Tue Aug 5 201421:46Miller officially signed with Cavaliers on Tuesday
Miller officially signed with the Cavaliers on Tuesday, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Miller, a two-time NBA champion, re-unites with LeBron James in Cleveland. After averaging 7.1 points and 2.5 rebounds (while shooting a stellar 48.1 percent from three) in 21 minutes per game for Memphis last season, the sharpshooter will settle into a familiar role off the bench for the Cavs in 2014-15.
Tue Jul 15 201417:27Mike Miller agrees to two-year deal w/ Cavs
Mike Miller will sign a two-year deal with the Cavaliers, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.
The second year will be a player option and it's apparent how much Miller values the opportunity to play for a championship with LeBron James in Cleveland -- the Rockets and Nuggets had both offered him significantly more money. Miller was tremendous from downtown last year, making 45.9 percent of his 3-pointers, but he's purely a specialist for fantasy purposes.

Sun Jul 13 201417:29Nuggets dangle $4M annually for Mike Miller
The Nuggets have reportedly offered Mike Miller a three-year, $12 million contract, while the Cavaliers have offered a two-year, $5.5 million deal.
The ability to play with LeBron James and compete for a championship will undoubtedly be a strong influence for Miller, but he may find it hard to turn down the Nuggets' lucrative offer at this stage in his career. The 14-year veteran bounced back from a few injury-plagued seasons to appear in all 82 games with Memphis last year, knocking down 45.9 percent of his 3-pointers, and Denver's offer indicates that they're desperate for more perimeter shooting.

Sat Jul 12 201402:01Mike Miller nearing deal with the Cavs
Free agent Mike Miller is close to a deal with the Cavs according to Fox Sports Ohio.
"Unless something unforeseeable happens, he will be joining us" said a team source. Miller will probably be on the same program he's been on for the past few years, with playing time concerns during the regular season as he gears up for postseason ball.

Fri Jul 11 201417:19Report: Mike Miller wants to team up with LBJ
Unrestricted free agent Mike Miller is reportedly exploring every option to reunite with LeBron James in Cleveland.
Miller stopped his talks with Denver, and while he'd probably fetch a more lucrative offer elsewhere, playing alongside LeBron for a championship is a pretty good selling point. The Cavs have also reached out to unrestricted free agent Ray Allen as Cleveland looks for shooters to round out their roster.

Fri Jul 11 201414:10Report: LeBron has talked to Mike Miller
Brian Windhorst is reporting that LeBron James has spoken to former teammate Mike Miller about joining him in Cleveland.
Miller can still shoot it from downtown and would come with a low price tag, but has been injured for most of his recent career. But if LeBron wants him, Miller will show up.

Thu Jul 10 201413:59Mike Miller in negotiations with Grizzlies
Mike Miller is in negotiations with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to reports.
According to Grizzlies' sideline reporter Rob Fischer of FOX Sports, the negotiations are "ongoing and positive" and the current offer is higher than the initial offer that was previously reported. Miller has had a growing market for his services that has included the Nuggets, Blazers, Rockets, Thunder, Clippers, and Cavaliers, but he won't have much fantasy value wherever he lands.

Wed Jul 9 201421:06Mike Miller closing in on a deal with Nuggets
Unrestricted free agent Mike Miller is getting close to agreeing to terms with the Nuggets, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.com.
The Cavaliers are believed to be after Miller and his market value seems to be on the rise. Miller had a tough time staying healthy before last season, so it should be interesting to see if the Nuggets are willing to pay more than $4 million to bring him on board. He'll have very little fantasy value.

Wed Jul 9 201416:49Mike Miller seeking $4-4.5 million
Mike Miller's market price is "rapidly rising" to around $4-4.5 million per year and he is getting interest from the Grizzlies, Thunder and Nuggets.
The Heat can't bring Miller on their team because they amnestied him in 2013 and rules dictate he can't go back with them until his original contract expires, which is 2015. Miller was able to stay healthy last year and it's certainly going to help him get a deal, but his price tag seems a bit high.

Wed Jul 9 201411:37Report: Cavaliers pursuing FA Mike Miller
The Cavaliers are reportedly pursuing free agent Mike Miller.
The Cavs are pulling out all the stops in a final effort to convince LeBron James to return to Cleveland -- they've cleared a max-salary slot and are now reportedly chasing both Miller and Ray Allen. The Clippers, Nuggets, Rockets, Thunder and Trail Blazers have also expressed interest in Miller.

Mon Jul 7 201412:45Mike Miller still in Denver, not at camp
Unrestricted free agent Mike Miller is still in Denver and is not expected to be in Memphis until Thursday.
The Nuggets are interested in bringing in Miller, which doesn't make a lot of sense. They brought on Arron Afflalo and drafted Gary Harris, so they really don't need too much help on the wing. The Clippers, Rockets, Thunder and Blazers are also believed to be going after Miller.

Mon Jul 7 201400:17Free agent Mike Miller to meet with Nuggets
Free agent swingman Mike Miller was expected to meet with the Nuggets on Sunday and Monday, according to an ESPN radio station.
The Grizzlies reportedly made Miller an initial two-year contract offer at around "$2.4 and $2.9 million" annually, but the veteran is looking to drive up his asking price before committing to any team. The Clippers, Nuggets, Rockets, Thunder and Trail Blazers have also been linked to Miller, who shot a blistering 45.9 percent from beyond the arc last season.

Wed Jul 2 201412:52Mike Miller courted by at least five teams
Free agent swingman Mike Miller has drawn interest from the Clippers, Grizzlies, Nuggets, Rockets and Thunder.
Miller hopes to make a decision by Saturday and he's giving the Grizzlies every opportunity to keep him, saying in an interview on Wednesday, "My heart is in Memphis." Jodie Meeks and Avery Bradley have landed big deals in free agency and Miller added that the Grizzlies "know what [his] value is," so the question is whether owner Robert Pera will sign off on a deal lucrative enough to keep the 34-year-old sharp-shooter.

Sun Jun 29 201417:27Grizzlies hope to retain FA Mike Miller
The Grizzlies are expected to make a "serious pitch" to retain free agent Mike Miller this summer.
"The way I feel - and the way the NBA has changed a little bit - I can see myself playing three or four more years," Miller said. He passed over other contenders to sign a minimum-salary deal with Memphis last summer, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him stay loyal to the franchise again in 2014-15. Memphis averaged the fewest 3-pointers per game last season, so keeping Miller on a minimum-salary deal would be an any decision.

Sat May 10 201409:41Grizzlies focused on adding 3-point shooters
Grizzlies CEO Jason Levien said that his team must add 3-point shooters via free agency or trades this summer.
The Grizzlies made a league-low 4.9 triples per game last season, led by Mike Conley (1.4 per game) and impending free agent Mike Miller (1.3). Affordable FAs who might attract the Grizzlies attention include Jodie Meeks, Ray Allen, C.J. Miles and James Jones.

Sat May 3 201419:56Mike Miller and Tony Allen starting in Game 7
Mike Miller and Tony Allen will start in place of Zach Randolph and Tayshaun Prince for Game 7 on Saturday.
The Grizzlies will need all the offense they can get with Zach Randolph out, so it makes sense to get Miller in there. Coach Dave Joerger said he's going to feed Marc Gasol more tonight and the Thunder will certainly be keying on him defensively.

Wed Apr 30 201400:30Mike Miller scores 21 points in massive win
Mike Miller made 6-of-11 from the field for 21 points during Tuesday's overtime win over the Thunder with six boards, three assists, three steals and five 3-pointers.
He's probably not the first person you'd think of that would give Oklahoma City their biggest loss of the season, but Miller was huge tonight. He had one of his better defensive efforts and was effective on the glass on top of some clutch shooting. Miller was shooting just 27.3 percent from the field in the four previous games during this series and he'll look to stay hot on Thursday.

Tue Apr 15 201401:23Miller scores 21 points with five threes
Mike Miller scored 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting (including five threes) in 30 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Miller is well worth a look for his 3-point shooting as the Grizzlies and Mavs will face off on Wednesday in a meaningful game.

Mon Mar 31 201400:33Mike Miller chips in across the board in loss
Mike Miller quietly filled up the stat sheet in Sunday's loss, scoring 12 points with two 3-pointers, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
The Grizzlies mounted a late comeback with help from reserves Miller, James Johnson (eight points) and Ed Davis (five points), but they fell short in a costly 98-105 loss in Portland. Miller logged 28 minutes and the Grizzlies won't be shy about using him with the playoffs on the line, but he's only worth a look for deep-league owners in need of perimeter shooting.

Thu Mar 27 201402:05Mike Miller scores nine in win over Jazz
Mike Miller played 28 minutes off the bench and hit 3-of-6 shots and two 3-pointers for nine points, four rebounds and four assists in Wednesday's win over the Jazz.
With Courtney Lee and Tony Allen giving nothing to the Grizzlies, right now, Miller is quietly coming on. He's averaging 10.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.7 3-pointers over his last three games. No, we don't trust him, but given that starter Lee hasn't scored in two games and Allen missed all five of his shots tonight, Miller may have finally gained the trust of his coach. Just keep an eye on him.
