Thu Mar 27 2014 | 23:03 | Zaza Pachulia scores 10 in start |
Zaza Pachulia scored 10 points with two boards, two assists and two steals in 21 minutes vs. the Lakers on Thursday. |
John Henson is going to shift to power forward more often and Pachulia should get as many minutes as he can handle at center -- and that might not be much. Of course, the last time this was the case he got hurt, so there is a lot of risk. If you want to pick him up until the wheels fall off, it's not a bad idea. |

Tue Mar 25 2014 | 02:05 | Pachulia posts 14-6-8 line vs. Clippers |
Zaza Pachulia scored 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting with six rebounds, eight assists and a steal in Monday's loss to the Clippers. |
Pachulia isn't a conventional fantasy big man but he has put up low-end value in 12-14 team leagues lately. Give him a look if you need a low-end producer, particularly if you're in need of popcorn stats. |

Wed Mar 19 2014 | 01:20 | Zaza Pachulia fills stat sheet in 37 minutes |
Zaza Pachulia started at center and hit 7-of-14 shots for 17 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and four steals in 37 minutes of Tuesday's overtime loss to the Blazers. |
He played 38 minutes and had eight points, nine boards and three steals on Sunday, making him worth a look if you need a big man. Just don't expect him to block shots, as he has just one of them over his last nine games. |

Sun Mar 16 2014 | 16:03 | Zaza Pachulia plays 38 minutes vs. Bobcats |
Zaza Pachulia played 38 minutes against the Bobcats on Sunday with eight points, nine boards, three assists and three steals. |
he played just 22.0 minutes per game over his previous four games, so he was asked to play a little more today with Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) out and the Bucks sliding John Henson over to the power forward spot more often. Ilyasova doesn't expect to be out long, so Pachulia isn't a strong pickup right now. |

Wed Mar 12 2014 | 00:09 | Zaza Pachulia with career-high 10 assists |
Zaza Pachulia started at center and had nine points, six rebounds and a career-high 10 assists in Tuesday's loss to the Wolves. |
If you had the stones to start Pachulia tonight, it worked out and congratulations are in order. Pachulia is playing fairly well for the Bucks right now, but is averaging just 5.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.2 blocks over his last five games, meaning he's not a guy you have to have in your lineup on most nights. |

Sat Mar 8 2014 | 00:23 | Pachulia posts very low-end popcorn line |
Zaza Pachulia scored six points on 3-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds, four assists and no steals or blocks over 30 minutes on Friday against the Pelicans. |
Pachulia has averaged 6.5 points, 4.8 boards, 3.0 assists and that's just about it over his last four games, but if you're in a deeper format and desperate for a big man he could be worth a look with five games on the slate next week. |

Mon Mar 3 2014 | 23:33 | Pachulia turns in nice outing in blowout win |
Zaza Pachulia scored 14 points on 3-of-4 shooting (8-of-8 FTs) with six rebounds, five assists and a block in Monday's blowout win over the Jazz. |
Pachulia has been terrible lately but if you're desperate for a big man you could do worse than dropping him into your lineup next week when the Bucks have five games. |

Mon Feb 24 2014 | 22:24 | Pachulia posts low end line in easy win |
Zaza Pachulia logged 18 minutes with two points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in Monday's blowout win over the Sixers. |
Owners hoping he would tear the Sixers up on the inside didn't exactly get what they want, but it's hard to shake a stick and the per-minute rebounding and steals numbers. Even with Larry Sanders out, Pachulia is a low-end, high-risk center in fantasy leagues best suited for 14-16 team leagues. |

Thu Feb 20 2014 | 22:58 | Zaza Pachulia looks gassed again in loss |
Zaza Pachulia played 24 minutes in his fourth consecutive start on Thursday, scoring five points with three boards, two assists and four turnovers. |
He looked slow and was a statue in halfcourt sets for the Bucks. Even with the team shorthanded in the past two games, he only played 20.0 minutes per game. The days of playing him 38 minutes like he did back on Feb. 12 probably won't happen any time soon and he'll remain a risky, low-ceiling player in most formats. |

Wed Feb 19 2014 | 01:06 | Zaza Pachulia quiet in win over Magic |
Zaza Pachulia played just 16 minutes, finishing with six points, two rebounds and zero blocks on Tuesday. |
He seemingly hasn't blocked a shot in weeks and didn't get very much playing time from his coach tonight, despite the absence of Larry Sanders. Pachulia probably has some big lines in his future, but it all depends on how Larry Drew is feeling from night to night. If you own him, you might as well hold on, as tonight shouldn't be a typical performance for Pachulia in a lineup sorely lacking a starting center. |

Thu Feb 13 2014 | 00:50 | Zaza Pachulia scores eight points in 38 mins. |
Zaza Pachulia played 38 minutes in the starting lineup on Wednesday with eight points, seven boards and two assists on 3-of-11 shooting. |
The 38 minutes is almost shocking and Larry Drew is really rolling the dice giving the oft-injured big man so much playing time. The Bucks are completely gutted up front and the high playing time is out of necessity more than anything else. With Larry Sanders (orbital) up in the air for an indefinite period of time and John Henson (foot) also hurt, Pachulia is worth a look in standard leagues. |

Mon Feb 10 2014 | 23:46 | Pachulia logs 32 minutes in start for Sanders |
Zaza Pachulia started for Larry Sanders (fractured orbital bone) in the Bucks' 102-86 home loss to the Celtics on Monday, scoring eight points on 3-of-8 shooting (2-of-2 FTs) with eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in 32 minutes. |
If Pachulia can stay healthy while Sanders is out he has a shot at some low-end value in standard leagues with some low-mid round upside if everything goes swimmingly. Sanders' orbital fracture could keep him out anywhere from 1-6 weeks based on similar injuries, but we won't know anything until he is evaluated on Tuesday. Owners should consider that the next two weeks are effectively just one week's worth of action because of the All Star break, and also that Larry Drew's rotations are all over the board. |

Mon Feb 10 2014 | 18:46 | Zaza Pachulia starting at center for Bucks |
Zaza Pachulia will start at center for the Bucks against the Celtics on Monday night. |
It's not a surprise for the Bucks with Zaza playing 29 minutes on Saturday night. The Bucks were playing him way too many minutes back in November -- including a 36-minute game back on Nov. 27 -- and that may have led to him missing almost two months. It's not a bad idea to pick him up, but he's a big injury risk. Miroslav Radulijca and Ekpe Udoh will give the Bucks some frontcourt depth. |

Sun Feb 9 2014 | 00:49 | Zaza Pachulia double-doubles off bench |
Zaza Pachulia came off the bench for 12 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, a steal and zero blocks on 5-of-5 shooting in 29 minutes of Saturday's loss. |
Larry Sanders left tonight's game with blurred vision and Pachulia has actually been playing well, even when Sanders was healthy. Over his last three games, Zaza is averaging 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals for the Bucks, and he could be worth a look in most leagues if Sanders is going to miss time with his eye injury. |

Thu Feb 6 2014 | 02:43 | Zaza Pachulia scores 15 in another loss |
Zaza Pachulia hit just 2-of-6 shots, but also hit 11-of-12 free throws on his way to 15 points, four rebounds and two steals on Wednesday. |
With Larry Sanders playing well and the return of John Henson this was a surprising performance from Pachulia. He had 12 points and seven rebounds on Monday, but we're still not ready to give him a look in anything except the deepest of fantasy leagues. |

Tue Feb 4 2014 | 01:14 | Pachulia plays 18 minutes, scores 12 points |
Zaza Pachulia scored 12 points with seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 18 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Knicks. |
Pachulia hit 4-of-9 shots and all he's going to do is muddy the water in Milwaukee. Owners of Larry Sanders and John Henson have to hope that Larry Drew doesn't turn this into a circus. |

Sat Feb 1 2014 | 23:09 | Zaza Pachulia returns on Saturday night |
Zaza Pachulia returned to action on Saturday with four points, one board, one assist and one steal in 12 minutes. |
He has been out since Dec. 4 with a foot fracture and the Bucks really need him for depth. They had to play Ersan Ilyasova at center in the second quarter on Friday, but Zaza is still behind Larry Sanders and John Henson (hand) once he's able to return. Pachulia has very little fantasy value. |

Sat Feb 1 2014 | 18:40 | Zaza Pachulia (foot) back in action Saturday |
Zaza Pachulia (foot) will return to the Hawks' rotation on Saturday. |
He hasn't played since Dec. 4 and some rust is inevitable, but coach Larry Drew has already said that he's eager to deploy his veteran big man. This can only be viewed as bad news for owners of Larry Sanders, Ersan Ilyasova and John Henson (who is out with a wrist injury), but then again the Bucks' rotations have never been a safe space for fantasy value. |

Fri Jan 31 2014 | 12:12 | Zaza Pachulia won't play on Friday |
Zaza Pachulia (foot) will not play Friday. |
Pachulia has resumed practicing and is nearing a return to the active roster, but isn't quite ready yet. Once in uniform, he's a threat to Larry Drew's ever-changing big-man rotation. |

Fri Jan 31 2014 | 10:06 | Zaza Pachulia practices again Thursday |
Zaza Pachulia (foot) practiced again Thursday. |
Pachulia, who hasn't played since Dec. 4, is on the verge of a return. While he's not a fantasy option, he could very well crimp the upside of both John Henson and Larry Sanders. Pachulia is Larry Drew's buddy from their Atlanta days together, and he was averaging 25.2 minutes per game before going down. |
