Fri Jun 21 201323:54De Aza hits 10th homer in win over Royals
Alejandro De Aza launched his 10th home run of the season and drew a walk in Friday's win over the Royals.
It was a two-run shot off Bruce Chen. De Aza had nine home runs in 131 games last season, but he has already a established a new career-high through 68 games in 2013. It's a nice bonus for fantasy owners who were mostly counting on him as a speed source.

Mon May 27 201321:58Alejandro De Aza goes hitless in loss
White Sox leadoff man Alejandro De Aza went 0-for-4 in Monday's loss to the Cubs.
It's nice that De Aza already has seven homers, but he also possesses a .285 OBP, making him a pretty lousy leadoff man thus far. The White Sox are happy with his defense, so they're certainly not going to pull him from the lineup, and they don't really have anyone else suited for batting first. As a result, little is likely to change for De Aza.

Fri May 10 201323:50Alejandro De Aza belts seventh homer in loss
Alejandro De Aza continued his impressive power display, smashing his seventh home run of the season in Friday's loss to the Angels.
It marked the second consecutive game that De Aza led off the game with a home run. After his 2-for-5 effort, he's now hitting .252 on the season with seven bombs, 15 RBI and five stolen bases. The 29-year-old outfielder is proving that his breakout 2012 campaign was no fluke, and he's developing into an impact fantasy contributor. While the power is very unlikely to continue at this pace, he's a solid bet to hit 15 homers and steal 20 bases with plenty of runs scored hitting atop the White Sox lineup.

Wed May 8 201322:26De Aza homers, has three hits against Mets
Alejandro De Aza went 3-for-5 with a home run as the White Sox beat the Mets on Wednesday.
De Aza led off the game with his sixth home run of the season and later recorded his fifth stolen base as well. The outfielder is a good bet to reach mid-double digits in both by season's end, and he should score plenty of runs atop the lineup as well. He's a fringe starter in standard mixed leagues but should be owned in the majority.

Wed May 1 201323:23De Aza connects for fifth home run in Sox win
Alejandro De Aza doubled and homered, driving in two runs against the Rangers on Wednesday.
The home run was De Aza's fifth of the year after hitting just nine all of 2012. His primary weapon is his speed -- he's also stolen four bases this season -- so a power surge would be a welcome addition to his skillset. Batting leadoff, De Aza won't drive in a ton of runs, but he looks primed to contribute everywhere else this summer.

Alejandro De Aza launched a solo homer in Sunday's win over the Indians.
It was one of two longballs on the day for the White Sox, as Paul Konerko contributed a two-run shot. De Aza's blast came in the eighth inning off of nasty setup man Vinnie Pestano. The outfielder now has three dingers on the year to go along with a stolen bases and eight RBI.

De Aza is replacing Carlos Gomez, who has decided to remain in Brewers camp all spring. The White Sox center fielder batted .281/.349/.410 with 26 stolen bases in 2012 and should again be a strong fantasy outfielder in 2013.
