Fri Dec 7 201208:33Sixers contemplating shuffling rotation
Doug Collins is considering making changes to his lineup in order to improve the Sixers bench.
No changes are expected to be made on Friday, but one alteration could be the Sixers sending Jason Richardson to a sixth man role while inserting Dorell Wright back into the starting lineup. With Nick Young (toe) on the sidelines, Philly has struggled to get anything from the bench. Stay tuned.

Jason Richardson made four 3-pointers while shooting 9-of-17 from the floor for 22 points, adding five rebounds, two steals and one block in 30 minutes in a 104-98 win over the Bobcats.
J-Rich simply will not slow down from beyond the arc and he boosted his season average to 2.7 makes per game. He should be owned in all leagues. It's pretty simple.

J-Rich's level of activity was a nice surprise for anyone who gambled on him, even if his numbers don't stand out. He's averaging 2.7 threes per game this year, and he'll be ready to go vs. the Mavericks on Tuesday.

Sun Nov 25 201216:54Jason Richardson (ankle) expects to play
Jason Richardson (ankle) is expected to play against the Suns on Sunday.
J-Rich was called "50-50" to play on Saturday and this ankle sprain is not nearly as severe as the one that cost him four games earlier this month. He averaged 3.1 triples since his return from his last ankle injury and should be in all fantasy lineups.

Wed Nov 21 201223:44J-Rich adds a couple more 3s on Wednesday
Jason Richardson scored 16 points to go with three steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Cavs on Wednesday.
J-Rich has been on a tear since returning from his ankle injury and he's making 2.6 3s per game while adding 1.8 steals. He's well worth owning and it seems only an injury will slow him down.

Tue Nov 20 201220:33Jason Richardson gets face stepped on
Jason Richardson suffered a head contusion in the third quarter of Tuesday's game and he will return.
Kyle Lowry stepped on J-Rich's head and caused some serious pain. His head hit the floor very hard, which of course raises the concern of a concussion. It looks like that's not the case and J-Rich is basically a must-own player with the way he's been knocking down 3-pointers.

Jason Richardson scored 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting (including five threes) with eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the Sixers' win over the Jazz on Friday.
Richardson has been a mid-round value in 8-cat leagues and an early round value in 9-cat leagues whenever he has been on the floor. If he's healthy, he should be in most lineups until further notice.

Mon Nov 12 201217:59Jason Richardson (ankle) will start on Monday
Jason Richardson (ankle) will start Monday's game, as expected.

Mon Nov 12 201211:34Jason Richardson says he's 100 percent
Jason Richardson (ankle) says he's 100 percent and will play Monday against the Bucks.
Richardson had been expected to return against Milwaukee, but this should put to rest any concerns owners might have had. Richardson is going to get starter's minutes at SG, so you should feel free to pick and play.

Sun Nov 11 201221:58Jason Richardson (ankle) should play Monday
Jason Richardson (ankle) is "scheduled to return" for Monday's game vs. the Bucks, according to beat writer John Finger.
Doug Collins looks committed to J-Rich and he should be serviceable while holding down the starting SG job, so feel free to grab him if he's on your waiver wire. His return diminishes the value of Dorell Wright and Nick Young, though the Sixers do play four games this week.

Fri Nov 9 201213:26Jason Richardson, Kwame Brown out Friday
Jason Richardson (ankle) and Kwame Brown (calf) will both miss Friday's game against the Celtics.
Both veterans were unlikely to suit against Boston, with Brown likely sidelined for Saturday's game as well. Dorrell Wright will continue to see the majority of minutes in Richardson's absence, while Lavoy Allen and Spencer Hawes will sub for Brown.

Thu Nov 8 201213:34Jason Richardson (ankle) doubtful for Friday
Jason Richardson (ankle) is "unlikely" to return for Friday's game vs. the Celtics.
J-Rich continues to make progress, and the sprain isn't severe, but Philadelphia won't risk an aggravation for their veteran SG. Dorell Wright will return to a reserve role once Richardson is healthy enough to take the court.

Tue Nov 6 201212:58Jason Richardson (ankle) 'getting better'
Updating a previous item, Jason Richardson (sprained ankle) is "getting better."
There is no timetable for Richardson's return, but it's clearly not a serious sprain if he's already on the mend. Keep in mind that J-Rich is in a walking boot, so owners will have to check back for an update to get a clearer idea on when he might return.

Tue Nov 6 201209:44Jason Richardson spotted in walking boot
Jason Richardson (sprained ankle) is sporting a walking boot, and Doug Collins does not have a timetable for his return.
Dorell Wright started in place of Richardson on Monday, a trend that is likely to continue for however long Richardson is out. The fact that he's wearing a walking boot indicates the sprain could be serious, and Wright is staring at major minutes as a result.

Sun Nov 4 201215:22Jason Richardson (ankle) doubtful for Monday
Jason Richardson (sprained ankle) didn't suffer any structural damage, but he left the arena in a walking boot on Sunday and said that he could miss a few games.
We can safely rule out J-Rich for Monday's game, and we'll consider him questionable to play on Friday. Dorell Wright is the most promising option to absorb his minutes -- Nick Young will also get plenty of burn, and may start at SG, but he rarely gives you more than scoring and 3-pointers.

Sun Nov 4 201213:01Jason Richardson leaves w/ sprained ankle
Jason Richardson left Sunday's game after stepping on a cameraman and spraining his left ankle.
We'll pass along updates as they become available, but in the meantime Nick Young and Dorell Wright should step into larger roles off Philly's bench. Young jumps out as a likely starter if J-Rich isn't able to suit up for Monday's rematch vs. the Knicks.

Wed Oct 31 201222:50Jason Richardon fills stat sheet in start
Jason Richardson started at small forward and played 37 minutes, finishing with just 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting, but also added four rebounds, two assists, four steals, three blocks and two 3-pointers.
That is a pretty spiffy stat line and Dorell Wright didn't slow him down tonight, despite playing 28 minutes of his own. As long as Richardson holds the starting job and his knee allows him to play, he should be owned in most fantasy leagues.
