Hinrich moved back to his normal role off the bench against the Lakers on Thursday as he only mustered up two points, three rebounds, and one assist in 27 minutes of action.

Hinrich often receives a promotion into the starting lineup when guys like Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler are ruled out, but otherwise Hinrich is a limited player off the bench who needs significant time on the court to become fantasy relevant. In evidence of this, the 33-year-old has never scored more than 12 points or registered over five assists when playing under 28 minutes in any given game this season.

Hinrich will come off the bench against the Lakers on Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Hinrich will move back to the bench following the return of Jimmy Butler, with Nikola Mirotic receiving the start Thursday. It seems highly unlikely he will see close to the 38 minutes he received against Golden State on Tuesday.

He did convert on a clutch three pointer to give Chicago the lead late in the fourth, however. He'll return to the bench when Butler returns, but he still figures to see plenty of playing time.

Hinrich will start at shooting guard Tuesday against the Warriors.

Jimmy Butler is out with an illness, so it will be on Hinrich, along with Aaron Brooks and Nikola Mirotic to take on the extra minutes. Hinrich is a safe but to play significant minutes, but the production will likely be very uninspiring.

Hinrich came off the bench Thursday, scoring just two points in 26 minutes of action. He also added two rebounds and an assist in the contest.

Tony Snell got the start over Hinrich and had a decent performance, posting 12 points and three rebounds. Hinrich's efficiency has been concerning lately, as he's only averaging 5.9 points in 27 minutes over his last 10 games. His value is very low at this point and may remain that way.

Hinrich will come off the bench Thursday against the Spurs, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Coach Tom Thibodeau will instead send out Tony Snell with the starting unit. In 17 games as a reserve this season, Hinrich has averaged a nondescript 5.6 points (on 41 percent shooting), 2.4 assists, 1.8 rebounds, 0.9 three-pointers, and 0.8 steals in 25 minutes.

Hinrich scored eight points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt) to go along with three assists and two steals in 30 minutes Saturday against the Hawks.

Hinrich started again in place of Mike Dunleavy (ankle), but scored less than 10 points for the sixth time in his last seven games. He is a great defender who can knock down three-pointers, but his poor overall production leads him with limited fantasy value.
