Sat Mar 15 201422:14DeMarre Carroll fills stat sheet vs. Nuggets
DeMarre Carroll burned his former team for 11 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, four steals and three 3-pointers on 4-of-13 shooting in Saturday's win over the Nuggets.
Carroll's nice season continued as he racked up a fat stat sheet. His shooting was suspect tonight and he's not a big scorer, but he does enough with threes and steals to be a fixture in all lineups.

Thu Mar 13 201423:42DeMarre Carroll hits four treys vs. Bucks
DeMarre Carroll scored 15 points vs. the Bucks on Thursday with six boards, one assist, two blocks and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes.
He didn't have a steal tonight and that has really been the only area to fall off lately. Carroll had 1.9 steals per game in January and his average has dropped in each of the past two months. On the other hand, he's lit it up from downtown with 1.9 treys per game in February and March on 41 percent from deep. He's a must-own player and has been a great since Al Horford (pectoral) went down.

Sun Mar 9 201401:12DeMarre Carroll scores 19 in loss to Clips
DeMarre Carroll hit 7-of-14 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 19 points, two rebounds and a steal in Saturday's loss to the Clippers.
The one-point loss was the sixth in a row for Atlanta, and 14th in their last 15 games, as they're clinging to playoff hopes. Carroll has been a fantasy surprise this season and looked great tonight. The Hawks play three games next week, and then go on a four-game per week run to end the season, meaning Carroll should be owned in all leagues.

Thu Mar 6 201401:16DeMarre Carroll hits 3-of-11 shots in loss
DeMarre Carroll cooled off on Wednesday, hitting just 3-of-11 shots and a 3-pointer for nine points, six rebounds and two assists.
Carroll came in hot, scoring in double figures in four straight games, and is still averaging 16.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 2.4 3-pointers on 47 percent shooting over his last five games. He's been one of this season's most pleasant fantasy surprises and he'll quickly bounce back from tonight's poor shooting line. He was not alone, as the Hawks shot 33 percent from the field tonight, with only Pero Antic (3-of-5) hitting more than half his shots.

Sat Feb 22 201422:30DeMarre Carroll, Mike Scott post career highs
DeMarre Carroll scored a career-high 24 points against the Knicks on Saturday with six boards, two steals and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
He mentioned following Friday's game his hamstring was still a little sore and was very quiet with a four-point game, but he was on the other end of the spectrum in the win. Carroll has been terrific in steals and he's added plenty of stats in other areas, so he's worth owning in all leagues. It's been a while, but Carroll has gone on stretches of putting up mid-round value.

Sat Feb 22 201400:45DeMarre Carroll returns from hammy issue
DeMarre Carroll returned from a three-game absence on Friday with four points and three boards in 24 minutes.
He said after the game his hamstring felt a little weak, which means it's not going to feel good on Saturday. Carroll and the Hawks take on the Knicks in a back-to-back set, so there's certainly a good chance he'll have to sit.

DeMarre Carroll (hamstring) will start against the Pistons on Friday night.
He missed his last three games due to a left hamstring injury and it's unclear if he'll be a full go. Carroll has been putting up some impressive numbers since Al Horford went down, so he's worth owning in all leagues. Cartier Martin takes a hit, and Lou Williams will take a hit once Jeff Teague comes back.

Carroll is on the verge of a return. He was a game-time call on Wednesday and is making the trip to Detroit even though the Hawks are back home on Saturday. Wed Feb 19 201418:47DeMarre Carroll won't play, Cartier starting
DeMarre Carroll (hamstring) will not play against the Wizards on Wednesday night.
He was a game-time call and really needed a miracle to play tonight. Cartier Martin will start and could see some time at power forward with the Hawks running out of forwards. Carroll should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons.

Wed Feb 19 201417:22DeMarre Carroll is a game-time call Wednesday
DeMarre Carroll (hamstring) is a game-time decision to face the Wizards on Wednesday.
He is unlikely to play and the Hawks are going to be shorthanded in their front court tonight. They went with a lot of small lineups during Tuesday night's game and will likely have to do the same tonight. Their most commonly used lineup was Jeff Teague, Lou Williams, Kyle Korver, Paul Millsap and Elton Brand, so that group projects to see the most playing time again and may start. Lou Williams also played 30 minutes on Tuesday, but he might not be able to match that total on a back-to-back set.

Tue Feb 18 201421:50DeMarre Carroll not likely for Wednesday
After missing Tuesday's game, DeMarre Carroll is not likely to play on Wednesday, either, due to his hamstring injury.
Cartier Martin will likely make another start, while Kyle Korver, Mike Scott and Lou Williams should play a bigger role with Carroll sidelined. We're guessing Carroll will be back by the end of the week.

Tue Feb 18 201418:47DeMarre Carroll ruled out for Tuesday
DeMarre Carroll will not play for the Hawks in Tuesday's game due to his hamstring injury.
Cartier Martin will start in his place, while Lou Williams, Kyle Korver, Gustavo Ayon and Mike Scott should all see a bump in minutes. He was close to playing in this one so it does sound like he still has a decent shot at playing in three game this week.

Tue Feb 18 201411:52DeMarre Carroll (hamstring) game-time Tuesday
DeMarre Carroll (hamstring) is a game-time decision vs. Pacers on Tuesday.
Carroll has already aggravated the injury once this season and the Hawks may choose to play it safe, but owners should check for a definitive update before tip-off. If he can't suit up, expect to see Lou Williams starting at SG with Kyle Korver at SF.

Wed Feb 12 201416:47DeMarre Carroll (hamstring) out on Wednesday
DeMarre Carroll (left hamstring) will not play against the Raptors on Wednesday.
He had a hamstring issue last month and he may have aggravated it on Tuesday. Carroll did play 32 minutes and it might be more soreness than anything else. The Hawks will likely slide Kyle Korver over to small forward and get Lou Williams in the starting lineup.

DeMarre Carroll stayed hot on Saturday, hitting 6-of-15 shots and two 3-pointers for 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Fri Jan 31 201423:46Carroll gets his numbers against Philly
DeMarre Carroll scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in Friday's blowout win over the Sixers.
Owners should note the opponent but also that Carroll is red hot right now, averaging 15.2 points, 2.4 treys, 6.4 boards, and 1.8 steals while hitting an absurd 62.5 percent of his shots over the last five games. He should be owned in all formats at this time.

Tue Jan 28 201401:03DeMarre Carroll steals five in loss to KD
DeMarre Carroll had five steals against the Thunder on Monday with 15 points and three boards in 42 minutes.
He had to stick with Kevin Durant for most of the night and still turned in a nice game on the other end. While KD's 41 points look bad on the surface, Carroll did a decent job of staying in front of Durant, but there's really nobody on the planet capable of guarding him right now. Carroll should be owned in all leagues.
