Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Tyler Wells pitched well in a tough matchup Thursday, earning his fourth win of the season against the potent Toronto Blue Jays offense. Wells allowed just one run on five hits and a walk with three strikeouts in six innings. Previously seen as a potential closer, Wells has adapted well to the starting rotation, providing a 3.62 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in 13 starts. He only has 36 strikeouts in 59 2/3 innings, a fact which severely limits his fantasy upside, but fantasy managers could do worse than to plug Wells in for favorable matchups.
