Harris left Monday's game against the Thunder due to illness and won't return, the Mavericks' official site reports.
Harris mustered eight minutes off the bench but didn't make a contribution in the box score, missing his only field goal attempt. Because the Mavs have a day off before next taking the court Wednesday versus the Magic, consider him questionable for that tilt.

Harris (hand) posted 15 points, one rebound, four assists, two steals, and two three-pointers made Friday against the Clippers.
Harris wasn't expected to miss Friday's game, but his performance was encouraging nonetheless. It isn't reasonable to expect any form of consistency from Harris, but his occasional spark would make him roster-worthy in 16-man leagues or deeper. He's averaging 8.9 points, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers made per game.

Harris (hand) deemed himself a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup with the Cavaliers, Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Harris has missed the last two games with a bruised hand suffered against the Blazers on Thursday. He was present at shootaround and appeared to be shooting and dribbling without issue, but discomfort is still present. If Harris is ultimately held out again, J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton will continue to pick up some extra minutes off the bench.

Harris (hand) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Warriors, Mavericks play-by-play announcer Mark Followill reports.
Harris injured his right hand during Thursday's loss to the Blazers, and while post-game X-rays came back negative, Friday's subsequent contest may come too soon for Harris to be involved. Along with Harris, teammate J.J. Barea is also dealing with a hand injury, which could force Raymond Felton into more backup minutes versus the Warriors. With playing Friday still a possibility, expect Harris' status to be clarified prior to tip-off.

Harris suffered a right hand injury in Thursday's loss to the Trail Blazers, but was cleared of any structural damage after X-rays came back negative, Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News reports.
It appears Harris is just dealing with a bruise to the hand near his thumb and index finger, but it could still threaten his availability for Friday's game against the Warriors. His status for the contest may not be clarified until shortly before tip off, making him a risky option in leagues with daily lineup moves.

Harris played 28 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's victory over the Raptors, finishing with 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Harris has been doing a nice job of filling up the stat sheet following the All-Star break. He got an extended amount of play Tuesday, after Monta Ellis was benched due to a heated exchange with coach Rich Carlisle. While his minutes won't consistently reach 30 minutes, he's still someone to keep an eye on if you're looking for assists and steals. He's posted four steals, two games in a row now, along with at least two in each of his last four, so that was a nice bonus for fantasy owners who had him in their lineup.

Harris is shooting just 31 percent from the field in Dallas' last five outings. He recently admitted to being pretty banged up and suggested he wouldn't be playing if Rajon Rondo or Monta Ellis were healthy. Look for Harris to use the break to rest his ailing body.
