Sat Dec 7 201323:27Mike Miller scores 16 points off bench
Mike Miller shot 7-of-9 from the field for 16 points in Saturday's 108-82 loss to Golden State to go with five boards, one assist and two 3-pointers.
The Grizzlies got no production on the wing at all outside of Miller with Quincy Pondexter scoring four and Jerryd Bayless shooting 0-of-11 from the field. Miller picked up some of his stats in garbage time, so he can remain on the wire in most formats.

Sat Nov 23 201301:27Miller really struggling to produce for MEM
Mike Miller scored just four points on 1-of-5 shooting with two rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Miller has been downright awful lately and it's fairly telling that he hasn't been able to step up with absences throughout the lineup. If you haven't moved on, now is the time.

Sun Nov 17 201320:31Mike Miller doesn't attempt a single FG or FT
Mike Miller did not attempt any field goals or free throws in 21 minutes off the bench vs. Sacramento on Sunday.
He had three boards and one assist and this line speaks volumes about his role off the Grizzlies' bench. Over 61 percent of his shots have been 3-point attempts and his assignment is to spread the court, rebound, and keep the ball moving offensively. It's not a recipe for fantasy success.

Sat Nov 16 201304:16Miller scores four points with six rebounds
Mike Miller hit just 2-of-8 shots on Friday, finishing with four points, six rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes off the bench.
Miller had been posting late-round value on the year but Quincy Pondexter's return could chip away just enough value to knock him into deep league status. Along with his injury risk, owners in standard leagues should feel free to make an upgrade.

Sat Oct 5 201311:52Mike Miller's main goal is staying healthy
Head coach Dave Joerger said Mike Miller can play "three or four positions" for the Grizzlies.
Miller is a deft passer who may initiate the offense on occasion, but the Grizzlies simply want him to stay healthy and spread the court with his deadly 3-point shooting (41.7 percent from downtown last year). The 'staying healthy' part is the real crux, as Miller has missed an average of 30 games over the past four seasons.

Tue Jul 30 201314:15Mike Miller officially signs with Grizz
Mike Miller officially signed a two-year deal with the Grizzlies Tuesday.
Salary terms are unknown, but Miller will collect more than $12 million from the Heat over the next two seasons. The 33-year-old will likely be a sharpshooter off the bench, playing far more minutes than the 15.2 he saw in Miami last year. The Grizz are desperate for outside shooting because they start two defensive-minded players on the wing in Tony Allen and Tayshaun Prince.

Wed Jul 24 201318:36Report: Mike Miller will sign with Grizzlies
Mike Miller has notified the Grizzlies he's decided to sign with them, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Miller met with the Thunder, Rockets and Grizzlies after being bought out by the Heat. The Nuggets were also reportedly in the mix, but Miller instead chose to return to the team he played for from 2002 to 2008. The veteran sharpshooter isn't anywhere near the player he was back then, but Miller can still be a useful 3-point shooter off the bench. The Grizzlies will have to find a way to keep Miller healthy despite a litany of back issues.

Mon Jul 22 201313:31Mike Miller meeting with Thunder again
The Thunder have a second face-to-face meeting with Mike Miller on Monday.
Miller is also expected to have a meeting with the Grizzlies later this week. The Rockets and Nuggets are in the mix, but OKC and Memphis look to be ahead. Miller was with the Grizzlies from 2002 to 2008, averaging at least 11.1 points per game in each season. He's dealt with a slew of back issues and won't be worth drafting in standard fantasy leagues.

Sat Jul 20 201315:43Nuggets emerge as suitor for Mike Miller
The Nuggets have emerged as a suitor for Mike Miller, who has already met with the Thunder and Grizzlies.
The 33-year-old sharp-shooter feels that he has "a lot left," and all three teams pursuing him could offer heavy playing time and the promise of a playoff run. Given that he's already met with two of those teams, we shouldn't have to wait long for a decision.

Sat Jul 20 201312:31Report: Thunder, Grizzlies in lead for Miller
The Thunder and Grizzlies are the two frontrunners for Mike Miller's services, a source close to the player tells Chris Tomasson of FOX Sports Florida.
This shouldn't surprise anyone as Miller has reportedly expressed interest in both teams. Miller's scheduled to meet with the Thunder in Miami this week and OKC makes a lot of sense for the sharpshooter. Still, don't count out the Grizzlies, who Miller spent a big chunk of his career with and still hold a place in his heart.

Thu Jul 18 201321:46Mike Miller will meet with the Thunder
Mike Miller will meet with the Thunder this week in Miami.
He was amnestied by the Heat and is an unrestricted free agent. The Cavs, Grizzlies, the Rockets, Spurs, and Warriors are also reportedly interested in signing the 33-year-old Miller. He would also like to join a contender, so it does make a lot of sense that the Thunder are in the lead to bring him on.

Thu Jul 18 201317:09Reports: Mike Miller clears waivers, now a FA
Mike Miller cleared waivers and is an unrestricted free agent, according to multiple media outlets.
The Cavs were reportedly considering claiming Miller, who was bought out by the Heat earlier this week. However, there was talk of Miller considering retirement due to his bad back, which may have caused him to pass through waivers unclaimed. The Spurs, Grizzlies, Thunder and Rockets are reportedly interested in signing Miller, but he'll likely have to prove to teams his back won't be a major issue over an 82-game season.

Wed Jul 17 201320:15Mike Miller weighing retirement
Mike Miller, who is now being targeted by the Cavaliers, is still dealing with a bad back and is said to be considering retirement.
This came to light after it became clear the Cavs were making a move for him, so the timing is interesting. There's no question Miller's back (and body) are banged up, but you have to think his injury concerns and possible retirement might not be making headlines right now if a title contender was the team making a push for him.

Wed Jul 17 201317:46Report: Rockets interested in Miller, Camby
The Rockets have interest in amnesty buyouts Mike Miller and Marcus Camby, a source tells Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Miller and Camby were bought out by the Heat and Raptors, respectively. With the Rockets in win-now mode, both players make sense as depth players to help fill out the bench and contribute in limited minutes. Miller is reportedly also drawing interest from the Grizzlies and Thunder.

Wed Jul 17 201309:20Mike Miller eager for his next NBA chapter
Mike Miller, who was amnestied by the Heat on Tuesday, said that he is healthy and "can't wait to play again next year."
Miller is still 33 years old and feels he has "a lot left," and given his 3-point shooting (41.7 percent last season) it shouldn't take long for a playoff team to offer him a contract once he clears waivers. "If it's standstill 3-point shooting, like I did [in Miami], and rebounding and things like that? Count me in," said Miller. "If you need stuff off the dribble, I'm here to do whatever."

Wed Jun 26 201312:32Riley: Heat not planning to amnesty Miller
The Heat are not preparing to use the amnesty clause on Mike Miller, according to Pat Riley.
Riley said that he won't amnesty Miller unless "he gets a mandate to do so," and we can't see that happening. It sounds like Riley has every intention to return next season with a very similar roster if not exactly the same one.

Tue Jun 18 201320:26Spurs - Heat: Same starters for Game 6
The Spurs and Heat are expected to use the same starting lineups for Tuesday's Game 6 as they did for Game 5.
That means Manu Ginobili is in and Tiago Splitter is out for the Spurs, while Mike Miller gets the nod for the Heat. Tony Parker, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan will round out the starting five for the Spurs, while Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh will start for the Heat. LeBron is actually warming up on the court (instead of in the practice gym) for the big game, which is not something he normally does.

Tue Jun 18 201311:43Heat contemplating lineup change for Game 6
The Heat are contemplating a lineup change in advance of Tuesday's Game 6 vs. the Spurs.
Erik Spoelstra siad "we'll find out" when asked if his starting lineup would remain the same. It's possible Mike Miller will go back to the bench in favor of Udonis Haslem, but we'll have to wait until just before tipoff for official word.

Thu Jun 13 201320:38Mike Miller will start in Game 4 on Thursday
Mike Miller will start in place of Udonis Haslem on Thursday.
The Heat were destroyed on the perimeter in Game 3, allowing an NBA Finals record 16 3-pointers. Miller isn't exactly going to help the Heat in defending the triple, but the Heat are likely hoping he can hit a few to combat the difference. It's risky and Erik Spoelstra will be criticized should this move backfire.
