Sat Feb 1 201409:38John Henson (wrist) won't play vs. Grizzlies
John Henson (sprained right wrist) will not play vs. the Grizzlies on Saturday.
It's nice to get a timely injury update from the Bucks, for once, but that's no relief for his fantasy owners. The Bucks rolled out a starting frontcourt of Larry Sanders, Ersan Ilyasova and Khris Middleton vs. Orlando on Friday, and with Henson out there's a good chance that lineup will stick. He's questionable to return for Monday's road game in New York.

Fri Jan 31 201421:59John Henson (wrist) doubtful on Saturday
John Henson (wrist) is doubtful to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday, according to coach Larry Drew
The last time Henson missed a game, it took a few days for the Bucks to release any information about his ankle sprain. Hopefully, this doesn't happen again and Henson fantasy owners can have an idea how long the big man will be out. Larry Sanders was tremendous on Friday and should be owned in all leagues while Miroslav Raduljica is worth a look for owners in very deep formats.

Fri Jan 31 201417:43John Henson (hand) will not play on Friday
John Henson (hand) will not play against the Magic on Friday.
Henson only played 22 minutes on Wednesday while in foul trouble and this is the first we've heard of an injury. He's played well off the bench for the Bucks and we'll pass along any info about what's wrong with his hand as it becomes available. Larry Sanders will get the start after a solid effort on Wednesday.

Sat Jan 25 201423:30John Henson double-doubles vs. Hawks
John Henson double-doubled against the Hawks on Saturday with 10 points, 10 boards, one assist and two blocks in 28 minutes.
He came off the bench tonight, but that doesn't really matter. Larry Sanders hasn't done anything to earn minutes outside of sign a big contract in the offseason, so Henson will get his no matter where his minutes come from. He should be owned in all leagues.

Sat Jan 25 201420:31John Henson goes back to the bench
John Henson moved back to the bench on Saturday night.
Larry Sanders is back in the starting lineup for the Bucks. Henson was putting up some nice numbers with the second unit, so there's no reason to be worried. Henson should have success against a very thin ATL frontcourt.

Fri Jan 24 201410:59John Henson to draw another start on Friday
John Henson will start Friday's game against the Cavs.
The Bucks earned a rare win on Wednesday, beating the Pistons at home. So Larry Drew will stick with the same starting five of Brandon Knight, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ersan Ilyasova, Ekpe Udoh amd Henson. It sounds like Larry Sanders (illness) will play, but come off the bench. Henson got into foul trouble against the Pistons, but still produced 12 points, three rebounds and three blocks in 21 minutes. As a starter this year, he's averaging 14.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.1 blocks on 55.4 percent shooting. Henson carries gobs of upside into Friday night's game.

Thu Jan 23 201400:07John Henson has a quiet game vs. Detroit
John Henson moved into the starting lineup on Wednesday, playing 21 minutes with 12 points, three boards and three blocks.
He picked up two fouls on Greg Monroe in the span of 10 seconds in the first quarter and it sent him to the bench, and also missed all four attempts from the line. Henson was thriving off the bench with back-to-back double-doubles before Larry Sanders (illness) missed tonight's game, thus forcing Larry Drew to shift his lineup a little bit. He should be owned in all leagues.

Sat Jan 18 201423:45John Henson drops 20 and 15 off the bench
John Henson excelled off the bench on Saturday with 20 points, 15 boards and one block on 8-of-12 shooting against the Rockets on Saturday.
Yet another example of how coming off the bench is not the end of the world. Starting-caliber players coming off the bench tend to have higher usage rates and when a stat-stuffer like Henson gets 29 minutes, he's going to put up some big lines like tonight. He should be owned in all leagues.

Thu Jan 16 201402:21John Henson plays 26 minutes vs. Memphis
John Henson played 26 minutes off the bench against the Grizzlies on Wednesday during an 82-77 loss, scoring eight points with 13 boards, two assists, one steal and one block.
Considering Larry Sanders played 37 minutes and Ersan Ilyasova played 29 minutes, this is a big win for Henson owners. If he can find a way to stay above 25 minutes per game, he should be able to hold enough value in standard leagues. Henson led the NBA in blocks per game in December and offers a very high ceiling.

Mon Jan 13 201421:49Henson (ankle) returns, plays 17 minutes
John Henson (ankle) returned to action after a seven-game absence on Friday, playing 17 minutes with eight points, five rebounds and four blocks.
Henson hit 4-of-6 shots and the good news is that it appears like he will join Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova in a three-way timeshare between two big man positions. That could always change with Larry Drew at the controls, but in any event he is a must-own and must-start player in standard formats because of his massive upside.

Mon Jan 13 201412:21John Henson (ankle) will return vs. Raptors
John Henson (high ankle sprain) will return to action on Monday after a seven-game absence.
"I'm going to give it a go," Henson said after Milwaukee's shootaround. "I think tonight I'm full go." It remains to be seen how coach Larry Drew views his role with Larry Sanders starting at center, but either way fantasy owners should be thrilled to have their fantasy-friendly big man back in action. With four games on the Bucks' schedule this week it should be safe to deploy Henson in all weekly lineups.

Sat Jan 11 201419:39John Henson (ankle) not expected to play
John Henson (ankle) is not expected to play against the Thunder on Saturday.
He is going to dress for the game and will be active, but the Bucks should hold him out. With Henson out, Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova will get the start. The Bucks were completely non-existent with regards to interior offense on Friday, so now they get Serge Ibaka and Co. Henson owners can only hope he can play on Monday and coach Larry Drew plays him next to Sanders.

Fri Jan 10 201418:50John Henson (ankle) out vs. Bulls Friday
John Henson (ankle) will not play against the Bulls on Friday.
It will be his sixth consecutive game out of the lineup. Henson ramped up his activity in Thursday's practice, but the team is in no rush to bring him back. He was playing well before the injury and his owners should continue to stash him despite the murky situation with his lack of playing time next to Larry Sanders.

Thu Jan 9 201417:34John Henson (ankle) might return Friday
John Henson (ankle) practiced on Thursday and he's questionable to play vs. the Bulls on Friday.
He hasn't played since Dec. 27 and there may be an adjustment period now that Larry Sanders is locked in at center, but Henson's fantasy upside is extraordinary. In under 29 minutes this year he's averaged 12.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.3 blocks, and the buy-low window will close in the near future.

Wed Jan 8 201414:23John Henson (ankle) goes through practice
John Henson (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
He did not go through contact and it sounds like he's not quite ready to return. Henson missed five consecutive games with his ankle sprain and should be considered questionable for Friday's game vs. the Bulls. Coach Larry Drew did not play Henson next to Larry Sanders while the two were healthy back on December 27, so that will be a very interesting aspect of their rotation upon Henson's return. He's still worth stashing in standard leagues.

Mon Jan 6 201414:13John Henson (ankle) won't play Tuesday
John Henson (ankle) will not play against the Warriors on Tuesday night.
He was limited in practice on Monday and is shooting to play this weekend. Henson was expected to miss the next three games and Tuesday would be his third one, so he should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Bulls. He led the NBA in blocked shots per game in December and was starting to come around offensively in the paint. Fantasy owners should probably sit tight and hope coach Larry Drew plays Henson next to Larry Sanders more.

Sat Dec 28 201319:35John Henson had an MRI on injured ankle
John Henson had an MRI on his injured ankle before the team ruled him out for Saturday's game.
On the bright side, at least the team announced he was out of the lineup before Saturday's game. However, the results of the MRI have not been released, so we'll hopefully get an update from the team at some point in 2013. Henson's injury is believed to be stemming from an incident back on Dec. 20. He should be considered questionable for Tuesday's contest against the Lakers.

Sat Dec 28 201318:57John Henson will not play on Saturday
John Henson (ankle) will not play against the Wolves on Saturday.
This injury comes out of nowhere after Henson played 20 minutes against the Nets on Friday. Henson should be considered questionable for Tuesday's game against the Wolves. Larry Sanders will start while Miroslav Raduljica will likely get more playing time.
