Felipe Paulino allowed two runs on six hits and two walks in five innings on Wednesday, taking a no-decision in Knasas City's 6-3 loss to the Tigers.

Paulino struck out eight in just his second non-quality start in five outings. A pleasant surprise since coming over from the Rockies in late May, Paulino is the owner of a 4.17 ERA and 110/46 K/BB ratio in 118 2/3 innings of work as a Royal, and will get the Twins in Minnesota for his final start of the season on Tuesday.

Paulino was horrid for the Rockies this season, posting a 7.36 ERA and 2.05 WHIP in 14 2/3 innings out of the bullpen, but was acceptable in a starting role for the Astros in 2010. He's not currently worth a look in AL-only leagues, however.
