Wed Mar 21 201215:35Andre Miller (shoulder) vows to play Friday
Andre Miller will miss one game due to doctor's orders, but he vowed to return for Friday's game at Utah.
Asked about limitations on the court, Miller replied, "I can do everything. I don't know what [the doctors] need to see ... I'm sitting out one game, and that's it." Ty Lawson will play all the minutes he can handle on Wednesday, especially with Rudy Fernandez (back) also out of commission.

Wed Mar 21 201213:43Andre Miller hopes to play through injury
Andre Miller has been ruled out for Wednesday's game, but teammate Ty Lawson thinks Miller might try to play through his separated right shoulder.
"I talked to him earlier. I think he's going to try to play through it (at some point)," Lawson said. "I don't know yet. He's a tough guy." Miller has missed a total of one game over his last four seasons and has played in 82 games eight times in his career. He simply doesn't miss games for minor injuries, but a separated shoulder is another story. Stay tuned.

Tue Mar 20 201213:51Andre Miller has a separated shoulder
Andre Miller (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a separated shoulder and will not play on Wednesday.
So much for George Karl's gut feeling. We're marking Miller as "out indefinitely" with the news that he separated his shoulder, and we had a bad feeling after he left the game and did not emerge from the locker room at any point. Ty Lawson is going to see all of the minutes he can handle, while Julyan Stone will slide into the backup role.

Tue Mar 20 201208:48George Karl confident Miller will be okay
George Karl sounded confident that Andre Miller (shoulder) will be okay to play on Wednesday.
"My gut says Andrew will play," said Karl. There have been no updates on Miller's condition since he left Monday's game and did not return, so Karl is just guessing here. We'll bring you an update on Miller's status when one becomes available.

Mon Mar 19 201223:48Miller leaves game with shoulder contusion
Andre Miller left Monday's game with a right shoulder contusion and did not return after playing just five minutes.
Particularly with the return of Wilson Chandler, things were about to get crowded in Denver. Should Miller miss any time, it would certainly help ease the minute crunch.

Fri Mar 16 201200:53Miller scores 17 points vs. Thunder
Andre Miller scored 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting with three rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes on Thursday.
Miller has been a sell-high and drop candidate for a while knowing that the Nuggets would eventually return to full strength. Today we learned that Wilson Chandler would likely be signing within two days, so if there are folks out there that want to believe in this line -- help them realize their full faith. We will back off on this a bit, however, if Al Harrington's slowly covered leg injury proves to be serious. We're pretty sure all the beat writers in America called it a night after the deadline.

Sat Mar 10 201203:36Miller goes for seven and eight as end near
Andre Miller scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting with eight assists in 22 minutes off the bench on Friday.
We've been warning that his value was going to be threatened by the returns of Danilo Gallinari and Nene, and Rudy Fernandez and/or Wilson Chandler haven't stepped foot on the court. Feel free to drop him for a hot free agent.

Tue Mar 6 201203:57Miller goes hitless, but hands out 11 assists
Andre Miller missed all three of his field goal attempts on Monday, finishing with two points, one rebound, and 11 assists in 31 minutes off the bench.
Owners would be wise to get anything they can for Miller (or drop him). He was strangely afraid of shooting the ball tonight, because things are about to get crowded in Denver. Danilo Gallinari (ankle) and Nene (calf) returned tonight, and Rudy Fernandez (back) and perhaps Wilson Chandler could also be on the way.

Fri Feb 24 201200:08Miller scores 20 points with seven assists
Andre Miller scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting (including a three) with one rebound, seven assists, and one steal in the Nuggets' 114-99 blowoout loss to the Spurs on Thursday.
Arron Afflalo chipped in with 19 points on 6-of-16 shooting (including three treys) to go with four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in the loss. Both are sell-high guys with Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) looming in the distance, not to mention Ty Lawson (ankle) and Rudy Fernandez (back).

Thu Feb 23 201202:26Andre Miller dominated by CP3 in start
Andre Miller started for injured Ty Lawson, but hit just 3-of-15 shots for eight points and eight assists in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers.
Miller might have become accustomed to his bench role and simply couldn't get it going against Chris Paul and company tonight. Lawson should return to action just after the All-Star break, sending Miller back to his bench role. Miller's not a must-start player off the Nuggets' bench, but has played well enough all season to be owned in most leagues.

Tue Feb 21 201203:20Andre Miller ejected; Ty Lawson goes down
Andre Miller had a strange night, going hitless on eight field goal attempts, and was ejected in the fourth quarter after Ty Lawson re-injured his balky left ankle earlier in the game.
This left undrafted rookie Julyan Stone (five points, three rebounds, two assists, two blocks, 18 minutes) to run the point in a close game against the Wolves, and needless to say it was a bad maneuver no matter how bad the reffing was (it was bad). Miller still finished with five points, six boards, and 12 assists, and is a must-start player for however long Lawson is out.

Sun Feb 19 201223:26Andre Miller posts 21 & 10 in OT defeat
Andre Miller came to life in Sunday's OT loss in Oklahoma City, scoring 21 points and dishing 10 assists in 36 minutes.
The veteran PG has been quiet in February -- this makes two strong games in a row, but his minutes (typically limited to around 25 per game) will continue to restrict his fantasy value.

Fri Feb 17 201223:38Andre Miller bounces back in Friday's loss
Andre Miller had 13 points, nine assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes off the bench on Friday.
He failed to score on Wednesday, but was back to form tonight after struggling over the past couple weeks. Hopefully this is a sign he's about ready to get hot again for the Nuggets.

Thu Feb 16 201203:39Miller's struggles continue on Wednesday
Andre Miller went hitless on five shot attempts on Wednesday, scoring no points with two rebound and two assists in 21 minutes off the bench.
Miller has not produced enough to be owned over the last two weeks, and owners are under considerable pressure to dump the once-productive asset. We can't argue too heavily against dropping him if you need a productive player, but this is out of character and there's a decent chance he gets it going -- especially with Danilo Gallinari out.

Mon Feb 6 201212:02Andre Miller was tired on Saturday?
Coach George Karl suggested tired legs as a reason for the Nuggets' poor showing in Portland on Saturday night.
The Nuggets were on the last leg of a back-to-back-to-back. We wouldn't worry too much about Andre Miller's two-point, 13-minute outing. He's 35 years old and should be much fresher for Monday's game against the Rockets.

Sun Feb 5 201200:38Andre Miller plays just 14 minutes off bench
Andre Miller played just 14 minutes on Saturday, scoring two points with three rebounds and one assist.
Ty Lawson produced 16 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals in 32 minutes, and this just wasn't Miller's night. The veteran PG is still averaging over 30 minutes per game this season, so don't read too much into this dud.

Sat Feb 4 201204:22Andre Miller scores 16 points with seven asts
Andre Miller scored 16 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 5-of-6 shots from the field with three rebounds, seven assists, and a block in 30 minutes.
Miller is performing well enough to be started in all formats and could see a nice bump if Danilo Gallinari (eye) misses any time.

Sun Jan 29 201223:52Andre Miller double-doubles in start
Andre Miller played well in another start for Ty Lawson (ankle) and had 16 points, 10 assists and a steal on 6-of-16 shooting on Sunday.
Miller is a must-own fantasy player, especially with Lawson hurting. Lawson is close, as he predicted he would play on Sunday, but ended up being held out. But even coming off the bench for most of the season, Miller was averaging 10.5 points, 7.1 assists and 1.4 steals coming into Sunday's game. The Nuggets had their six-game winning streak ended in the loss at home to the Clippers.

Sat Jan 28 201202:57Miller posts another big line with Lawson out
Andre Miller scored 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, a season-high 12 assists, and two steals in the Nuggets' 96-81 win over the Raptors on Friday.
Miller has been killing it and while owners are surely aware that Ty Lawson's (ankle) absence has a lot to do with his push, now is probably a good time to put the feelers out on a trade, nonetheless. Miller has been productive when Lawson is in the lineup, but his value might be at an unrealistic high right now. Lawson sounds like he could return for Sunday's game against the Clippers.

Thu Jan 26 201201:57Andre Miller goes for 15-4-10 in easy win
Andre Miller scored 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting with four rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals in the Nuggets' easy win over the Kings on Wednesday.
Miller was playing well enough to be owned in most leagues prior to Ty Lawson's ankle injury tonight, so it stands to reason that he's a must-own player with this development. Even if Lawson plays on Friday against the Raptors, owners will be holding onto a productive asset in Miller.
