Tue Jan 7 2014 | 19:19 | Kris Humphries will play vs. Denver |
Kris Humphries (ankle) will be available for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets. |
He has suddenly come on as a key piece off the bench for Boston. Humphries played in at least 23 minutes in each of the last four games with three double-digit rebound games in that span. He's worth a look as someone to play tonight against a weak Denver interior defense. |

Mon Jan 6 2014 | 14:56 | Kris Humphries doesn't practice on Monday |
Kris Humphries did not practice on Monday due to a mild left ankle sprain. |
The injury doesn't sound serious and he might have just suffered a small tweak in Sunday's blowout loss to the Thunder. Humphries has picked it up over his last five games, averaging 11.6 points, 7.8 boards, 1.6 blocks and 0.4 steals in 23.6 minutes, so he's worth a look in deeper leagues. He should be considered questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Denver. |

Sun Jan 5 2014 | 21:53 | Kris Humphries plays well off bench vs. OKC |
Kris Humphries' strong play continued vs. the Thunder, as he scored 14 points with three rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 23 minutes off the bench. |
Coach Brad Stevens seems content to lean on him for 20-25 minutes, and he's shockingly returning top-60 value (nine-cat) in Boston's past four games, but how long it will last is anyone's guess. Humphries is playing on an expiring contract and he's not part of the Celtics' future plans, so the odds are good that his playing time will decline as Jared Sullinger (hand, wrist) returns to health. |

Sat Jan 4 2014 | 00:25 | Humphries still producing for the Celtics |
Kris Humphries stayed productive in Friday's loss, scoring seven points on 2-of-6 shooting with 12 rebounds, three assists and one block in 24 minutes. |
Humphries has come out of nowhere to be productive over the last week or so and it's officially time to give him a look. We can't guarantee how long this is going to last, but he's been a solid late round value over the past week or so. |

Thu Jan 2 2014 | 22:59 | Kris Humphries just misses double-double |
Kris Humphries played well in 26 minutes off the bench against the Bulls on Thursday with nine points, 11 boards, three assists, two steals and four blocks in 26 minutes. |
He is eating into Brandon Bass' playing time and this was Humphries' second great game in a row. His 18-point, 10-board game on Tuesday could have been attributed to Jared Sullinger hurting his hand, but the Celtics had basically everyone available in the front court tonight. Humphries is worth a look in deeper leagues, but his body of work on the season makes it a little tough to add him in standards right now. |

Tue Dec 31 2013 | 16:14 | Kris Humphries notches 18 & 10 vs. Atlanta |
Kris Humphries grabbed 10 rebounds and tied his season-high with 18 points in Tuesday's matinee vs. the visiting Hawks. |
He didn't leave the court in the fourth quarter as Brad Stevens opted to stick with Humphries and Kelly Olynyk (21 points), who were playing very well together. The Celtics have been praising Humphries for his effort and professionalism, and Stevens even applauded the veteran's defense earlier this week. He's worth a look in deep leagues if you need help with FG percentage, points and rebounds. |

Mon Dec 23 2013 | 09:53 | Kris Humphries' minutes limited for Celtics |
In four games since returning from a bruised knee, Kris Humphries is averaging 8.5 points and 4.8 rebounds, and he's made a combined 16-of-23 field goals (69.6 percent). |
Unfortunately he's lacking in steals and blocks and this doesn't mean much unless his playing time increases from the 18.5 per game he's averaging during this stretch. Just keep an eye on him in case Boston ends up trading him to a team that plans to use him. |

Mon Dec 16 2013 | 23:02 | Humphries (knee) returns to put up 8 & 7 |
Kris Humphries (knee) returned to action on Monday, scoring eight points on 4-of-5 shooting with seven rebounds and one steal in 21 minutes. |
The Celtics may decide to give the Humph a few minutes in an attempt to showcase him for trade, but for all intents and purposes he is buried in the rotation and needs to show sustained productivity before warranting much fantasy attention. |

Sun Dec 15 2013 | 15:55 | Kris Humphries practices, will play Monday |
Kris Humphries (knee) practiced on Sunday and will be ready to play on Monday. |
He's dealt with a sore knee and missed two games. Humphries won't be a very big piece of the rotation unless the Celtics get into foul trouble, so he can be ignored in standard leagues. |

Fri Dec 13 2013 | 18:01 | Kris Humphries won't play on Friday |
Kris Humphries (knee) won't play against the Knicks on Friday. |
He has a knee bruise and this will be his second game out of the lineup. Humphries has been used primarily when the starters get into foul trouble and doesn't have much value in the majority of formats. |

Wed Dec 11 2013 | 19:25 | Kris Humphries will not play vs. Clippers |
Kris Humphries will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday. |
He is dealing with a bruised right knee and is a late scratch. Humphries has really just been depth for when Brandon Bass and Jared Sullinger get in foul trouble and played just 19.8 minutes per game over his last five. He's not worth owning in most leagues. Meanwhile, Sullinger and Bass might need to be extra careful about fouling tonight. |

Sat Dec 7 2013 | 00:22 | Kris Humphries scores 18 points vs. DEN |
Kris Humphries scored 18 points against the Nuggets on Friday with seven boards, two assists, one steal and one block in 24 minutes. |
He shot 8-of-11 from the field and tonight's game provided a season high in scoring. It was the first time Humphries hit double figures and he maximized his chance with Jared Sullinger in foul trouble. It's unlikely to happen again and fantasy owners can keep him on the waiver wire. |

Sun Nov 10 2013 | 09:49 | Kris Humphries plays 19 minutes vs. Heat |
Kris Humphries logged 19 minutes off the Celtics' bench on Saturday, scoring nine points with five rebounds and two blocks. |
Brandon Bass started but played only 15 minutes, Vitor Faverani went from starting at center to barely playing, and Jared Sullinger nearly double-doubled with 12 points and eight boards in 24 minutes. Humphries surfacing for one game will barely cause a ripple in standard fantasy leagues, but owners in deeper formats should keep an eye on Brad Stevens' rotations. |

Kris Humphries did not play in Friday's game against the Bucks. |
Jared Sullinger returned to the lineup and kicked Humphries out of the rotation. He'll be rumored to be traded and isn't worth owning in almost any format. |

Wed Oct 16 2013 | 18:51 | Kris Humphries sitting out with foot injury |
Kris Humphries will not play on Wednesday night due to a sore right foot. |
The severity of the injury is not known, but he did 28 minutes on Tuesday night, so some soreness is to be expected. Humphries is in the mix to get some minutes with his new team after a disastrous year with Brooklyn in 2012-13, but his ceiling isn't all too high. |

Mon Oct 7 2013 | 10:45 | Humphries not worried about trade rumors |
Kris Humphries said he's not worrying about the possible trade rumors that may come up this season. |
He said he's going to focus on what he can control and not worry about the future. Humphries has a chance to make the starting lineup and should at least be in the rotation after losing loads of playing time to Reggie Evans last season in Brooklyn. |

Mon Sep 23 2013 | 13:54 | Kris Humphries anticipates minutes at PF, C |
Kris Humphries expects to play minutes at both PF and C this season. |
"Well I've always played power forward, center, sometimes switching out guarding some [small forwards]," said Humphries. "I think with some of the versatility we have, we'll see guys playing different positions out there." The Celtics have Brandon Bass, Jared Sullinger and Vitor Faverani all capable of playing PF, as well as Jeff Green or Gerald Wallace if Boston plays a small lineup. Kelly Olynyk projects as the starting C. Humphries might be the team's best rebounder, but there's too much frontcourt competition to expect him to have reliable fantasy value. |

Fri Sep 13 2013 | 19:05 | Kris Humphries working out hard this summer |
Kris Humphries has been working out with well-regarded player development coach Phil Weber and is "ready to compete for a big role" with the Celtics. |
He has been working on his mid-range jump shot and adding a step-back jumper to his game. Weber has worked with Kobe Bryant and Paul Pierce in the past and said Humphries is in "unbelievable shape." With the Celtics lack of frontcourt experience, along with the potential legal trouble of Jared Sullinger and the plantar fasciitis injury to Kelly Olynyk, Humphries could be in line for a bounce-back year after falling out of the rotation in Brooklyn. |

Mon Jul 15 2013 | 19:52 | Celtics GM 'doesn't plan' to trade Humphries |
Kris Humphries said that Celtics GM Danny Ainge "doesn't plan on putting [Humphries] in any trades, but things happen." |
Ainge said there is no physical reason why Humphries can't regain his form from the 2011-12 season, but the rebuilding Celtics could try to deal his expiring $12 million contract before the deadline. "If something comes up that better for the team, then I'm sure that the team will do it," said Humphries. "You never know. As of today, I'm here and I'm preparing to be here." He projects as a backup PF behind Brandon Bass. |
