Mon Dec 31 201211:31Wallace questionable, Humphries out Monday
Gerald Wallace (knee) is questionable to play in Monday's game against the Spurs, while Kris Humphries (abdomen) is probable.
If Wallace can't play, it may give Humphries a perfect opportunity to get back into the rotation. Humprhies hasn't played in five straight games so he'll likely be a little rusty, and while Wallace has been battling through the injury, it's clearly been impacting his play in a negative fashion. He could be headed for a dreaded game-time call. If Wallace doesn't play, Humphries, Keith Bogans, Reggie Evans and Andray Blatche are all candidates to see more minutes.

Sat Dec 29 201223:48Gerald Wallace still slumping offensively
Gerald Wallace scored just seven points on Saturday, but he also had 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 37 minutes.
Crash is going through a little slump offensively, as he's now shooting 3-of-17 from the field in his past three games (1-of-6 on Saturday). As long as the minutes are there he'll find ways to contribute, so just keep him active and hope that he gets some traction vs. the Spurs on Monday.

Sat Dec 29 201200:16Gerald Wallace crashes and burns w/ no points
Gerald Wallace failed to score in 24 minutes, while adding five rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block against the Bobcats on Friday.
Wallace played through his hyperextended left knee and the lack of scoring shouldn't necessarily indicate he isn't healthy. He's lived up to his nickname of "Crash" with some injuries here and there, but he's still worth starting in most leagues while healthy.

Fri Dec 28 201218:33Gerald Wallace to play through knee injury
Gerald Wallace (hyperextended left knee) will start Friday night against the Bobcats.
Wallace was expected to play through the injury in the Nets' first game since Avery Johnson was fired. As long as Crash is healthy, his multi-cat game makes him worthy of starting in almost all leagues.

Gerald Wallace has a hyperextended left knee, but he is probable to play on Friday.
Wallace is a little banged up, but he's expected to play against the Bobcats. He had eight points, 12 boards, eight assists, two steals and a block in his last one and owners shouldn't be hesitant about using him as long as he's on the floor.

Thu Dec 27 201200:13Gerald Wallace flirts with triple-double
Gerald Wallace hit just 2-of-8 shots on Wednesday but finished with eight points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a block in a loss to the Bucks.
Wallace is now racking up starts and minutes at power forward, which is not his preferred position. He's playing well for the Nets and should thrive, regardless of which position he's starting at going forward.

Sun Dec 23 201218:33Gerald Wallace grabs nine boards in start
Gerald Wallace started at power forward for the first time this year and had 14 points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes on Sunday.
Wallace may have got the start in matchup play against Thaddeus Young and the Sixers and it shouldn't really impact his value too much regardless. Even though it worked since the Nets were victorious, he will likely move back to small forward when the Nets take on the Celtics on Christmas day.

Sun Dec 23 201214:29Gerald Wallace will start at power forward
Gerald Wallace will start at power forward against the Sixers on Sunday.
When Brook Lopez has been healthy, the Brooklyn power forward spot hasn't really been able to click in fantasy leagues. Kris Humphries has already been on his owners' bad side and this goes as another discouraging sign. For what it's worth, this could just be a matchup move against Philly. Keith Bogans will start at small forward, but he is unlikely to see enough of a role or minutes to matter in fantasy leagues.

Gerald Wallace hit just 2-of-7 shots and a 3-pointer for six points, five rebounds and one assist, despite playing 37 minutes on Wednesday.
The Nets got nothing from their forwards tonight, which has a lot to do with why they lost to the Knicks. Wallace has played well lately and this was just a fluke against one of the most surprising teams in the league.

Gerald Wallace had season highs of 50 minutes and 25 points, while adding 10 rebounds, two steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers against the Pistons on Friday.
Crash was everywhere tonight and he had a huge tip-in late in the game. This turned out to be one of the biggest fantasy lines of the season because he shot 9-of-15 from the field and made all four three throws. His arrow is pointing up right now.

Gerald Wallace hit just 2-of-5 shots for nine points, one rebound, three assists and a steal in 25 minutes on Wednesday.
He appeared to injure his right knee on Tuesday night, but played through it in this one. Unless we hear differently, we're just calling this an off night for Wallace, who had been playing very well coming in.

Wed Dec 5 201215:48Gerald Wallace second hit with flopping fine
The NBA hit Gerald Wallace with a $5,000 fine for flopping.
Wallace and teammate Reggie Evans are the only two players to have been fined under the league's new protocol, but we won't speculate on any sort of anti-Brooklyn bias from the league. There's been several other players warned, including Clippers PG Chauncey Billups.

Gerald Wallace filled the stat sheet with 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Thunder on Tuesday.
Crash had a career-high five treys on Friday and he's now buried 2.6 per game in his last five contests. Not counting the game where he was ejected at Boston, Wallace has played in 37.3 minutes per game in his last four. It looks like he's over his ankle injury.

Gerald Wallace scored 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting in Saturday's loss, while grabbing a season-high nine rebounds.
Crash was coming off a season-high 20-point game on Friday, and the absence of Brook Lopez (foot) is clearly working in his favor. He may not return to early-round fantasy value with the Nets, but neither does he belong on waiver wires.

Gerald Wallace made a career-high five 3-pointers on Friday while scoring 20 points, adding four rebounds, three assists and one block in 32 minutes against the Magic on Friday.
Maybe David Stern should fine Gerald Wallace $35,000 more often. Crash shot 7-of-9 from the field tonight in his best effort on the year. It looks like he is over his ankle injury and he has quite a bit of fantasy cred for adding plenty of defensive stats to the box scores.

It's been an eventful 24 hours for Wallace, who received a warning for flopping from the NBA one and was ejected from Wednesday night's game. He's a prime buy-low consideration in fantasy leagues after averaging 7.4 points in his first seven games this season.

Thu Nov 29 201215:26Gerald Wallace gets warning for flopping
Gerald Wallace has received a warning from the NBA for flopping in Monday's game against the Knicks.
The bigger issue for Wallace at the moment, however, is whether or not he'll be suspended for his role in Wednesday night's brawl with the Celtics. Wallace seems less likely to receive a suspension than Rajon Rondo and Kris Humphries, but could still face discipline from the league.

Wed Nov 28 201220:58Gerald Wallace ejected on Wednesday
Gerald Wallace picked up his second technical foul and was ejected in the first half of Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Crash got into it with K.G. and the two technical fouls were the reason he had to hit the showers early. Wallace is a little less likely to see a suspension, but running into a fight won't increase his chances. He had five points, two rebounds, three assists and three steals in 13 minutes on Wednesday. The Nets travel to Orlando on Friday.

Crash is going to be a guy well worth owning all year as long as he isn't seriously hurt.
