with the Gulf Coast League Orioles and is scheduled to make another appearance with the club Wednesday. Barring any setbacks with his finger, he should be back in the Orioles' bullpen by the end of the month.

Matt Lindstrom (finger) has progressed to throwing from 60 to 90 feet.
Lindstrom is gradually increasing his throwing program after suffering a partial tear of a ligament in his right middle finger earlier this month. Barring any setbacks, he should make his way back to the O's bullpen in mid-June.

Orioles placed RHP Matt Lindstrom on the 15-day disabled list with a strained ligament in his right middle finger.
As expected. The exact nature of the injury isn't yet known, but the Orioles are no doubt hoping he'll be ready to return as soon as he's eligible. Lindstrom, who was acquired from the Rockies in the Jeremy Guthrie deal, has a solid 1.29 ERA and 14/4 K/BB ratio over 14 innings this season.

Matt Lindstrom (hamstring) proclaimed himself good to go after an appearance in a minor league game Sunday.
Lindstrom said he didn't feel anything in his right leg during the appearance. He was pitching in a minor league game just in case the Orioles needed to backdate a DL move, but it's safe to assume he'll be fine for Opening Day.

The Orioles don't think the reliever's tweaked hamstring is a big deal, but they're moving him to the minor league fields so that they can backdate a DL move, if needed. Lindstrom will help set up for the O's when he's healthy.

Lindstrom has been sidelined for a few days due to mild discomfort in his lower back. The Orioles are simply playing it safe with the righty here in early March. He should pitch in a game Wednesday or Thursday.

Orioles acquired RHP Matt Lindstrom and RHP Jason Hammel from the Rockies for RHP Jeremy Guthrie.
The trade was finalized early Monday morning. Lindstorm registered a cool 3.00 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 54 innings last season for Colorado and will presumably grab a setup spot in the Baltimore bullpen behind closer Jim Johnson. The 31-year-old is owed $3.6 million this year and carries a $4 million club option for 2013.

Matt Lindstrom (arm) will begin a rehab assignment Monday with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
It was reported previously that Lindstrom could be activated from the DL on Sunday, the first day he's eligible, but obviously that won't happen. He'll make an additional rehab appearance Wednesday before possibly being activated by next weekend.

Matt Lindstrom (arm) is likely to be activated from the disabled list on Sunday, the first day he's eligible.
Lindstrom has been playing catch without any issues and will throw a bullpen session Saturday before being activated the next day if the session goes well. He's been out since the beginning of the month with a nerve injury in his right arm.
