Wed Mar 12 201412:27Mike Miller heating up after All-Star break
Mike Miller is averaging 10.4 points and 1.9 threes per game since the All-Star break, while connecting on 60 percent of his attempts from downtown.
The veteran sniper is in good form for Memphis, and Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger has prodded Miller to open up the court by being "more selfish" offensively. "Now he's pulling the trigger on shots," Joerger said. "He's taking shots that are presented to him and all of a sudden, Kosta [Koufos] is rolling and he's open and he gets a dunk." If you need a 3-point specialist, Miller is a likely candidate.

Fri Mar 7 201422:47Miller (face) plays and hits four treys
Mike Miller (face) played in Friday's game and hit four 3-pointers to finish with 14 points, five rebounds, two steals and one block in 20 minutes.
Miller needs to string together a few of these before owners should take any notice. His inconsistency and durability issues have been well-chronicled this season.

Fri Mar 7 201418:27Mike Miller is playing vs. the Bulls
Mike Miller (face) is playing against the Bulls on Friday night.
He needed six stitches against the Nets on Wednesday and it probably won't affect his outlook tonight. Miller's minutes have been too inconsistent to be counted on in fantasy leagues.

Wed Mar 5 201421:50Mike Miller goes to the locker room
Mike Miller went to the locker room in the second half of Wednesday's game with a face injury.
He hurt his face and had a towel over it as he went to the locker room. Miller was able to walk back to the locker room under his own power and the team will likely update him after the game.

Fri Feb 28 201422:51Miller erupts with team-leading 19 points
Mike Miller came out of nowhere to score all 19 of his points in the fourth quarter on Friday against the Thunder.
Miller hit 7-of-9 shots (including four threes) with two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 20 minutes, and owners can safely ignore the random result from the Grizzlies' playoff mercenary.

Mon Feb 24 201411:07Grizzlies coach quickly paring down rotation
Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger used 11 players during Saturday's loss in Charlotte, but he plans to tighten the rotation to "eight and a half [players]."
"It's not going to be a long process," Joerger said about determining a rotation. "That's not a message [I'm] sending to anybody, but we are using these two games [Saturday and Wednesday] as opportunity. I can't use the next two weeks." Kosta Koufos and Ed Davis played the fewest minutes of any Grizzlies players on Saturday, while James Johnson was limited to just 10 minutes. With Memphis at full strength it seems likely that Nick Calathes, Tony Allen and Mike Miller will hang onto their roles, with Johnson filling in as needed.

Mike Miller hit five 3-pointers and scored 19 points in just 20 minutes on Tuesday.

Tue Feb 11 201423:11Mike Miller returns from ankle injury
Mike Miller returned from an ankle injury against the Wizards, finishing with two points, two boards and one assist in 15 minutes.
There was no report from the team after going to the locker room to say what was specifically wrong, meaning it was likely minor. Miller should be ready to go for Wednesday night.

Tue Feb 11 201421:08Mike Miller hobbles off court, to locker room
Mike Miller left Tuesday's game with a leg or foot injury and went straight to the locker room.
Miller's had trouble staying healthy and getting much playing time this season, as the end is near. We're guessing he suffered an ankle injury tonight, but we should have more information soon.

Thu Feb 6 201400:42Mike Miller plays eight minutes off the bench
Mike Miller played through an illness on Wednesday, failing to score with one assist in eight minutes.
He missed shootaround and was a game-time decision, but the Grizzlies didn't update his status heading into the game. Miller doesn't have much fantasy value right now and it's only going to get worse once Tony Allen (hand) comes back.

Wed Feb 5 201413:01Mike Miller game-time decision w/ illness
Mike Miller sat out Wednesday's shootaround due to illness, and he's a game-time decision vs. the Mavericks.
Tony Allen (wrist) is doubtful to play and Mike Conley (ankle) remains sidelined. That leaves copious playing time available for Nick Calathes, Courtney Lee and James Johnson, especially if Miller's illness sidelines him.

Sat Feb 1 201400:07Mike Miller scores five points in 25 minutes
Mike Miller played 25 minutes on Friday with five points, one board, one assist and one 3-poitner.
He suffered a sprained thumb on Wednesday and it didn't seem to bother him much tonight. Miller may get a few extra minutes with the Grizzlies going to have to mix and match their way in the backcourt, but he's only worth a look in deep leagues.

Fri Jan 31 201418:56Mike Miller good to go vs. Wolves Friday
Mike Miller (thumb) will play against the Wolves on Friday.
He went through morning shootaround and his sprained right thumb sounds like it's fine. Miller saw a somewhat surprising 27 minutes on Wednesday, but he's not a reliable option in most fantasy leagues.

Thu Jan 30 201401:43Mike Miller hurts thumb at Sacramento
Mike Miller was diagnosed with a sprained right thumb following Wednesday's game against the Kings.
He went to the locker room and did not return. Miller was in some pain and is listed as day-to-day. He played a surprising 27 minutes against the Kings, scoring 11 points with three boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer. Miller figures to lose some playing time upon Tony Allen's (hand) return.

Sun Jan 12 201421:00Grizzlies win, Mike Miller scores 15 points
Mike Miller scored 15 points and made 3-of-5 shots from downtown vs. the Hawks, but he also added three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 26 minutes.
It's nice to see Miller healthy and productive but fantasy owners should be hedging their bets. Tony Allen's absence with a hand/wrist injury allowed Courtney Lee to play 32 minutes as a starter, but once Lee shifts to the bench Miller's minutes may be scaled back. At the very least, he'll face stiff competition from Lee and versatile F James Johnson (seven points, three asissts, three steals and two blocks in 26 minutes).

Sun Jan 5 201416:20Mike Miller scores six points in start
Mike Miller got the start on Sunday with Tony Allen (hand) out of the lineup, finishing with six points, four boards, two assists and no 3-pointers in 18 minutes.
He hasn't done much in his two starts this year, but the Grizzlies are likely happy with the Miller signing in the offseason based on how he hasn't missed a game all season. He can remain on the wire in most leagues.

Sat Dec 21 201315:00Mike Miller scores two points in 14 minutes
Mike Miller came off the Grizzlies' bench again on Saturday, scoring just two points with four rebounds in 14 minutes.
Few players seem to visibly struggle as much as Miller does while on the court, and it makes sense for Memphis to limit him after he logged between 24-30 minutes in each of the past seven games. His fantasy appeal is limited to a handful of 3-pointers.

Thu Dec 19 201301:21Mike Miller (ankle) is fine after all
Mike Miller started at small forward for the Grizzlies on Wednesday and played 30 minutes with a line of eight points, four boards, two assists and two 3-pointers on 3-of-5 shooting.
Miller rolled his ankle badly on Tuesday and it's a little surprising to see him back in the lineup without missing any games. He's carved out a consistent role with the Grizzlies over his last seven games, playing between 24-30 minutes in each outing. The 33-year-old former Rookie of the Year has 1.6 triples per game and is shooting the ball well over that span, so he's a low-end specialist in some formats.

Wed Dec 18 201319:30Mike Miller says his ankle is fine
Mike Miller said he's rolled his left ankle "1,000 times" and that he's fine.
We're guessing that means he'll be available for Wednesday's game, which is a little surprising given how bad the injury looked on television.

Tue Dec 17 201322:10Mike Miller leaves with sprained left ankle
Mike Miller turned his left ankle severely in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game, finishing with nine points, five assists and a 3-pointer in 30 minutes.
He hasn't been ruled out for the final three minutes of the game, but it would be shocking to see him return. And once it swells over night, it's possible he'll miss several games with the injury. And if he does miss time, it should mean more minutes for guys like Jerryd Bayless, Nick Calathes and Tony Allen going forward.
