Nets officially sign SG Keith Bogans.
Bogans will be a good guy to have in the locker room but don't expect much from him on the court, playing behind Joe Johnson and MarShon Brooks. He's also coming off left ankle surgery and a torn deltoid ligament, but should be ready for the start of the season.

Wed Feb 8 201221:59Bogans suffers ankle injury on Wednesday
Keith Bogans left Wednesday's game late in the fourth quarter after injuring his left ankle and did not return.
It didn't look pretty, and Bogans was unable to put any weight on his left leg while being helped to the locker room. He finished the evening with three points and two assists in 21 minutes. Bogans shouldn't have been in any fantasy lineups anyway, but this is just another injury for the beat-up Nets.

Mon Feb 6 201218:03Keith Bogans starting at shooting guard
Keith Bogans will start at shooting guard in Monday's game against the Bulls.
Anthony Morrow (personal), MarShon Brooks (toe) and DeShawn Stevenson (knee) are all out. That leaves Bogans, the ex-Bull that just signed with the Nets this past Wednesday. Still, he'll split time with Jordan Farmar and has never been a great offensive player. In 82 starts for the Bulls last year, Bogans averaged just 4.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Wed Feb 1 201223:27Keith Bogans quiet in debut for Nets
Keith Bogans had two points in 18 minutes in his debut for the Nets on Wednesday.
The Nets only had eight healthy players and Bogans, who was just signed, was one of them. But as long as Deron Williams and Jordan Farmar are healthy, it's hard to imagine Bogans being worth a pickup.

Bogans started all 82 games for the Bulls last season, but averaged less than 20 minutes per game and was released prior to this year beginning. Sat Dec 17 201110:20Keith Bogans very unhappy w/ Bulls
Keith Bogans was "extremely unhappy" with the way the Bulls dealt with him this preseason.
Chicago waited until the very last second to decline his contract option, which is their right, and they released him as soon as it was clear Rip Hamilton would sign. The defense-oriented veteran should be able to latch on with another team.
