Thu Mar 28 201302:53Gerald Wallace plays well despite sore feet
Gerald Wallace had 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals on 5-of-12 shooting on a night the Nets couldn't do much wrong.
They got an easy win at Portland and while Wallace's play was encouraging, especially when you consider he has been nursing sore feet, he's been too inconsistent to be trusted in fantasy leagues. Maybe this is a sign he's about to get hot, so just keep an eye on him.

Tue Mar 26 201315:13Gerald Wallace rests his feet during practice
Gerald Wallace (sore feet) rested during Tuesday's practice.
It sounds like a precautionary day off for the 30-year-old Wallace. The Nets are in the midst of a brutal eight-game road trip and Wallace has averaged 35.5 minutes a night over the last two contests. He says he will be fine for Wednesday's game in Portland.

Sun Mar 24 201301:55Gerald Wallace shows up in loss to Clippers
Gerald Wallace scored 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting vs. the Clippers, knocking down two 3-pointers with three rebounds, five assists, three steals and one turnover.
He logged nearly 36 minutes and triggered waves of nostalgia with glimpses of vintage Crash. This is the second time in 17 games that he's cracked double-digits, however, and it will take more than one solid game to sell us on the notion that he's 'back'.

Sun Mar 17 201322:58Gerald Wallace struggles again w/ four points
Gerald Wallace struggled yet again on Sunday, scoring four points on 1-of-8 shooting in 24 minutes.
He's having a nightmare season, averaging 8.4 points on a careeer-worst 40.3 percent shooting, and there have been no signs of a prolonged turnaround. Games like this have been all too common, and he's not a recommended option in standard leagues.

Tue Mar 12 201308:22Gerald Wallace unhappy with benching late
Gerald Wallace was unhappy following the Nets loss on Monday in which he was benched for the entire fourth quarter.
Wallace, who is in the first season of a four-year, $40 million deal, is averaging 8.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals on 40.4 percent shooting this season. "I'm not talking," he said. Wallace sat while guys like Reggie Evans and Keith Bogans played, and there really isn't much reason to own him in standard formats with how poorly he's playing. Since the All-Star break, Wallace is averaging a pathetic six points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals on 30.5 percent shooting.

Wed Mar 6 201321:39Gerald Wallace blocks season-high five
Gerald Wallace blocked a season-high five shots against the Bobcats on Wednesday, adding eight points, eight boards, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes.
He shot 1-of-7 from the field and it did come against the Bobcats, so this isn't exactly a head-turning line for Crash. Wallace has barely produced top-200 value in standard leagues over the past two weeks and he's not considered to be a must-own player.

Sat Mar 2 201302:03Wallace struggles again on Friday vs. DAL
Gerald Wallace struggled again in Friday's 98-90 home loss to the Mavs, scoring seven points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds and no steals or blocks in 21 minutes.
Whether it's a rib injury or his confidence, this just isn't working for owners and Wallace's contract has the potential to be a league-worst deal in the three years after this. Crash is owed $30 million over that span.

Thu Feb 28 201307:59Wallace admits to physical and mental slump
Gerald Wallace admitted that he's in both a physical and mental slump right now.
"It is what it is," Wallace said. "I just have to keep playing. I try not to affect me as far as playing. I can't complain. The games keep coming." Wallace is averaging just 7.2 points on under 40 percent shooting since sustaining his rib injury, and he needs to get back to slashing rather than setting for outside jumpers. He has failed to score double-digits in every game since February 11 and hasn't scored more than 14 points in any game since 2013 began.

Sat Feb 23 201300:19Gerald Wallace racks up five steals in loss
Gerald Wallace hit just 3-of-10 shots for seven points, but added five rebounds, two assists and five steals in 31 minutes of Friday's loss.
Wallace came in averaging 7.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 3-pointers over his previous five games, and despite the lack of scoring and poor shooting, he's worth owning in most leagues as long as he's starting and the minutes are there.

Tue Feb 19 201323:56Gerald Wallace fills stat sheet in win
Gerald Wallace hit just 3-of-10 shots for six points Tuesday, but also had six rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in the win.
Wallace came in averaging 8.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.4 3-pointers over his previous five games, and is worth owning in most leagues now that he's producing again.

Thu Feb 14 201300:06Gerald Wallace suddenly filling stat sheet
Gerald Wallace had eight points, nine rebounds, five assists, a steal, three blocks and two more 3-pointers on 3-of-7 shooting in Wednesday's win.
He's starting to come on, although more points would be nice. He's averaging 8.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.4 3-pointers over his last five games, while shooting 48 percent from the field, but just 60 percent from the foul line. If you were on the verge of dropping him, Wallace has played well enough over his last two games to be given more chances going forward. Over his last two, he's averaging 9.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 3-pointers.

Tue Feb 12 201300:01Gerald Wallace actually shows up
Gerald Wallace showed up on Monday in a win over the Pacers with 11 points, 11 boards, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 46 minutes.
This was a long overdue positive for Crash and it was the first time he had one steal, one block and one triple in a game since January 18. Monday's big game can be attributed to Deron Williams out, but it's still a good sign. He's worth grabbing in some leagues.

Thu Feb 7 201300:33Gerald Wallace scores 14 in 27 minutes
Gerald Wallace had 14 points, three rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes on Wednesday.
This was his first game in double-digit scoring since Jan. 26 and he's averaging just 8.4 points and 5.0 rebounds over his last five, despite tonight's mini explosion. But the minutes are there and there's almost no way he can continue to struggle this badly to score for much longer. If he was dropped in your league, think about grabbing him and hope this is a sign that his slump is almost over.

Tue Feb 5 201322:34Gerald Wallace quiet again in loss to Lakers
Gerald Wallace hit just 3-of-10 shots for nine points, three rebounds, four assists, three steals and a 3-pointer in 36 minutes of Tuesday's loss.
The minutes were promising and he did everything but block a shot, but Wallace's play is still a concern to his owners. He's averaging just 7.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals on 50 percent shooting over his last five games. However, he's also averaging 31 minutes over that stretch, and there's still a decent chance he will finally break out of the funk and start looking for his shot as long as the minutes are there. Drop him at your own risk.

Sat Feb 2 201300:26Wallace grabs 13 rebounds against Bulls
Gerald Wallace grabbed 13 rebounds on Friday against the Bulls, but still only added six points on 3-of-4 shooting with two assists and one steal in 41 minutes.
It didn't hurt that the Bulls were short-handed tonight on the inside, and owners will take it how they can get it right now with Crash. Maybe this is a sign he'll start to turn things on again, but the writing was on the wall for his fantasy value when Joe Johnson was signed and Brook Lopez got healthy.

Wed Jan 30 201323:31Gerald Wallace continues his crash
Gerald Wallace struggled again on Wednesday with six points, two rebounds, three assists and one block in 29 minutes against the Heat.
This will put an end to his putrid January, averaging 6.3 points and 2.9 boards in 25 minutes of action. Wallace is clinging to life in standard leagues and his owners can probably do better.

Mon Jan 28 201323:00Gerald Wallace has another off game
Gerald Wallace scored seven points with four rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes against the Magic on Monday.
On the bright side, he did make all three field goal attempts and he's made 0.8 triples in his last five games. However, Crash hasn't made a splash in fantasy leagues all January with a pathetic 6.4 points per game on 38 percent shooting. It's probably best to bench him, but we wouldn't blame you for dropping him for a hot free agent.
