Zeller (shoulder) will not play Wednesday against the Kings.
Zeller sustained a sprained shoulder in Monday's loss to Washington, limiting him to only seven minutes. He'll sit out Wednesday and should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup with the Bulls. In his absence, Marvin Williams is the primary candidate to enter the starting lineup.

Zeller (shoulder) will not play Wednesday against the Kings, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Zeller sprained his right shoulder in Monday's loss to the Wizards, leaving the game in the first quarter after playing only seven minutes. The Hornets have not provided a timetable, but it's certainly not a positive sign to see Zeller ruled out more than 24 hours in advance of Wednesday's game. In his absence, Marvin Williams will likely enter the starting lineup, while Jason Maxiell and Bismack Biyombo could see extra minutes in reserve.

Zeller suffered a sprained right shoulder and will not return to Monday's game.
Zeller should be considered day-to-day and questionable to play Wednesday against the Kings. Prior to exiting Monday, he was held scoreless but registered a rebound and two blocks.

Zeller registered 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one block in 27 minutes as a starter against the Raptors on Friday.
Zeller was demoted to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Nets but has regained his spot in the starting lineup and will likely retain it moving forward. Although, he's a fringe player in standard leagues who is seeing limited time on the court despite his spot in the starting five.
Fri Mar 6 201517:53Zeller will return to starting lineup at power forward Friday
Zeller will return to the starting lineup at power forward Friday, the Hornets' official site reports.
Zeller was moved to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Nets so that he didn't have to try (and likely fail) to guard Joe Johnson, whom the Nets have been running at power forward for some reason, despite the fact that they have Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young on the bench. Look for Zeller to see his usual compliment of about 25 minutes as a starter.

Zeller played just 20 minutes, but was productive in that time, scoring 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 FT) with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocks Saturday.
The 2.3 blocks Zeller is averaging in his last three games is nice, but the fact that Steve Clifford is only giving his starting power forward 25 minutes over that stretch limits his usefulness in a lot of fantasy leagues. Until he approaches 30 minutes a night, owning Zeller should be reserved for deeper leagues, despite this impressive performance.

Zeller scored 21 points (10-11 FG, 1-2 FT) with eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks during the win against the Nuggets on Saturday
Zeller shot an impressive 10-of-11 from the field and chipped in across the board Saturday. Despite the impressive line, Zeller just isn't getting enough shots, averaging 6.1 field goal attempts per game, and only registering one double-double the entire season. He's a borderline deep-league option at best until he shows more consistent production.

Zeller scored nine points (3-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with 13 rebounds, seven assists and one block in 37 minutes during Wednesday's loss against the Spurs.
Zeller has been showing off his passing game with 20 assists over his past five games. Unfortunately, apart from some handy rebounds, he does not do enough across the board to be owned in standard leagues currently.

Zeller (shoulder) put up just two points (0-3 FG, 2-2 FT) in 17 minutes during his return to action Saturday at New York.
After missing Thursday's win in Toronto, Zeller retained his role as the Hornets' starting power forward, but the outing marked his second briefest of the season. Perhaps the amount of run aided in his inability to contribute on the glass, where the Hornets dominated to the tune of 51-29 over the Knicks. In any case, with three days off between games, expect him to remain in the starting five Wednesday against the Spurs.
Sat Jan 10 201511:01Zeller (shoulder) will play Saturday against Knicks
Zeller (shoulder) will play Saturday against the Knicks.
The shoulder injury sidelined Zeller for just one game, so there shouldn't be too much concern about him having to shake off any rust. The second-year big man has ratcheted up both his scoring and rebounding over his first four January contests, averaging 12 points and six boards over about 25 minutes of action. With Al Jefferson still out of commission, Zeller figures to see heavy run and makes for an intriguing play in daily formats Saturday against a hapless Knicks defense.

Zeller (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Knicks, the Charlotte Observer reports.
Zeller sat out Thursday's game against the Raptors with a strained right shoulder. The Hornets will likely make a decision on Zeller after Saturday's morning shootaround and Marvin Williams will likely benefit from added minutes if the shootaround is unproductive for Zeller.
Thu Jan 8 201519:27Zeller out for Thursday's game against Raptors
Zeller is out for Thursday's game against the Raptors.
Marvin Williams will start at power forward, with Bismack Biyombo and Jason Maxiell also candidates to see added playing time as a result of Zeller's absence.

Zeller (shoulder) is listed as questionable to play Thursday against Toronto due to a strained right shoulder.
Zeller played 28 minutes Wednesday against New Orleans, and the fact that he hasn't been ruled out for the second game of a back-to-back indicates the injury is nothing overly serious. If he's held out Thursday, don't expect a long absence.

Zeller scored 20 points (8-8 FG, 4-4 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 33 minutes Monday against the Celtics.
Zeller made the most of his shots Monday as he played at least 26 minutes for the third time in his last five games. He has grabbed at least six rebounds in each of his last four games and should continue to see increased playing time until Al Jefferson (groin) can return.

Zeller (nose) produced a solid line Wednesday against the Suns, posting seven points, nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in 24 minutes of action.
Zeller was a game-time decision before Wednesday, and it appears he's good to go moving forward. He hasn't impressed as a starter, but he's still worth owning in 16-man leagues or deeper.
Wed Dec 17 201412:03Zeller (nose) will start Wednesday against Suns
Zeller (nose) will start Wednesday against the Suns, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Zeller took a blow to the face in Monday's loss to Cleveland, limiting him to 18 minutes of action. He won't miss any time, however, and will be back on the floor Wednesday, possibly sporting a mask. If he opts to forego the protection, it's worth considering that re-injuring the nose is a possibility. Zeller is averaging 6.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in 22.7 minutes in six December games.

Zeller has a broken nose and is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Zeller suffered the injury Monday, but it seems as if he at least avoided a concussion. If Zeller doesn't go Wednesday, Marvin Williams and Jason Maxiell would both see action at power forward.

Zeller sustained a nasal contusion during Monday's loss in Cleveland, the Charlotte Observe reports.
Zeller was contained to just 18 minutes, which he utilized to put up four points (1-4 FG, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds. He fell short of his recent workload -- 23.6 minutes over the last five games -- but the Hornets are so far hopeful that he didn't sustain a concussion. No matter, keep an eye on Zeller in advance of his next possible outing Wednesday versus the Suns.
Wed Dec 3 201418:15Zeller will remain starter at power forward Wednesday
Zeller will remain the starter at power forward Wednesday, despite Marvin Williams returning to action, the Charlotte Observer's Marvin Williams reports.
He posted a double-double two games ago, but had a much more mediocre outing in his last game. Look for Zeller to see less than 30 minutes, and Williams may eventually regain the starting spot.
Sat Nov 29 201423:17Zeller earned second straight spot start in place of Marvin Will...
Zeller earned a second straight spot start in place of Marvin Williams (shoulder) on Saturday, but the game was a blowout, and Zeller only finished with four points (0-6 FG, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, and one steal in 24 minutes.
Zeller is in position to potentially steal the starting power forward job from Williams, but that door of opportunity may be closing soon with Williams projected to return for their next game Wednesday. Zeller had a terrific 15 points and 14 rebounds in Friday's game, but no one of the Hornets could get anything good going Saturday. Zeller is still a good flier candidate at the moment, but he would have looked better had he performed well and the Hornets had won one of their games this weekend.
