Sat Jan 26 201300:44Gerald Wallace crashes on Friday with one pt
Gerald Wallace scored just one point with three rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 24 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday.
He has yet to crack double digits in scoring since returning from bruised ribs in five games. Crash also hasn't really done much outside of 1.2 steals per game in that span and he's been a real pain in the neck for his owners. While he does have some upside, it's probably best to just bench him until he can get it together in standard leagues.

Sat Jan 19 201301:03Gerald Wallace scores eight points
Gerald Wallace played 29 minutes in his first start since his rib injury and had eight points, three rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in Friday's 94-89 win over Atlanta.
It's nice to see Crash put up stats in steals, blocks and threes for the Nets and he might have been let loose in some standard leagues. He's more of a player for Roto leagues and is worth a flier in hopes he can revive his value. Joe Johnson scored 18 points with three rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers.

Gerald Wallace returned from his bruised ribs on Wednesday and had four points, two rebounds and one steal in 15 minutes against the Hawks.
He didn't look like his old self and wasn't nearly as aggressive. Wallace took a really ugly fall on Friday and missed two games, but it looks like he'll be ready to go and could start against the Hawks on Friday. His owners might want to bench him until he starts to produce.

Gerald Wallace (ribs) is a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Tue Jan 15 201309:53Gerald Wallace (ribs) ruled out on Tuesday
Gerald Wallace (ribs), who did not play on Sunday, has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.
Wallace's ribs still aren't right, and it can be a tricky injury as ribs heal at their own rate. Keith Bogans started in Wallace's place on Sunday, and that will probably be the case again on Tuesday. Look for MarShon Brooks to also play an increased role off the bench, though neither he or Bogans are options in standard formats.

Sat Jan 12 201313:28Gerald Wallace won't play Sunday vs. Pacers
Gerald Wallace (bruised ribs) won't play Sunday against the Pacers.
Wallace suffered the injury Friday when he took a horrible spill as he was fouled by P.J. Tucker. The fact that the ribs are only bruised and not broken leads us to think he'll return sometime next week. After Sunday, the Nets don't play again until Tuesday, so we'll likely have to wait until Monday for further update. We'll consider him day-to-day for now. MarShon Brooks and Keith Bogans will share Wallace's minutes Sunday.

Fri Jan 11 201320:20X-rays negative on Gerald Wallace's ribs
Gerald Wallace suffered bruised ribs in the first quarter of Friday's game against the Suns and X-rays were negative.
He took a horrific spill as P.J. Tucker fouled him. The good news is that he didn't break anything and Crash seems to have avoided serious injury. There isn't much reason to make a speculative add like Keith Bogans or MarShon Brooks and Wallace should be considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Pacers.

Fri Jan 11 201319:49Gerald Wallace leaves game in first quarter
Gerald Wallace was fouled hard by P.J. Tucker while driving to the hoop and took a very bad fall in the first quarter of Friday's game.
He was in agony after the foul and laid on the ground for several minutes while the training staff tended to him. Wallace walked very gingerly to the locker room and he could miss time with the injury. He will not return to the game because he was unable to shoot his free throws and Tucker wasn't charged with a flagrant. Keith Bogans should pick up some extra time and MarShon Brooks might also pick up some of the slack.

Gerald Wallace scored seven points on 2-of-5 shooting with three rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three blocks in 39 minutes on Friday.

Gerald Wallace returned from his knee injury and played a whopping 37 minutes, but finished Wednesday's win with just six points, four boards and two steals on 2-of-5 shooting.
The good news is Wallace is back and saw so many minutes, so we'll give him a pass on the bad night. He should bounce back in the next one as long as his knee feels OK in the morning.

Tue Jan 1 201313:27Gerald Wallace probable vs. OKC on Wed.
Gerald Wallace (bruised left knee) was limited during Tuesday's practice, but he's considered probable vs. the Thunder on Wednesday.
Crash's knee has been bothering him for a while but he only missed one game in December, while averaging 11.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks in 36 minutes per game. Brooklyn will need him to play well if they hope to knock off the Thunder in OKC.
