Wed Apr 15 201519:54Johnson starting Wednesday's season finale at Philadelphia
Johnson is starting Wednesday's season finale at Philadelphia, the Associated Press reports.
In his second career start, Johnson will handle the point with Goran Dragic (rest) likely out of the lineup. Johnson's per-36 output reads 11.6 points (on 43 percent shooting), 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 three-pointer.

Johnson is dealing with an illness and will not play in Tuesday's game against the Bucks, The Palm Beach Post reports.
Johnson should be considered a game-time decision for Wednesday's contest against the Celtics until the Heat update his status. The rookie only saw four total minutes over the last two games so his absence against the Bucks won't necessarily result in another player seeing extra time on the court.

Johnson shot extremely well in Saturday's overtime victory against the Kings, finishing with 24 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-10 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and a blocked shot in 44 minutes.
Johnson started Friday's game against the Wizards, but returned to the bench with Dwyane Wade moving back into the starting lineup. He remains a boom-or-bust fantasy player for the Heat, as he combined for just 12 points in his previous two games leading up to Saturday. He also probably received a bump in production with Luol Deng (thigh), Goran Dragic (back) and Hassan Whiteside (ankle) all sitting out. He's definitely a player to monitor and he should continue to be a high risk, high reward player, especially with all the injuries piling up for this team.

Johnson (ankle) was inserted into the starting lineup against the Wizards on Friday and compiled 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, and one steal during 36 minutes of action.
Johnson was a game-time call ahead of Friday's contest with the Wizards but he obviously felt well enough to play through whatever pain he may have been feeling. He should be available moving forward, although his stint in the starting lineup won't likely last for long with Dwyane Wade (hip) considered day-to-day.

Johnson (ankle) will play and start in Friday's game against the Wizards.
Johnson will benefit from Dwyane Wade's sore right hip as Wade will stay on the bench. The backup will likely enjoy an extra bump in value against the Wizards.
Fri Mar 6 201518:08Johnson (ankle) game-time call for Friday's game against Wizards
Johnson (ankle) is a game-time call for Friday's game against the Wizards.
He came out of nowhere to score 26 points two games ago, but then went back to seeing less than 10 minutes, and should be viewed as an extremely risky play in all formats Friday.

Johnson (ankle) followed up his career night Monday with a one-point dud Wednesday against the Lakers. He also contributed one assist in six minutes of action.
All the hype after his 26-point performance Monday can be put to rest after Wednesday's performance. Ultimately, playing behind Goran Dragic and Mario Chalmers in the rotation will suffocate any fantasy value Johnson may have, and he can be left in the wire in most leagues.
Wed Mar 4 201511:28Johnson (ankle) will play Wednesday against Lakers
Johnson (ankle) will play Wednesday against the Lakers, Shandel Richardson of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Johnson scored a career-high 26 points in Monday's win over Phoenix but emerged from the game with a minor ankle injury. After being limited in Tuesday's practice, he's been given the green light by the Heat's training staff, and he'll be available off the bench Wednesday. The Fresno State product has scored in double-figures four times this season, but he's also see his minutes fluctuate drastically since signing on in mid-January. AFter Monday's performance, however, he figures to be a fixture in the rotation, at least in the short-term.
Tue Mar 3 201513:28Johnson (ankle) limited participant in Tuesday's practice
Johnson (ankle) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice.
Johnson scored a career-high 26 points (10-13 FG, 3-3 3Pt) in 26 minutes Monday against the Suns, but he emerged with a sore ankle. It doesn't look to be anything serious, though his status should be monitored in advance of Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers.
Mon Mar 2 201522:40Johnson scored career-high 26 points (10-13 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT)...
Johnson scored a career-high 26 points (10-13 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT) to go along with one rebound, one assist and three steals in 26 minutes Monday against the Suns.
Johnson was on fire Monday off the bench and helped lead the Heat to a victory. While this performance was impressive, he only plays limited minutes off the bench and should not be considered a reliable fantasy option at this time.
Sun Feb 8 201509:34Tyler Johnson: Signs For Remander Of Season
Johnson has signed with the Miami Heat for the remainder of the season, RealGM.com's Shams Charania reports.
Johnson has provided nice production off the bench while Dwayne Wade (hamstring) has been out of the lineup. Though he's undersized as a shooting guard (6'3) the Heat are relatively thin behind Wade at that position, giving Johnson a chance to stick in the rotation.

Johnson scored 13 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), to go with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks in 27 minutes off the bench on Sunday.
This was the second game Johnson has played in this season and he pt up solid numbers across the board. With Dwyane Wade taking an extended absence to nurse a hamstring injury there are some minutes available in the backcourt. It's not clear how Miami will divide them at the moment, but if Johnson has more games like this he can find a good opportunity for himself.
Wed Jan 28 201516:53Johnson will sign another 10-day deal with Heat
Johnson will sign another 10-day deal with the Heat, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Johnson's first 10-day deal expired last week, and the Heat initially opted not to offer him a second contract. However, it appears the team has changed its mind, and the Fresno State product will return for a second stint. Johnson, who has appeared in only one game this season, will need to be signed for the rest of the season or released when his second 10-day deal is up.

The Heat opted not to re-sign Tyler Johnson after his 10-day contract expired Thursday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Johnson signed with Miami on Jan. 12 after the Heat waived Andre Dawkins, who is now with the Celtics. He played in only one game, logging 1:44 of garbage time against the Warriors. Johnson's rights are retained by Sioux Falls of the D-League, and he'll be eligible to sign another 10-day deal with the Heat later in the season, if the team chooses to do so.
Sun Jan 11 201512:13Johnson signed 10-day contract with Heat on Sunday
Johnson signed a 10-day contract with the Heat on Sunday, the Miami Herald reports.
Johnson will be brought into Miami so he can provide relief off the bench for Dwyane Wade. He'll likely see time on the court over the next 10 days so the Heat can determine if they want to retain his efforts for the rest of the season. If he were to excel and sign long term, there's a chance that he could see significant minutes on the court if Wade needs resting days down the stretch.
Thu Oct 23 201412:45Johnson waived by Heat on Thursday
Johnson was waived by the Heat on Thursday, Joseph Goodman of the Miami Herald reports.
The summer league invite was a star at Fresno State but never really had a realistic chance of cracking the Heat's opening night roster. He'll likely head to the D-League or seek an opportunity overseas.
