Wed Jun 2 201016:49Good news: Doc says no issue w/ OF Cam's abs
Mike Cameron's visit with a specialist Wednesday revealed no issue with his recent bout of abdominal soreness.
"It's a good update," manager Terry Francona said. "They ruled out any thing that happened on the other side. There's certainly some inflammation, but it's kind of neat because I think Cam feels a lot better that when this subsides, which it already is, he can do everything he wants. I think already you can see a little different look in his eyes. So that was really good news." Cameron is out Wednesday and probably won't play on Thursday, either, but he could return for the weekend series in Baltimore. Stay tuned.
