David West scored 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and one block on Friday.

West was productive but continues to be slow on defense and he's not exactly creating offense for anybody else. As long as he's in the Pacers' lineup, he should probably be in yours.

David West will be rested for Wednesday's game vs. the Bucks.

The Pacers will try to snap a six-game road losing streak without all five of their starters, and Milwaukee is the best place to try such a thing. Veteran PF Luis Scola will move into the starting lineup temporarily, but West is expected to return for Friday's key matchup vs. the Heat.

David West asked Pacers coach Frank Vogel about getting some rest down the stretch, and his status for Wednesday's game is uncertain.

Vogel benched Roy Hibbert because his big man "looked worn down" on Sunday, and it seems the precautionary DNPs may have just begun. Paul George is also a candidate for rest days, and even younger guys like Lance Stephenson and George Hill should be watched closely in the Pacers' final four games.

David West is concerned about the morale of the freefalling Pacers.

"We're probably the most downtrodden 50-plus win team in the history of the game," David West said after a 103-77 loss to San Antonio. The Pacers have lost three consecutive games (and six of their last 10) and have now fallen into a tie for the East with the Heat. Despite his willingness to take on a leadership role, West has seen a dip in his recent numbers and is averaging 2.9 points per game less than his season average over the Pacers' last 10 games. The only silver lining for fantasy owners here is that the Pacers' battle for Eastern supremacy with the Heat means that they won't be resting their stars down the stretch.

David West played 35 minutes vs. the Cavs on Sunday with 14 points, four boards, two assists and one block on 6-of-16 from the field.

He got into an altercation with Spencer Hawes and received a flagrant-1 foul. West probably won't be suspended for the incident, but he could be looking at a fine. He's also having one of his worst stretches over his last five, averaging 12.2 points, 7.0 boards and 1.0 blocks on 34.4 percent from the field and the Pacers went just 1-4 in that span. He's still worth starting this week.

David West played the second half with a brace on his right hand, but still hit 11-of-13 shots for 24 points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block as the Pacers beat the Celtics to snap a four-game losing streak.

It wasn't the prettiest of wins, but it was a much needed W for the reeling Pacers. And with Paul George, Roy Hibbert and Lance Stephenson all struggling offensively right now, the Pacers will need more where this came from until his teammates break out of their funks.

David West cooled off vs. the Mavericks, making 2-of-9 field goals to finish with eight points, seven rebounds and three assists in a road loss.

The Pacers have dropped four straight games, on the heels of a five-game win streak. They'll look to get back on track vs. the Celtics on Tuesday, and fantasy owners can safely anticipate a bounce-back effort from West -- few players are as steady and reliable as Indy's 11-year veteran.

David West scored a game-high 27 points against the Warriors on Tuesday with seven boards, two assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes.

He took advantage of a matchup with David Lee and is coming off a 25-point game against a weak Jazz defense. West's scoring numbers have been trending up as the season has gone along and he's off to a terrific start in March. He is durable and his previous seasons suggest he should have a nice finish in his 11th year.

David West scored a team-high 25 points on 11-of-17 shooting to help the Pacers escape with a 94-91 win vs. Utah on Sunday.

West can punish almost any opposing PF in the post and the neophyte Jazz were no exception. He scored 30 points on Feb. 22 but in the three games since he was averaging 10.6 points per game, so it's nice to see him get rolling again.

David West matched his season high of 30 points against the Bucks on Saturday with seven boards, five assists and one steal on 11-of-16 shooting.

One game after Kenneth Faried took Ersan Ilyasova to school on Thursday with 26 points, West sent Ilyasova down to remedial class with a dominating performance. The Pacers forward is heating up over his last five, averaging 17.6 points, 5.6 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.4 blocks on 57.4 percent from the field. He's coming on nicely and is shaping up to be a must-start in standard leagues again.

David West shot 11-of-13 from the field for 25 points with three boards, two assists, two blocks and one turnover in just 27 minutes on Monday vs. the Nuggets.

It looked like coach Frank Vogel did his homework and exploited the pathetic interior defense of Denver with his top two scorers coming at the power forward and center spots. Roy Hibbert also put up 14 points, 12 boards, one steal and four blocks. West is in one of his best stretches of the season with 22.3 points per game over his last four, so he's a bit of a sell-high player.

David West scored a season-high 30 points against the Blazers on Friday with 10 boards, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 40 minutes.

he showed Lamarcus Aldridge a thing or two about mid-range jumpers, making seven shots from at least 17 feet in the win. West's shots are on the rise a little bit and as the Pacers are running less plays for Roy Hibbert, so he has a chance to improve on his 13.1 points-per-game average as the season goes on.

David West hit 10-of-19 shots and his third 3-pointer of the season for 22 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and a block in Tuesday's tough win at Atlanta.

If you're looking for a reason the Pacers got their first win in ATL since 2006 (which is hard to believe), West's strong play against Paul Millsap (2-of-11, seven points) is where you should start. West isn't exactly crushing it every night, but was the best player on the court tonight.

David West played 32 minutes against the Suns with 18 points, three boards, one assist and one block.

He has his signature mid-range game working this season, making 44.2 percent shots from that range. A whopping 46.3 percent of West's shots come from that area and he's a great fit for the Pacers offense on the weak side of the play. West isn't having an eye-catching season, but his defensive stats have given him mid-round value in standard leagues.

David West scored 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds and three assists in Friday's overtime win.

West has been dealing with a hand issue but you couldn't tell by his performance in the box score tonight. He's been a solid mid-to-late round value on the season.

David West (hand) is ready to go against the Kings on Friday.

He was fitted for a glove and added it didn't protect his hand much. His scoring has really dropped off in January, averaging just 11.1 points per game, which is down from 14.0 in December. West is still doing enough in boards, blocks and steals to be owned in standard leagues.

David West suffered a right hand injury in the first quarter of Wednesday's game against the Suns and will return.

There have been a lot of hand injuries in the NBA this season and thankfully West is fine. We'll let you know how he does following the road game at US Airways Center.

David West was fined $15,000 by the NBA on Sunday for his flagrant foul on Blake Griffin in Saturday's game.

He was ejected from the game for an elbow to the face. The fine seems about right for West and the infraction doesn't warrant a suspension. West's offensive opportunities have gone south with the Pacers thanks to the emergence of Paul George and Lance Stephenson as the leader for Most Improved Player.

David West was ejected after a flagrant 2 foul during Saturday's game against the Clippers.

He threw an elbow at Blake Griffin and the move probably warranted an ejection. West shouldn't be seeing a suspension from the play and it didn't really escalate like Nick Young's incident from Wednesday. He finished with four points and two boards in 15 minutes. Luis Scola will step in and take on all the minutes he can handle.

David West scored 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes on Friday.

Despite his right hand injury he was the best shooter for the Pacers tonight, and owners can continue to use him like they normally would.
