Scott Downs is available out of the bullpen against the Orioles on Friday night.

Downs was limited before the All-Star break due to a stiff neck.

In his defense, Downs was put in a really tough spot. He was summoned to the mound with the Jays trailing 3-2 and the bases loaded. Still, it's a bad result for someone trying to vulture saves. It's worth noting that Jason Frasor walked the only batter he faced tonight. It's a messy situation, but right now it looks like Kevin Gregg will eventually get another shot to hold the closing gig.
