Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star reports that the Phillies, Red Sox and Yankees have expressed interest in Royals utilityman Willie Bloomquist.
Bloomquist is finishing up a two-year contract that was signed back in 2008 and is only owed about $850,000 for the rest of the season. The 32-year-old hasn't done much at the plate this year, as seen by his .243/.288/.392 batting line, but he does play just about every position.

Sat Jul 3 201002:19Bloomquist's hit leads Royals past Angels
Willie Bloomquist singled in the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th as the Royals beat the Angels 2-1 on Friday.
Score one for Ned Yost, who took a dangerous gamble when he used Bloomquist to run for Billy Butler with the Royals down 1-0 in the top of the ninth. Bloomquist stole second with two outs and then came around to score on a Mike Aviles double, tying the game. He remained in the contest afterwards as the DH, and he came up big, singling in Yuniesky Betancourt after David DeJesus was intentionally walked to get to him.
