Paulino wasn't sharp. He walked five, gave up two homers and was forced to throw 109 pitches. It's a concern as control issues have capped the 28-year-old's reliability through the year. On the bright side, he does have 34 strikeouts in 31 innings on the season and gets the A's next.

With his dominating stuff, he's well worthy of a flyer in most mixed leagues. He'll try to find some consistency and get back in the win column when he takes on the Orioles on Wednesday.
