Thu Mar 31 201111:40Duhon could be out awhile
Chris Duhon (thumb) will be out for the foreseeable future.
Duhon is getting tests done on his thumb but coach Stan Van Gundy said, "It's not going to be anything where he'll be back soon, that's for sure." Duhon was averaging just 14.7 minutes per game on the season anyway.

Wed Mar 30 201109:33Chris Duhon out on Wednesday
Chris Duhon (thumb) is not expected to play in Wednesday's game against the Hawks.
Duhon injured his thumb during Monday's loss to the Knicks and was unable to finish the game. He won't be reevaluated until the Magic get back to Orlando on Thursday. With Jameer Nelson (knee) already questionable, Gilbert Arenas could be looking at big minutes again tonight.

Sun Mar 13 201118:51Duhon sees major reserve minutes Sunday
In the place of injured guard J.J. Redick (abdomen), Chris Duhon saw 25 minutes of play but only managed to score one point along with four assists and three steals.
It's pretty clear that Duhon isn't an option even if he's given the minutes unless you're only looking for assists and steals.

Tue Dec 14 201013:55Duhon cleared to play
Chris Duhon (back) has been cleared to play against the Nuggets Tuesday night.
Duhon has a troublesome back that often gives him problems. The good news is that the Magic have one of the better No. 3 point guards in the league in Jason Williams. Regardless, it looks like Duhon will be fine for his usual 20 minutes tonight.

Mon Dec 13 201020:39Duhon unlikely for Tuesday's game (back)
Chris Duhon (back) is unlikely to play in Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, with Jason Williams ready to take him place as backup PG if he can't go.
In other irrelevant fantasy news, Mickael Pietrus is dealing with a knee injury but he will be available to play.

Sun Dec 12 201020:40Chris Duhon (back) out Sunday
As expected, Chris Duhon will miss Sunday's game with a strained lower back.
Duhon has made a few spot starts when Jameer Nelson was sidelined, but he hasn't been worth owning in fantasyland. Jason Williams will move into the backup PG role for Orlando until Duhon, who is day-to-day, gets back on the court.

Sun Dec 12 201015:41Chris Duhon out Sunday with stiff back
Chris Duhon isn't likely to play on Sunday due to a stiff back.
This has no fantasy ramifications but it does mean Jason Williams will get the back up minutes today.

Sun Dec 5 201000:58Duhon still sucks despite start for Nelson
Chris Duhon scored nine points in his start for Jameer Nelson (flu) on Saturday, hitting 4-of-7 shots from the field (including a three) with one rebound and one assist in 31 minutes.
Clearly, if he cannot produce when he gets good minutes in a spot start, then he has no place near your fantasy lineup.
Mon Nov 8 201023:42Duhon doesn't do much in start on Monday
Chris Duhon continued to start for injured Jameer Nelson (ankle) on Monday, but didn't do much with just four points on 1-of-3 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes.
Nelson looks doubtful for Wednesday's game, and Stan Van Gundy said a more realistic return will be on Friday. It doesn't really matter though, and Jason Williams was actually better on Monday with eight points, eight rebounds, two treys, and two steals, as neither are good fantasy options.
Sat Nov 6 201021:36Duhon starts for injured Nelson (ankle)
Chris Duhon started for injured Chris Duhon (ankle) on Saturday, scoring four points on 2-of-6 shooting with three rebounds, nine assists, one steal, and one block in 34 minutes.
These are the type of numbers you can expect if Nelson misses any more time, which at this point is a question mark. If you're in a deeper league, give him a look.
Thu Oct 14 201023:15Duhon puts up quiet line as starter
Chris Duhon, along with the entire second unit, started in Thursday's preseason game against the Bobcats, and managed five points on 2-of-6 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds and six assists.
He proved that he could run the offense, turning the ball over just twice, but this is what owners could expect if he had to take over the team. In other words, not much.
Thu Jul 8 201014:20Magic officially sign Chris Duhon
The Magic officially signed point guard Chris Duhon on Thursday.
He'll back up Jameer Nelson, but would only have fantasy value if Nelson were to go down with an injury.
Tue Jul 6 201009:44Magic sign Duhon to four-year deal
The Magic signed point guard Chris Duhon to a four-year, $15 million contract on Tuesday.
Duhon had three or four great months with the Knicks a couple years ago, but broke down after they ran him into the ground. He's clearly not cut out to be a full-time starting point guard, but has proven to be a solid backup. He won't be worth drafting for your fantasy team this year, but as soon as Jameer Nelson goes down, he'll likely become a must-own player.

Sat Apr 10 201010:38Chris Duhon faces summer of uncertainty
Chris Duhon understands that he's unlikely to re-sign with the Knicks this summer, and also said that he "would never go overseas."
"I chose to come [to New York] for the new opportunity," said Duhon. "It was a challenge. And I obviously didn't succeed in that. I won't regret that at all." It's completely unfair to blame Duhon for the Knicks' woes, though his inconsistent play and horrendous FG% didn't help.

Tue Apr 6 201023:07Duhon starts, but Knicks' PG still a triangle
Chris Duhon started at PG again on Tuesday, recording five points, four rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one turnover in 34 minutes.
Toney Douglas shot 4-of-14 in 29 minutes off the bench, while Sergio Rodriguez added 14 points in 18 minutes. We don't see this timeshare clearing up any time soon, and fantasy owners should try to avoid all three Knicks' PGs.
Mon Apr 5 201000:25Duhon quiet in start against the Clippers
Chris Duhon started in Sunday's game against the Clippers, but managed just four points on 2-of-2 shooting with two rebounds, three assists, and a steal in 23 minutes.
It's unclear what Mike D'Antoni's intentions are at this time, but Duhon is less likely than Toney Douglas (30 minutes, 13 points, four assists) and Sergio Rodriguez (22 minutes, four points, 10 assists) to have fantasy value. Unfortunately, it will be tough to figure out the timeshare heading into next week.
Sun Apr 4 201021:50Duhon starts for Knicks on Sunday vs. Clips
Chris Duhon, and not Toney Douglas, started at point guard on Sunday against the Clippers.
It remains to be seen what coach Mike D'Antoni is doing, but if it smells at all like he's teaching the rookie a lesson to end the year, owners will want to get Douglas out of their lineups and consider Duhon if they're desperate, as strange as that sounds right about now.
