Jackson was placed on the disabled list on April 19 with a right hamstring strain, but declared himself ready to go after running the bases on Monday. "I want to compete, especially after missing almost all of last year," said Jackson. "I'm ready to get playing again." He is expected to play on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before possibly being activated over the weekend. | ||||||

"I feel like I'll be ready to come back after the 15 days for sure," said Jackson, who was placed on the disabled list on Monday with a right hamstring strain. "I think we'll give it another three days of treatment and on Monday maybe start doing some agility stuff. If it feels good I'd like to get out when they're in Chicago and start playing some games, but we haven't talked about it." | ||||||
