Mark Buehrle struggled in Saturday's loss to the Mets, allowing four runs on five hits over his six frames.
He walked three and struck out three on the afternoon. Most of the damage against him came via the long ball, with Jason Bay launching a two-run homer in the second, and Scott Hairston adding a solo shot in the fourth. Buehrle will take a 13-13 record and respectable 3.84 ERA into Saturday's home match-up with the Phillies.

Mark Buehrle pitched decently in Saturday's win over the Reds, allowing four runs on seven hits over 7 2/3 innings.
He racked up seven strikeouts on the night without walking a batter. A two-run blast by Ryan Ludwick in the eighth inning spoiled what would have been a stellar performance for the veteran left-hander. He'll take a very respectable 13-12 record, 3.78 ERA and 114/37 K/BB ratio into his next outing against the Mets in New York on Saturday.

Mark Buehrle gave up three runs in seven innings Saturday as part of a no-decision against the Nationals.
Buehrle allowed five hits (including a pair of homers) while walking two (one intentional) and striking out five. The veteran southpaw has allowed 23 home runs in 180 2/3 innings this season, his most since 2009. He was actually in line for the victory until Heath Bell blew the save in the bottom of the ninth. Buehrle will look for win No. 13 again next week against the Reds.

Mark Buehrle was hit hard in a losing effort against the Mets on Sunday, surrendering five runs on six hits over his seven innings of work.
He walked one and struck out three on the afternoon. All of the damage came in the very first inning, where David Wright plated a run with an RBI groundout, and Jason Bay belted a grand slam. Buehrle was able to settle in nicely and cruised through the next six innings, but the damage had already been done. He'll take a 12-12 record, 3.73 ERA and 102/35 K/BB ratio into Friday's start against the Nationals in Washington.

Mark Buehrle allowed one run on six hits in 5 2/3 innings Sunday, improving to 12-11 in Miami's 6-2 win over the Dodgers.
He struck out four and walked three. Buehrle came within one out of his third straight quality start, but was pulled after allowing a two-out single to Juan Uribe. He threw 111 pitches, just 65 of which went for strikes. He'll close the book on August with a 3.69 ERA in 31 2/3 innings. He'll bring a 3.62 overall mark into his weekend start against the Mets in Miami.

Buehrle had been stuck on nine wins for a month. This makes 12 straight 10-win seasons for Buehrle, but at 10-11, he could finish with a losing record for just the second time in his career.

Buehrle has a 9-10 record, 3.70 ERA and 83/29 K/BB ratio this season. He'll look to keep things rolling when he squares off against the Dodgers at home on Friday night.

Mark Buehrle struggled Tuesday in a no-decision against the Braves, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits over his five innings of work.
Buehrle also walked four. The Braves got to him without the benefit of a run-scoring hit, using a pair of sacrifice flys and a bases-loaded walk. While many of the Marlins' key free-agent acquisitions have struggled this season, Buehrle has pitched fairly well, compiling a 9-9 record, 3.31 ERA and 78/23 K/BB ratio over his 130 2/3 innings. He'll look to get back in the win column when he squares off against the Braves in Atlanta on Monday.

After failing to strike out more than five hitters in any of his first 14 starts, Buehrle has now punched out at least seven in each of his last four outings. He's enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, currently working with a 9-8 record, 3.18 ERA and 73/18 K/BB ratio. He'll look to continue his recent trend of dominance when he takes on the Cubs in Chicago on Thursday.

Buehrle walked one and struck out three on the night. While his record looks unimpressive at 5-6, his ERA is solid at 3.49 and he's keeping the Marlins in the game every time he takes the ball. While he'll never be confused for a strikeout artist, he has punched out 39 on the season and remains a solid back of the rotation arm in most formats. He'll try again to even his record at 6-6 when he battles against the Red Sox at home on Tuesday.

Buehrle struck out three, walked none and scattered eight hits. He threw 69 of his 100 pitches for strikes and has now won four straight decisions. We know the upside is capped by Buehrle's lack of strikeout ability, but there's durable reliability here. He gets the depleted Phillies next.

Mark Buehrle settled in after a rough first inning to pick up his fourth win Monday, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks over 7 2/3 frames in a 7-4 victory over the Rockies.
Buehrle allowed all four runs and four of his five hits in the first inning but found his groove after that. He struck out just two and has only 31 punchouts over 61 2/3 innings this season, but he's posted a 3.36 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. Buehrle gets the Giants this weekend.

Buehrle scattered seven hits while walking a pair and striking out five. He also hit a batter. The veteran southpaw will never be a good source for strikeouts, but he still has fantastic control and has tossed 200 innings or more in 11 consecutive seasons. The Marlins' new ballpark appears to be pretty favorable for pitchers, so he should have value in mixed leagues once again.
