Willie Bloomquist doubled home both of the Diamondbacks' runs in the eighth inning of their 5-2, 10-inning loss to the Brewers on Wednesday.

Bloomquist finished his night 1-for-5. The RBI were his first since June 22, and give him 11 on the year. Through his first 181 plate appearances, he is the owner of a .271/.318/.343 triple slash.

Will Bloomquist went 1-for-4 with his ninth stolen base, as the Diamondbacks beat the Brewers 7-3 on Tuesday.

Starting in place of Stephen Drew for the second time in four games, Bloomquist has become a fairly dependable back-up option for Arizona manager Kirk Gibson. In fact, he has hit safely in 10 of his last 13 games.
