Fri May 7 201013:40D'Backs' Jackson homers in rehab game
In the second game of his rehab assignment, Conor Jackson (hamstring) went 2-for-4 and homered Thursday for Triple-A Reno.
Jackson will play another game for Reno on Friday. Cole Gillespie figures to be sent down to make room for him on the roster, perhaps as soon as Saturday.
Tue May 4 201016:06D'Backs Jackson to begin rehab on Wednesday
Conor Jackson (hamstring) is set to begin a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno on Wednesday.
Jackson was placed on the disabled list on April 19 with a right hamstring strain, but declared himself ready to go after running the bases on Monday. "I want to compete, especially after missing almost all of last year," said Jackson. "I'm ready to get playing again." He is expected to play on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before possibly being activated over the weekend.

Fri Apr 23 201020:33Jackson (hamstring) hopes for speedy return
Conor Jackson (hamstring) believes he can be activated from the disabled list on the first day he is eligible on May 4.
"I feel like I'll be ready to come back after the 15 days for sure," said Jackson, who was placed on the disabled list on Monday with a right hamstring strain. "I think we'll give it another three days of treatment and on Monday maybe start doing some agility stuff. If it feels good I'd like to get out when they're in Chicago and start playing some games, but we haven't talked about it."

Diamondbacks placed OF Conor Jackson on the 15-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain.
He suffered the injury while catching a flyball off the bat of Will Venable against the Padres on Sunday. Jackson was batting .267 (12-for-45) with two RBI to begin the new season.
Fri Apr 16 201001:57D'Backs' Jackson collects three hits
Conor Jackson went 3-for-4 with a walk Thursday against the Dodgers.
It looked like Jackson suffered a potentially serious right knee injury when Russell Martin slid into him at first base in the eighth, but he was able to walk it off and stay in the game. He raised his average from .200 to .265 tonight.
