Tue Mar 1 201123:00Reggie Williams scores 25 points off bench
Reggie Williams scored 25 points off the bench on Tuesday, hitting 10-of-14 shots from the field (including five threes) with four rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes.
Dorell Wright vowed not to miss any games due to his tender ankle, and that probably rules out Williams for any real fantasy value. Williams is a guy to watch, however, in case Wright's ankle becomes an issue or he continues to struggle.

Tue Feb 8 201104:25Williams scores 19 points off the bench
Reggie Williams scored 19 points off the bench on Monday, hitting 8-of-10 shots from the field (including a three) with five rebounds and no other statistics in 29 minutes.
Aside from the fact he got a few more minutes due to the lopsided nature of this game, he has proven his inconsistency all season long. He needs to produce for an extensive stretch before owners should consider him, without an injury to Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, or Dorell Wright.
Mon Jan 31 201100:34Reggie Williams shoots 6-of-6 on Sunday
Warriors guard Reggie Williams scored 15 points on 6-of-6 shooting in Sunday's victory, making all three of his 3-pointers in 17 minutes off the bench.
Williams (along with Anthony Tolliver) was a waiver wire gem for Golden State last season, but he's a marginal option with Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry both healthy. Needless to say, he won't be shooting 100% from the field very often.
Wed Jan 26 201109:23Reggie Williams to start if Curry sits?
Reggie Williams will likely start if Steph Curry (ankle) can't Wednesday, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Williams would share ball-handling duties with Monta Ellis. Note that in seven starts this season, Williams is averaging 16.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.1 3-pointers per game. He's a must-start in fantasy anytime Curry or Ellis is in street clothes.

Tue Jan 25 201104:01Williams held scoreless off the bench
Reggie Williams, coming off a 16-point performance on Saturday, was held scoreless in 14 minutes of action on Monday night.
If you had any thoughts of using him in a deep league, here's your example of what playing less than 20 minutes per night can do. Barring an injury to a starter, Williams has no fantasy value.
Sun Jan 23 201101:59Williams scores 16 points off the bench
Reggie Williams scored 16 points off the bench on Saturday, hitting 6-of-10 shots from the field (including two threes) with no rebounds, one assist, and no steals or blocks in 18 minutes of action.
The impressive part of this line is the fact that Monta Ellis played 42 minutes, Stephen Curry played 41 minutes, and Dorell Wright played 42 minutes, and Williams was still able to uncork this line. While he doesn't figure to have much value while these guys are healthy, he showed his meddle tonight.
Wed Jan 19 201109:45Reggie Williams has the green light
Warriors coach Keith Smart said he has given Reggie Williams the green light to shoot whenever he wants.
We're pretty sure everyone on Golden State has the green light at all times, so this isn't really stunning. But the key is that Smart continues to hype up Williams, who has been taking some minutes away from Steph Curry lately. Curry needs to step his game up on both ends to get back to 40 minutes -- something we are confident he will do.

Sat Jan 15 201101:38Reggie Williams plays well in Warriors win
Reggie Williams had 16 points, four boards, four assists and two 3-pointers for the Warriors on Friday.
Vladimir Radmanovic chipped in with 13 points, six boards and three 3-pointers, but neither player is worth owning in fantasy leagues right now. And it would likely take an injury to a teammate to make it happen. Having said that, Vlad-Rad looks much better this season.
Wed Jan 12 201114:54Reggie Williams set to play Wednesday
Reggie Williams (Achilles) took part in shootaround and will play on Wednesday.
Williams hasn't hit double figures since Dec. 21 and at this point will need an injury to Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis or Dorell Wright to reestablish legitimate fantasy value.

Tue Jan 4 201116:36Carney's exit means more run for Williams?
Warriors insider Matt Steinmetz speculates that the release of Rodney Carney could mean more playing time for Reggie Williams.
As much as we would like to support the theory and run to add Williams in our fantasy leagues, it's hard to get too excited given recent trends. In Monday's game, for example, Williams only played 18 minutes even though Carney was a DNP. The reality is that Williams needs an injury to Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis or Dorell Wright to resurface with legitimate fantasy value.

Tue Dec 28 201003:17Williams goes without stats in 12 minutes
Reggie Williams had no statistics other than two missed shots in 12 minutes of play on Monday.
It was nice while it lasted. Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry are back, and though both of them have ankle injuries, he was hardly worth owning as an insurance policy before this line. Unless you hear that either of the aforementioned studs are going to miss time, Reggie isn't worth owning.
Sun Dec 26 201001:45Williams scores nine pts in return to bench
Reggie Williams returned to the bench on Saturday with Stephen Curry (ankle) back in the starting lineup, and finished with nine points on 4-of-9 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds and no assists in 18 minutes.
He looked great in his time on the court, and while his fantasy value is seemingly done with Curry back, it's worth pointing out that Curry was on the bench during crunch time and Monta Ellis was limping around with a knee or ankle injury toward the end of the game. You may want to hang on until both of them are in the clear.
Wed Dec 22 201001:49Williams scores 24 points with nice line
Reggie Williams scored 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting (including three treys) with seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal on Tuesday.
He may actually get a reprieve, since Stephen Curry said he was not resting for precautionary reasons tonight and would not have been able to play had he been pressed into action. There has been some doubt expressed that Curry will be able to make it back for Saturday's game, so stay tuned.

Tue Dec 21 201005:47R-Willie deals with foul trouble vs. HOU
Reggie Williams dealt with foul trouble on Monday, playing just 27 minutes on his way to 11 points on 3-of-11 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, two assists, and a block.
His ride is about to come to an end when Stephen Curry (ankle) returns either Tuesday, or more likely on Saturday. Plan accordingly.
Wed Dec 15 201004:38R-Willie scores 26 points vs. Wolves
Reggie Williams scored 26 points on 8-of-13 shooting (4-of-7 from downtown) with five rebounds and two assists in 39 minutes of the Warriors' 108-99 win over the Wolves on Tuesday.
He's on fire and has averaged 22.5 points over his last four games. Stephen Curry says he hopes to play on Saturday, and whenever that day comes his value will take a pretty good hit.
Tue Dec 14 201001:33Reggie Williams posts 19-5-6 line vs. Jazz
Reggie Williams scored 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting (including four threes) with five rebounds, six assists, and two steals in a start for injured Stephen Curry (ankle) on Monday.
There's no telling how long Curry will be out, but while he is Williams has the ability to do this on any given night, making him a must-own player during that time. If you have to drop anybody with long-term value to get him, however, it probably doesn't make sense to grab him.
Sat Dec 11 201003:50R-Willie scores 13 points vs. the Heat
Reggie Williams stared for injured Stephen Curry (ankle) on Friday, scoring 13 points on 4-of-11 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 37 minutes.
News broke during the game that Curry would miss at least one more contest, and it's very possible that he misses more, making Williams a must-own during that time. Tonight's outing is a pretty good metric of what to expect on a mediocre night.
Wed Dec 8 201023:31Reggie Williams notches career-high 31 points
Reggie Williams was forced into action after Stephen Curry went down and took advantage, scoring a career-high 31 points on 8-10 from 3-point range.
Curry's ankle injury didn't look devastating but he did need to be helped off the court which is concerning. If Curry misses any time at all, Williams is a must-own player. He played 35 minutes tonight and could replicate what he did last year when he averaged 15 points in just over 32 minutes per game.
Sun Nov 28 201000:24Williams scores six points in 15 minutes
Reggie Williams scored just six points in 15 minutes of action on Saturday,
He had a nice run prior to his last two games, scoring in double figures in five of six games, but has averaged just 6.5 points in 16 minutes over his last two. Dorell Wright's 40-plus minutes per game over that time and 30 points tonight certainly have something to do with it.
Thu Nov 25 201000:49Reggie Williams scores 15 on Wednesday
Reggie Williams hit 6-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points on Wednesday.
He's hit double figures in five of his last six games and is worth a look in most leagues - especially if you need 3-pointers, as he's hit 11 of them over that stretch.
